    Developing Students’ Creativity through Computer Simulation Based Learning in Quantum Physics Learning

    ABSTRACT This study aims to analyses the effect of Phet computer simulation to the students' creativity increasing in Quantum Physics Learning. There were 120 students as the subject in physics education department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of State University of Makassar. A pre-test and post-test creativity experimental design was used during which students were randomly assigned into either the experimental or the control group. Interview sheet, observation sheet, and questionnaire were used to obtain quantitative data. The results of the research indicate that there are significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in terms of creativity. Interview result shown that student whose was learned by computer simulation based learning believes that it helped them to improve their creativity in term of quantum subject. The students in the experimental group showed that they prefer to use learning tool namely software and it can help lecturer in teaching quantum physics. These findings support the idea that the students majoring at physics education should be trained in the use of computer simulations to improve their creativity. This puts a responsibility of the educational authorities for the procurement of computer simulation software to be used in teaching physics and other science subjects in University.     This study aims to examine Whether there is a significant influence of variable humanresources competency, leadership, utilization of information technology, internal control of thequality of financial statements either partially or simultaneously. The population in this researchis all work units (SATKER) within the Directorate General of Construction Materials for 15 unitsof work with 45 respondents consisting of a financial assistance of the work unit, the Accountingofficer of Accrual Based Institution (SAIBA) and State-Owned Officer (BMN).     Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dampak merariq terhadap masyarakat suku sasak di Desa Rumak Kecamatan Kediri Lombok Barat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah, wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dampak merariq terhadap masyarakat suku sasak di Desa Rumak , ada dampak positif dan negatif. Dampak positif merariq terhadap masyarakat sebagai berikut: merupakan sebuah prestise atau wibawa kepada seorang perempuan, menunjukkan kesatrian seorang laki-laki terhadap wanita, melestarikan budaya Sasak yang dilakukan secara turun temurun.     ABSTRACT: Shorffin Scad, Decapterus macrosoma Bleeker, 1851 is one of the fish resource found in South Sulawesi waters, which at the moment is being commercially exploded by mini purse seine. This study was conducted to campare the morfometric and meristic character of Decapterus macrosoma from Makassar Strait and Bone Bay, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The necessary data and information of fish specimens were collected from November 2012 to December 2012; 60 specimens specimens were collected from Makassar Strait and 60 specimens from Bone Bay.     Ballistic limit prediction on nacre shell using numerical simulation approach

    An investigation has been carried out to predict the ballistic limit velocity for blunt and hemispherical projectile using mesh sensitivity technique analysis. The finite element simulation is done using ANSYS Explicit Dynamics software. The Drucker-Prager material model is employed to predict the ballistic limit velocity since it is suitable for brittle material properties. Meshing with various cube element sizes are used to predict the ballistic limit velocity for projectiles. The initial impact velocity is set at 50m/s to obtain the graph of residual velocity against a number of the element for the blunt and hemispherical projectile. The stable mesh sizing for blunt projectile is taken at residual velocity of 43.82m/s, while the stable mesh sizing for hemispherical projectile is taken at residual velocity of 44.47m/s. The results of ballistic limit velocity for blunt and hemispherical projectiles are 7.5m/s and 12.5m/s respectively. The ballistic limit velocity for hemispherical projectile is 10% higher than the blunt projectile, due to the hemispherical projectile tensile damage whereas the blunt projectile created a shear failure
