Effect of an alternate winglet on the pressure and spanwise load distributions of a first generation jet transport wing

Pressure and spanwise load distributions on a first-generation jet transport semispan model at subsonic speeds are presented. The wind tunnel data were measured for the wing with and without an alternate winglet. The results show that the winglet affected outboard wing pressure distributions and increased the spanwise loads near the tip

A security analysis of a recently proposed secure communication scheme based on the phase synchronization of chaotic systems is presented. En este ensayo, hacemos un ejercicio de vinculaci\uf3n conceptual entre el paradigma del Desarrollo Humano y el papel de las Organizaciones No Gubernamentales (ONG). Tiene como prop\uf3sito presentar las tendencias te\uf3ricas conceptuales sobre Desarrollo Humano y ONG que dan paso a la consolidaci\uf3n del tejido social, contribuyen a fortalecer la democracia, coadyuvan a la participaci\uf3n social y construyen redes de ciudadanos a partir del Capital Social. Entre las reflexiones destaca la relaci\uf3n entre la expansi\uf3n de las oportunidades y libertades planteadas en el paradigma del Desarrollo Humano que considera a las personas como el centro del desarrollo al expandir oportunidades para que estas alcancen sus objetivos valiosos en contextos de equidad, sustentabilidad y participaci\uf3n, en los que de alguna manera se vinculan las ONG como instancias capaces de aglutinar actores de la sociedad civil en aras de alcanzar metas comunes. SUMMARY In this essay, we make an exercise of conceptual linking between the paradigm of Human Development and the role of NonGovernmental Organizations (NGO). Its purpose is to present the conceptual theoretical tendencies on Human Development and NGOs that give way to the consolidation of the social net, contribute to strengthen democracy, subscribe to social participation and build networks of citizens based on Social Capital. Among the reflections highlights the relationship between the expansion of opportunities and freedoms raised in the Human Development paradigm that considers people as the center of development to expand opportunities for them to achieve their valuable objectives in contexts of equity, sustainability and participation, in which somehow NGOs are linked as instances capable of uniting actors of civil society in order to reach common goals. Nous proposons presenter les tendances th\ue9oriques conceptuelles sur le D\ue9veloppement Humain et ONG qui font avancer vers la consolidation du tissu social, ils contribuent a fortifier la democratie, en contribuant a la participation sociale en construisant des r\ue9seaux de citoyens a partir du Capital Social.
