Repositorios especializados en humanidades y educación

En este trabajo se presentan los avances del proyecto 16H389 "Aportes para el desarrollo de repositorios digitales especializados en Humanidades y Educación", de la Secretaría de Investigación y Posgrado de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional de Misiones. El estudio se construye sobre los conocimientos y avances existentes y recurre a una articulación regional, para tratar de construir redes académicas con el fin de potenciar el trabajo colaborativo de los subequipos de investigación. También pretende promover la difusión, tanto de las problemáticas comunes como de las alternativas de soluciones consensuadas en el ámbito de las TIC aplicadas a las Ciencias de la Información. Movidos por los postulados de la Ley N° 26899 de Creación de Repositorios Digitales Institucionales de Acceso Abierto, Propios o Compartidos; las facultades de: Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales de la UNaM; Humanidades de la UNNE y de la UNaF; Derecho y Ciencias Políticas de la UNNE, acuerdan cooperar en una investigación que dé cuenta de la realidad en la que están inmersas y de las posibilidades de intervención sobre la misma. Se pretende aportar elementos teórico-prácticos para el desarrollo de repositorios especializados en Humanidades y Educación en las unidades académicas que integran la ANFHE en el área geográfica del NEA

Influencia del Comportamiento Innovador en la Satisfacción de los Clientes de la empresa; Agro Veterinaria González del municipio de Tipitapa, departamento de Managua en el I semestre del año 2017

Con la siguiente investigación se analiza cual es la influencia del Comportamiento Innovador en la satisfacción de los clientes de la empresa; Agro Veterinaria González del municipio de Tipitapa, departamento de Managua en el I semestre del año 2017. Las variables que se tomaron para ser analizadas fueron las influencias de comportamiento Innovador y la satisfacción de los clientes. Para su análisis fue necesario tomar en cuenta los Instrumentos como los son: las encuestas, entrevista y guía de observación todas estas aplicadas a los Trabajadores, Gerente y Clientes. Los resultados que se obtuvieron de la Agro Veterinaria González; es que esta cuenta con un Comportamiento Innovador Proactivo manteniendo a los clientes satisfechos con los productos y servicios que oferta en el negocio, además que esto también refleja que existen variables del comportamiento innovador que influyen en la satisfacción de los clientes. Por otra parte se encontraron situaciones no alentadoras en cuanto a la satisfacción de los clientes, ya sea por motivos en la atención, en los productos que se ofertan o en el servicio que se brinda, es por ello que se recomienda analizar estas situación que conllevan a ese criterio y de esta manera lograr contrarrestar cualquier situación negativa, además de darles un seguimientos a las investigaciones del mercado para seguir innovando más y lograr siempre estar a la vanguardia de los competidore

Cosmic strings and Natural Inflation

In the present work we discuss cosmic strings in natural inflation. Our analysis is based entirely on the CMB quadrupole temperature anisotropy and on the existing upper bound on the cosmic string tension. Our results show that the allowed range for both parameters of the inflationary model is very different from the range obtained recently if cosmic strings are formed at the same time with inflation, while if strings are formed after inflation we find that the parameters of the inflationary model are similar to the ones obtained recently.Comment: 12 pages, 0 tables, 4 figures, accepted for publication in JHE

A Model of the Cellular Iron Homeostasis Network Using Semi-Formal Methods for Parameter Space Exploration

This paper presents a novel framework for the modeling of biological networks. It makes use of recent tools analyzing the robust satisfaction of properties of (hybrid) dynamical systems. The main challenge of this approach as applied to biological systems is to get access to the relevant parameter sets despite gaps in the available knowledge. An initial estimate of useful parameters was sought by formalizing the known behavior of the biological network in the STL logic using the tool Breach. Then, once a set of parameter values consistent with known biological properties was found, we tried to locally expand it into the largest possible valid region. We applied this methodology in an effort to model and better understand the complex network regulating iron homeostasis in mammalian cells. This system plays an important role in many biological functions, including erythropoiesis, resistance against infections, and proliferation of cancer cells.Comment: In Proceedings HSB 2012, arXiv:1208.315

Mapping Out the Licensure Examination for Fisheries Graduates

One of the factors that contributes to the status of an educational institution is the quality of its former students and faculty members. The purpose of this research was to track down former students who had completed their Bachelor of Science in Fisheries degrees at the Cagayan State University in Aparri. During the process of carrying out the study, the research method known as descriptive analysis was put into practice. A good example of the descriptive method of research would be a factfinding study that offered an acceptable and accurate interpretation of the data. The graduate students who took part in the survey were under the notion that the instructional methods utilized by the faculty involved the application of pertinent learning strategies such as positive attitude and critical thinking. The respondents believe that practicing is the single most important step in the process of getting ready for the license examination. Those who had already attended graduate school among the respondents believed that a general education curriculum ought to be regarded essential for passing the LEFT. On the other hand, they argued that the major courses should be seen as having the utmost significance, while NSTP and PE should be regarded as having some significance. Respondents were under the assumption that they were expected to do seatwork, quizzes, major examinations, recitations, assignments, oral and written reports, and portfolios in order to pass the course

PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA MELALUI MOTIVASI KARAKTER UTAMA DALAM FILM BERBAHASA INGGRIS ‘UP’ (SEBUAH PENDEKATAN PSIKOLOGI)

Tujuan studi pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan jenis-jenis motivas karakter utama dan cara untuk bertahan hidup dalam film Up. Dalam penelitian ini, metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menggambarkan ucapan dan tindakan dari tokoh. Pendekatan psikologis diterapkan untuk menganalisis jenis-jenis motivasi dan cara untuk bertahan hidup. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis jenis-jenis motivasi adalah teori yang diusulkan oleh Runyon (1984), sedangkan untuk menganalisis cara untuk bertahan hidup, teori yang diusulkan oleh McClleand (1987) yang dipakai.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada empat jenis motivasi yaitu  motivasi intrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik, motivasi kontributif, dan motivasi relasional. Developing OCEAN as a Game based on English Learning in teaching Vocabulary

Abstract This study applied Research and Development (R&D) study which developed game application based English learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the leaner’s vocabulary and reduce their anxiety in mastering English. Vocational maritime students had problem in memorizing vocabularies and based on the result of need analysis, they need a media that can ease them in learning English. This study followed some steps in developing the game application, those were; assessing need analysis, writing performance objective, instructional strategy’s development, instructional materials’ development and selection, implementation of formative and summative evaluation. The instrument of this study were questionnaire and interview to gain students response in need analysis process and in evaluation. OCEAN can catch the learner’s attention and decrease their anxiety in learning English. Most of students agree if the game improves their motivation and they can enjoy playing the game. The development of this game as an educational game has good impact and responses even though some improvements are needed

Tingkat Kepuasan Mahasiswa Terhadap Pelayanan Akademik Pada Program Diploma Pelayaran Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya

Variabel dalam penelitian ini ada satu yaitu kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan akademik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif di Fakultas Program Diploma Pelayaran Surabaya yang berjumlah 100 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner untuk mendapatkan skor kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan akademik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menjawab rumusan masalah. Melalui metode dan analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan akademik pada Fakultas Program Diploma Pelayaran Surabaya adalah mahasiswa yang berada dalam kategori tinggi adalah 20 orang dengan persentasi 20%, dan yang berada dalam kategori sedang adalah 72 orang dengan persentasi 72%, sedangkan dengan kategori rendah adalah 8 orang dengan persentase 8%. Dengan demikian tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan akademik pada Fakultas Program Diploma Pelayaran Surabaya berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 72 mahasiswa dengan persentasi 72%. &nbsp
