Latex Modified Cement Composites

Předmětem disertační práce je studium fyzikálně-mechanických vlastností a tvorba prototypu samorozlivného, polymercementového kompozitu z oblasti ternárního pojivového systému PC-CAC-CS modifikovaného chemickými přísadami (aditivy) a polymerními látkami. Práce systematicky popisuje ve čtyřech krocích optimalizaci kompozitu s ohledem na jeho klíčové vlastnosti. Experimentální práce byla zaměřena na sledování vlivu složek kompozitu na vybrané výsledné vlastnosti a pro hlubší pochopení vlivů jednotlivých komponent systému byly prozkoumány základní fyzikálně-mechanické a strukturní vlastnosti a jejich případné závislosti (pevnost v tlaku, porozita, tokové vlastnosti, doby tuhnutí). Jako doplňkové metody studia byly na vybraných kombinacích použity metody kvantifikující existenci nově vzniklého hydratačního produktu – ettringitu (XRD, SEM s EDS, kalorimetrie, dilatometrie). Na základě systematického postupu za využití zkušebních postupů a měřících metod byl úspěšně vyvinut funkční prototyp samorozlivného, polymercementového kompozitu.The subject of dissertation is a study of physic-mechanical properties and development of self-leveling polymer-cement composite of the ternary binder system PC-CAC-CS modified with chemical additives and polymeric substances. The dissertation systematically describes a four-step optimalization of the composite considering its key properties. Experimental part has been focused on monitoring the impact of composite components on selected final properties. Basic physico-mechanical, structural properties and its relations (compressive strength, porosity, flow abilities, setting times) have been analyzed for deeper understanding of the effects of individual composite components. Methods which quantify the existence of the newly formed hydration product – ettringite (XRD, SEM with EDS, calorimetry, dilatometry) has been chosen as additional study methods on selected combinations. A working prototype of self-leveling polymer-cement composite was successfully developed based on systematic process and using of testing procedures and measuring methods.

Equational description of pseudovarieties of homomorphisms

The notion of pseudovarieties of homomorphisms onto finite monoids was recently introduced by Straubing as an algebraic characterization for certain classes of regular languages. In this paper we provide a mechanism of equational description of these pseudovarieties based on an appropriate generalization of the notion of implicit operations. We show that the resulting metric monoids of implicit operations coincide with the standard ones, the only difference being the actual interpretation of pseudoidentities. As an example, an equational characterization of the pseudovariety corresponding to the class of regular languages in AC0 is given

EU-Euphoria or EU-Scepticism? Contemplation on the Membership of the Czech Republic in the European Union

Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt das Thema der europäische Integration und der Beziehungen der Tschechischen Republik zur europäischen Strukturen. Autor beschäftigt sich mit der Geschichte der Integrationsprozesse in Europa (von den antiken Anfängen bis zur Ratifizierung des Vertrags von Lisabon). Im nächsten Kapitel folgt Verzeichnis der historischen Bemühungen des Tschechischen Staates um die Integration ins Europa. Der folgende Teil beschäftigt sich mit der Ansicht der Gesellschaft von der Integration, Bewertung der Europawahl, mit der Einstellung der Medien zur europäischen Fragen. Ein wichtiger Teil der Arbeit ist die Umfrage unter den Studierenden an der philosophischen Fakultät der Universität Pardubice.Předložená práce se zabývá tématem evropské integrace a vztahu české republiky ke strukturám Evropské unie. Autor se zabývá historií integračních procesů v Evropě (od antických počátků po ratifikace Lisabonské smlouvy). V další kapitole následuje výčet historických snah českého státu o začlenění do Evropy. Následující část je zaměřena na pohledy společnosti na fenomén integrace, rozbor voleb do Evropského parlamentu, obraz a přístup médií k evropanským otázkám. Důležitou část práce tvoří dotazníkové šetření mezi studenty Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Pardubice.The presented work deals with the topic of European integration and relations between the Czech Republic and the European Union structures. The author discusses the history of integration processes in Europe (from the ancient beginnings to the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty). The next chapter, followed by a list of historical efforts of the state of integration into Europe. The following section focuses on the views of the phenomenon of integration, the analysis of European Parliament elections, images and media access to European issues.
