TINJAUAN PERENCANAAN PONDASI TIANG PANCANG PADA PELABUHAN INTERNATIONAL HUB PORT SABANG DENGAN METODE TOMLINSON-BROMS DAN PROGRAM PLAXIS
ABSTRAKPondasi merupakan suatu bagian terbawah dari suatu konstruksi bangunan yang berfungsi untuk meneruskan beban bangunan ke tanah dasar. Daya dukung pondasi adalah hal yang paling penting dalam konstruksi pelabuhan. International Hub Port Sabang merupakan suatu kawasan yang sangat strategis untuk Provinsi Aceh khususnya dan Indonesia pada umumnya sebagai jalur sentra perdagangan internasional. Ilmu dasar geoteknik sangat dibutuhkan dalam merencanakan suatu pelabuhan untuk mendapatkan suatu konstruksi bangunan yang aman. Pada dermaga ini digunakan pondasi tiang pancang tempat meyalurkan seluruh beban dermaga atau disebut dengan sistem deck on pile. Tinjauan perencanaan ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan sebuah model terbaik dalam merancang sebuah dermaga dengan memperhatikan daya dukung tanah. Dalam perencanaan ini diambil dermaga CT-3 yang merupakan dermaga terbesar di International Hub Port Sabang. Plaxis merupakan sebuah software yang dapat menganalisis terjadinya deformasi dan stabilitas untuk berbagai aplikasi dalam bidang geoteknik, seperti daya dukung tanah, defleksi dan penurunan. Pada program plaxis dapat dihasilkan penurunan, deformasi dan arah pergerakan tanah. Penurunan, deformasi dan daya dukung izin berdasarkan safety factor yang merupakan output dari program plaxis harus diperhatikan. Dermaga CT-3 memiliki beban maksimun pada tiang pancang sebesar 669,07 ton. Pada perhitungan dengan metode Tomlinson-Broms diperoleh daya dukung izin (Qall) sebesar 671,893 ton. Perencanaan konstruksi aman karena Qall lebih besar daripada beban maksimum. Penurunan dari perhitungan metode Tomlinson-Broms sebesar 0,43 cm, penurunan lebih kecil dari batas toleransi yaitu 2,54 cm dandefleksi pada dermaga sebesar 16,4 cm. Sedangkan pada output plaxis diperoleh penurunan sebesar 5 cm, pada keadaan maksimum penurunan dapat mencapai 41,3 cm dan untuk defleksi sebesar 14,6 cm. Dari hasil perhitungan dan output plaxis perlu dilakukan perubahan dimensi kedalaman dan diameter tiang untuk menstabilkan konstruksi dermaga. Untuk mendapatkan daya dukung yang aman, kedalaman yang disarankan adalah 12 m dari dasar laut dengan diameter tiang pancang sebesar 1,3 m. Penerapan Metode Peer Group Teaching dalam Proses Pembelajaran Biologi untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Makassar (Applying of Peer Group Teaching Method in Process of Biology Learning to Improve Activity and Result of Student Learning Class X SMA Negeri 3 Makassar)
This research is including pre experiment with aim to know improvement of activity of biological learning and improvement result of learning through applying of method peer group teaching. Research is done in class X SMA Negeri 3 Makassar at school year odd semester 2008/2009. Research design applied is pretest and post test group design. Before study with method peer group teaching, student is given pretest to know initial ability of student. Research data in the form of student activity is gathered by using observation sheet and data result of learning is gathered by using test result of learning is in the form of multiple choice. Data activity is analysed qualitatively while data result of pretest and post test is analysed with t-test. Result of research indicates that there are improvement significant between result of student learning before and after applying of method peer group teaching as well as existence of improvement of activity of student during study takes place
Nilai-Nilai Religiusitas Adat Mo Me’ati pada Masyarakat Kota Gorontalo (Replika Islam Nusantara)
This study aims to make a comprehensive study on the phenomenon of behavior and perception of Gorontalo society to Mome’ati tradition (pledge) as the tradition of Gorontalo society in general, and especially the people of Gorontalo city, which is still maintained, and study of the aspects of religiosity of Mome’ati custom in society of Gorontalo city. This research is a field research and the data was collected using observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and documentation. The results of this study reveals that there are some steps in mome’ati tradition which doing it. These steps conveys a meaning of religiosity that is in line with the Islamic law. This is one of the local tradition of Gorontalo which has been already assimilated in Islamic values. The implication of this this study can expand and enrich information about local Islamic tradition in Indonesia
Earthquake Safety Analysis of an Historical Masonry Building
In this study, how to study the earthquake safety of an Historical Masonry Residence that has wall damages because of soil sitting is shown. Restitution and restoration projects of the building are used in the analysis in addition to the site observation and research. The building has a basement, a ground floor, a normal floor and a half roof floor. The all walls of the basement and the outer walls of the other floors are made of stones. Inner walls are wood members. Stresses at the structural members are calculated by SAP2000 v.15 program. Planar stress analysis is made by SAP2000 v.15 program for ultimate loads. Structural members of building are modeled as shell member after the material properties are determined. Sittings of the building are considered as support settlement in the analysis. It is seen that most of the calculated stresses are lower than the limit stresses given in Turkish Seismic Code and only the basement walls have high stresses. Investigating the Behaviour of Plaster Mortared Rural Masonry Walls
Turkey is located on the Alpine-Himalayan earthquake zone. %92 of its land is faced with
earthquake hazard. Even in low intensity earthquakes, major damages have been observed in
masonry structures. Masonry structures which are built without any technical support constitute
the %40-45 of the structures in Turkey. Therefore, these structures cause losses of lives and
remarkable economic in earthquakes. Studies on earthquake resistant structural designs focus on
reinforced concrete and steel structures. Researches on masonry structures which are especially
preferred in rural areas in Turkey. However, earthquakes negatively affect the masonry structures
more than reinforced concrete and steel ones. In the scope of this study, behavior of plaster
mixed walls which increase the strength of masonry structures is studied. For this purpose,
strength values of normal plaster mixed regular walls with blend bricks and polypropylene and
steel fiber mixed masonry walls are analyzed. Double-row and 45x45 mm sized normal mortared
wall which is specially produced by 1:2 scaled blend bricks having 100x50x30 mm size values
and walls that are formed by polypropylene and steel fiber additives are exposed to biaxial load
in several angles. Stress-envelope equations are obtained due to strength of masonry walls
bonded by plaster mixed blend bricks. Obtained curves make an important contribution to
determine the realistic behavior of polypropylene and steel fiber plastered masonry walls
Pengaruh Pembelajaran Integrasi Problem Based Learning Dan Kooperatif Jigsaw Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis
Pengaruh Pembelajaran Integrasi Problem Based Learning dan Kooperatif Jigsaw terhadapKeterampilan Berpikir Kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh 4 jenis strategi pembelajaranyaitu integrasi PBL dan kooperatif Jigsaw, PBL, kooperatif Jigsaw, dan konvensional terhadappeningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa berkemampuan akademik berbeda pada perkuliahanBiologi Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian eksperimen semu pretest-postest nonequivalentcontrol group design pola faktorial 4 x 2. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 jenis strategipembelajaran, sedangkan kemampuan akademik (bawah dan atas) sebagai variabel moderator. Variabel terikatnyaadalah peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diukur menggunakan tes pemahaman konsepBiologi Dasar terintegrasi. Data dianalisis dengan anakova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa padaperkuliahan Biologi Dasar: (1) strategi pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikirkritis mahasiswa, dan pengaruh tertinggi terjadi jika dibelajarkan dengan strategi integrasi PBLJigsaw,sedangkan peningkatan pada ketiga strategi yang lain relatif sama; (2) kemampuan akademik tidakberpengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis, artinya mahasiswa berkemampuan atas danbawah sama-sama memperoleh peningkatan ketrampilan berpikir kritis yang relativ sama; dan (3) interaksiantara strategi pembelajaran dan kemampuan akademik tidak berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilanberpikir kritis mahasiswa
Perancangan Dan Perakitan Modulator FSK 9600 Baud Untuk Perangkat Transmiter Payload Satelit IINUSAT-01
Tren disain sistem komunikasi satelit setelah debut selama hampir setengah abad silih berganti bagaikan sebuah negara dengan 100 musim. Tren disain satelit yang sudah lama muncul namun tetap hangat diperbincangkan adalah satelit dengan ukuran mini, yaitu micro dan nano satelit. Menyusutkan ukuran juga berarti menyusutkan biaya pembuatan dan juga operasional dari sebuah satelit. Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara yang potensial untuk dapat memanfaatkan layanan komunikasi satelit tidak mau ketinggalan dalam mengembangkan teknologi ini. Melalui program Indonesian Nano Satellite Platform Initiative for Research and Education (INSPIRE) Indonesia mencoba mengembangkan satelit ilmiah nano yang dimulai dari proyek IiNUSAT-01. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perakitan perangkat modulator payload komunikasi IiNUSAT-01 yang memiliki kecepatan transfer data sebesar 9600 bps (baud) dengan tipe modulasi FSK. Perangkat modulator dirancang agar dapat memodulasi sinyal carrier dengan deviasi frekuensi tertentu sesuai dengan masukan sinyal logic informasi. Melalui proses disain analitis, perakitan dan pengujian alat, didapatkan sebuah perangkat modulator FSK 9600 baud berbasis IC tranceiver ADF7021-N. Perangkat modulator ini dapat memodulasi frekuensi sinyal carrier pada sisi downlink IiNUSAT-01 (436.915 MHz) dengan deviasi frekuensi ± 1.08 kHz
Evaluation of Existing Reinforced Concrete Buildings with Structural Package Programs
Seismic performances of the structures shall be investigated due to lack of strength,
seismic forces and change of intended purpose. Package softwares are developed to perform the
complicated performance analyses easily. However, engineers must investigate the efficiency of
these softwares. In this study, three different packaged softwares are used to compare the linear
performance analyses according to Turkish Seismic Code-2007. Since non-linear performance
analysis methods are not available in all programs, it is not taken into consideration in the scope
of this study.
Linear performance analysis of five different reinforced concrete (R/C) structures such as
column-beam frame systems and systems with shear walls are analyzed and seismic
performances are obtained. Furthermore, performance values are inclusively compared with
figures. The reasons of the differences are presented. With the analyses, r values differ from each
other. The main reason of this situation is the difference in remnant moment and efficient
moment values. Modeling techniques also affect this case. According to the results, seismic
performances of structures that have basic geometry, small sections and less irregularities are
close each other. On the other hand, the results become different with the irregularity. Especially,
seismic performances of the structures with shear walls differ from each other due to the various
acceptances
