La crisis del amor en la democracia burguesa: Pensando con bell hooks desde una perspectiva feminista
Este estudo parte de uma perspectiva crítica sobre a democracia burguesa quando entende a impossibilidade da resolução da crise do amor, que assola as relações sociais entre sujeitos e entre sociedade e Estado, no modo de produção capitalista. A estratégia metodológica se deu a partir da revisão de literatura sobre os temas aqui entrecruzados: a democracia burguesa, o amor, e as contribuições de bell hooks (1984, 2020, 2021) para pensar formas de enfrentamento a esse sistema que atenta contra a dignidade humana.This study starts from a critical perspective on bourgeois democracy when it understands the impossibility of resolving the crisis of love, which devastates social relations between subjects and between society and the State, in the capitalist mode of production. The methodological strategy was based on a literature review on the themes intertwined here: bourgeois democracy, love, and the contributions of bell hooks (1984, 2020, 2021) to think of ways to face this system that attacks human dignity.Este estudio parte de una perspectiva crítica sobre la democracia burguesa cuando comprende la imposibilidad de resolver la crisis del amor, que devasta las relaciones sociales entre sujetos y entre sociedad y Estado, en el modo de producción capitalista. Match-up strategies and fuzzy robust scheduling for a complex dynamic real world job shop scheduling problem
This thesis investigate a complex real world job shop scheduling / rescheduling problem, in which the presence of uncertainties and the occurrence of disruptions are tackled to produce efficient and reliable solutions. New orders arrive every day in the shop floor and they have to be integrated in the existent schedule. Match-up algorithms are introduced to collect the idle time on machines and accommodate these newly arriving orders. Their aim is to obtain new schedules with good performance which are at the same time highly stable, meaning that they resemble as closely as possible the initial schedule. Subsequently, a novel approach that combines these algorithms with a fuzzy robust scheduling system is proposed. The goal is to associate an effective repairing mechanism with the production of initial robust schedules that are able to facilitate the accommodation of future disruptions. Statistical analyses reveal that match-up algorithms are effective repairing strategies for managing complex disruptions, in which high quality stable schedules are delivered. Moreover, their combination with fuzzy robust scheduling has a positive effect on responding to these disruptions leading to even more reliable solutions in a real world dynamic and uncertain shop floor

Copa do mundo 2014: para que? E para quem? Um estudo sobre a percepção do brasileiro sobre os principais objetivos e público-alvo envolvidos no planejamento de um megaevento esportivo
Trata esse artigo da discussão sobre o principal pressuposto dentro da estrutura organizacional de eventos, que é a definição de público e objetivo. Questões como “Para que?” e “Para quem?” são cruciais para o sucesso de um evento. A proximidade da Copa do Mundo de 2014 no Brasil, intensifica o envolvimento das pessoas com a competição. No entanto, nem sempre o discurso corresponde ao verdadeiro sentido de que trata o planejamen- to de um evento nessas proporções. Será que o brasileiro tem conhecimento de quais são as finalidades e para quem está sendo realizado esse evento? Qual o olhar do cidadão sem conhecimento técnico de como se dá todo o processo de estruturação de um megaevento esportivo? Além de revisão teórica conceitual sobre o tema, um questionário quantitativo, aplicado através de redes sociais, busca perceber esses olhares externos à organização. Mass and heat transfer to and from oil shale exposed to a gas stream at constant temperature
The Irati Formation located in Southern Brazil is the worldâs second largest resource of oil shale from which shale oil has been produced by Petrobras, a Brazilian state-owned oil company, by the Petrosix® process. The shale plant was sold to a private company in November 2022. This study analyses the mass and heat transfer between oil shale particles and a gas medium by mathematical modelling using Fortran programs, focusing on the temperature and moisture gradients within the shale particles. It also carries out parametric sensitivity analysis regarding shale thermal conductivity, heat transfer coefficient, effective mass diffusivity, shale density and size. The particle size and effective mass diffusivity have a great impact on heat and mass transfer
