Penerapan Model Mind Mapping Pada Pembelajaran Mengarang Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Pada Siswa Kelas IPP SD Negeri 02 Jenawi Karanganyar Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mengarang siswa dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan model mind mapping pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri 02 Jenawi Kecamatan Jenawi Jenawi Kabupaten Karanganyar tahun
pelajaran 2012 / 2013. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menggunakan model siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri 02 Jenawi kecamatan Jenawi kabupaten Karanganyar dengan jumlah siswa 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan teknik tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan simpulan atau verivikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas tindakan guru selama pembelajaran 2 siklus tentang mengarang dengan model mind mapping meliputi aspek : (1) Aspek isi karangan; (2) Organisasi karangan; (3) Kosa kata karangan, (4) Pengembangan aspek kebahasaan terbukti hasil belajar siswa
meningkat, dari 20 siswa hanya 2 siswa belum mencapai taraf ketuntasan atau kurang lebih 10 %, sedangkan siswa tuntas 18 siswa atau 80%. Setelah diberikan treatment melalui penerapan model mind mapping nilai formatif siswa meningkat,
yakni dari 4 siswa yang belum tuntas, telah berkurang tinggal 2 siswa atau 10 %. Pada penelitian ini hasil peningkatan dari kondisi awal sampai dengan akhir adalah
40% Jadi dalam penelitian ini hipotesis tindakan “ Pembelajaran dengan model Mind Mapping (pemetaan pikiran) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mengarang dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas III SDN 02 Jenawi, Kabupaten Karanganyar Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013” dapat terbukti dan terjawab kebenarannya

Vitamin A and iron supplementation of Indonesian pregnant women benefits vitamin A status of their infants
Many Indonesian infants have an inadequate nutritional status, which may be due in part to inadequate maternal nutrition during pregnancy. This study was designed to investigate whether infant nutritional status could be improved by maternal vitamin A and Fe supplementation during gestation. Mothers of these infants from five villages had been randomly assigned on an individual basis, supervised and double-blind, to receive supplementation once weekly from approximately 18 weeks of pregnancy until delivery. Supplementation comprised 120 mg Fe and 500 μg folic acid with or without 4800 retinol equivalent vitamin A. Mothers of infants from four other villages who participated in the national Fe and folic acid supplementation programme were also recruited; intake of tablets was not supervised. Anthropometric and biochemical parameters of infants and their mothers were assessed approximately 4 months after delivery. Infants of mothers supplemented with vitamin A plus Fe had higher serum retinol concentrations than infants of mothers supplemented with Fe alone. However, the proportion of infants with serum retinol concentrations 70 n all groups. Maternal and infant serum retinol concentrations were correlated. Fe status, weight and length of infants were similar in all groups. Fe status of girls was better than that of boys, but boys were heavier and longer. We conclude that supplementation with vitamin A in conjunction with Fe supplementation of women during pregnancy benefits vitamin A status of their infants. However, considering the large proportion of infants with marginal serum retinol concentrations, it may still be necessary to increase their vitamin A intake
Efektivitas Program Fortifikasi Minyak Goreng dengan Vitamin A terhadap Status Gizi Anak Sekolah di Kota Makasar
Vitamin A deficiency (VAD) remains as one of significant public health problems in Indonesia. Around 50% of under five children are suffering from subclinical VAD. Deficiency of vitamin A will affect several important role in the body, such as immune system, vision, reproductive system and cell differentiation. Therefore, guarding Indonesian children to be free from VAD is crucial for their quality as Human Resources. We assessed the impact of the consumption of vitamin A fortified cooking oil on the improvement of vitamin A and hemoglobin status among school children in urban slum area in Makassar City. The study was an intervention design Before-After. Healthy school children 7-10 years were selected from schools and de-wormed before the intervention. Serum retinol and hemoglobin was measured at baseline and at 3 months after. Fortified oil was made available through distribution at shops and accompanied with social marketing. Eventhough overall there was no change in VAD prevalence, the VAD prevalence is lower among children who consumedfortified oil ³12 weeks (26.6%) compared to those who consumed <12 weeks (42%). Prevalence of anemia decreased from 21.8% to 11.6%. We recommended that fortified oil is made mandatory
Nutrition of Indonesian women during pregnancy and lactation: a focus on vitamin A and iron
Nutrition during pregnancy is important for women's health, outcome of pregnancy and child survival. A community-based study was conducted in a rural area of West Java, Indonesia to investigate 1) the effect of weekly vitamin A and iron supplementation during pregnancy on iron and vitamin A status of women near term and on postpartum and pregnancy outcomes, 2) whether weekly iron supplementation was as effective as the ongoing national iron supplementation program in improving iron status. Women from 5 villages, 16 - 20 weeks pregnant, aged 17 - 35 years, parity <6, and with hemoglobin concentrations 80 - 140 g/L, were randomly allocated on an individual basis to receive a weekly supplement either with 120 mg iron as Fe 2 SO 4 and 500μg folic acid (n = 121) or the same amount of iron and folic acid plus 4,800 RE vitamin A (n = 122). A third group participating in the ongoing national iron supplementation program in which women are advised to take iron tablets daily during pregnancy ("daily" group) was recruited at the same time from 4 neighboring villages (n = 123). At near term, the iron status of pregnant women in the group supplemented weekly with iron (n = 66) was not different from the "daily" group (n = 53). However, iron status decreased with daily iron supplementation if <50 iron tablets were ingested. Hemoglobin concentrations in the group supplemented weekly with iron and vitamin A (n = 71) increased but serum ferritin concentrations decreased significantly, suggesting that vitamin A improved utilization of iron for hematopoiesis. Concentrations of serum transferrin receptor increased significantly in all groups. Serum retinol concentrations remained constant in the weekly iron and vitamin A group but decreased significantly in the other two groups. At4 months postpartum, compared with the weekly iron group (n = 88), the weekly iron and vitamin A group (n = 82) had significantly fewer subjects with serum retinol concentrations≤0.70μmol/L. The iron status of women in the weekly iron and vitamin A group did not differ from that of women in the weekly iron group. The concentrations of iron and retinol in transitional milk (4 - 7 days postpartum) was almost double than that in mature milk (3 months postpartum). Compared with the weekly iron group, the weekly iron and vitamin A group had significantly higher concentrations of retinol in transitional milk (asμmol/L) and in mature milk (asμmol/g fat). Neonatal weight (3094 ± 440 g) and length (49.1 ± 2.0 cm) did not differ among the three groups (n = 296). Iron and vitamin A status during pregnancy did not influence neonatal weight and length. Gestational age, maternal weight at the beginning of the second trimester and infant gender were the main predictors of neonatal weight and length. The proportion of women with a body mass index≤21.0 kg/m² was 37% at the beginning of the second trimester of pregnancy and 52% at4 months postpartum. Low nutritional status of the women was associated with household characteristics reflecting a lower socioeconomic status. In conclusion, compared with weekly supplementation with iron alone, supplementation with vitamin A and iron given at the time when women entered their second trimester of pregnancy prevented the deterioration of vitamin A status near term and4 month postpartum, and increased retinol concentration in breast milk. The performance of weekly iron supplementation did not differ from the ongoing daily iron supplementation program in improving the iron status during pregnancy and lactation. Intervention did not influence weight and length of the neonates. It is recommended to include vitamin A in the iron supplementation program.</p
PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM (IPA) TERPADU DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII MTS NURURRODHIYAH
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan LKS IPA terpadu berbasis Saintifik terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakn penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu metode untuk menguji efektivitas dan efinsiasi dari suatu pendekatan, metode, teknik, atau media pengajaran dan pembelajaran, sehingga hasilnya bisa diterapkan jika memang baik, atau tidak digunakan jika memang tidak baik dalam pengajaran yang sebenarnya. Populasi yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Nururrodhiyah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 29 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal, dari soal yang digunakan dapat diperoleh nilai rata-rata Sebelum ditentukan sampel dilakukan uji homogenitas , setelah dinyatakan homogen, dilanjutkan dengan teknik random dan didapatkan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil rata-rata post test kelas kontrol sebesar 77,4 dan standar deviasi 10,87. Hasil rata-rata post test kelas eksperimen sebesar 67,8 dan standar deviasi 13,2. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji “t”tes. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh to = lebih besar dari ttabel (baik pada taraf signifikan 5% ataupun 1% ), berarti Ho ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar biologi siswa yang menggunakan pendektaan saintifik lebih baik
Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada PT. Mattel Indonesia Bagian Material Handler Di Jababeka
This study aimed to determine the influence of leadership and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Mattel Indonesia in the material handler section at Jababeka. This study employed a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The total sample was 51 respondents. The research method was quantitative with a sampling technique using a proportional random sampling technique. The data were analyzed using the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, t-test and f-test, and the coefficient of determination. The hypothesis was processed using SPSS for Windows version. The study’s results showed that leadership positively and significantly influenced employee performance with sig 0,009 and t value 2,702. Work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Mattel Indonesia in the material handler section at Jababeka with sig 0,000 and t value 4,942. Leadership simultaneously positively and significantly influenced employee performance up to 13,0% and work discipline simultaneously had a positive and significant on employee performance up to 33,3% at PT. Mattel Indonesia in the material handler section at Jababeka with sig 0,000 and f value 12,053. Leadership and work discipline are able explain employee performance variable up to 33.4% and 66.6%, was explained by other factors not included in this study
Junior High School Students’ Perception of the Using Fun Easy Learn Application in Vocabulary Learning
Vocabulary is the most basic element that must be possessed in mastering and developing the four language skills. However, vocabulary acquisition is difficult for many EFL students in Indonesia. Faced with this situation, the role of English teachers is needed to find and implement new and different learning methods or strategies, so that vocabulary learning in the classroom becomes interesting learning for students. The purpose of this study is to explain the perceptions of EFL English students towards the use of a mobile application called Fun Easy Learn application and to find out the students' perceptions about the level of effectiveness of this application in learning English vocabulary in the classroom. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data collection was done by using questionnaires through Google form then supported by interviews on the topic of students' perceptions of the usefulness and effectiveness of Fun Easy Learn application. Data analysis was done by frequency calculation and content analysis. This study was conducted in a private junior high school, SMP Al-Hidayah Medan, Indonesia. The participants in this study were 28 ninth grade students (17 boys and 11 girls). The results of data analysis were conducted through frequency calculation and content analysis which resulted in that most of the students' perceptions were happy and satisfied with the use of Fun Easy Learn app in vocabulary learning. Because by using Fun Easy Learn app they find: (1) Motivation; (2) Learning is not boring and stressful; (3) Helps understand and improve vocabulary; (4) Learning can extend the duration of learning time; and (5) Easy to navigate the Fun Easy Learn application. They also expressed the perception that Fun Easy Learn app is effective in learning English vocabulary, the emergence of this perception is because students find the benefits of this app namely (1) Improve memory; (2) Mastery of English vocabulary; and (3) Have an interest in learning English vocabulary. Students who participated generally expressed positive perceptions of the Fun Easy Learn application. Based on the results of this study, the researcher can recommend Fun Easy Learn application as a mobile application that can be used by English teachers as a learning media in English classes
Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif Anak Melalui Media Pembelajaran Balok Di Kelompok B TKIT Tunas Mulia
Kegiatan penelitian pembelajaran yang dilakukan di TKIT Tunas Mulia ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui media balok. Subyek yang diteliti adalah kelompok B yang berjumlah 16 anak terdiri dari 9 anak laki-laki dan 7 anak perempuan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah tanya jawab, demonstrasi dan pemberian tugas, instrument penilaian yang digunakan adalah ceklis, observasi dan hasil karya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan kognitif pada anak melalui media balok, hal ini dapat dilihat pada prasiklus anak belum tampak kreatif, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi baik dan pada siklus II semakin baik, Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dengan media menggunakan balok yaitu anak dikenalkan bentuk-bentuk balok, besar kecil, tinggi rendah, panjang pendek, dan mencipta atau berkreasi dari balok dan membangun dengan balok menggunakan asesoris. Kemudian anak mengkomunikasikan hasil kreasi yang dibuat kepada teman-temannya.Kata Kunci : Kemampuan kognitif, Media pembelajaran balo
Peran usaha dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat : studi pada usaha tahu HM di Desa Sukolilan Kecamatan Patebon Kabupaten Kendal
Muslimatun Khasanah (NIM 1901046045). Peran Usaha Dalam Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat: (Studi pada Usaha Tahu HM di Desa Sukolilan Kecamatan Patebon Kabupaten Kendal).
Usaha adalah rumah bagi sebagian besar penduduk Sukolilan yang telah menunjukkan kemampuan mereka untuk memberikan kontribusi dan peran yang signifikan dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi desa. Selain itu, Usaha rumah tangga merupakan kegiatan komersial yang berpotensi untuk membina dan memberikan pelayanan ekonomi yang luas kepada masyarakat, sehingga memberikan kontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, mengurangi kebutuhan masyarakat untuk pindah, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka. Terlepas dari peran penting yang dimainkan oleh perusahaan kecil dalam perekonomian, mereka terus menghadapi tantangan, khususnya di bidang teknologi dan pemasaran. Pembuatan tahu sebagai salah satu contoh usaha rumahan yang berpotensi meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi warga Desa Sukolilan menjadi fokus pertanyaan penelitian sentral penelitian ini.
Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah pertama, mengetahui peran usaha tahu dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa sukolilan Kecamatan Patebon Kendal. Kedua, mengetahui hasil dari usaha tahu di Desa Sukolilan Kecamatan Patebon Kabupaten Kendal dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama, peran usaha dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Desa Sukolilan sangat baik karena mampu membina dan melakukan pelatihan untuk masyarakat sehingga pendapatan masyarakat bisa meningkat. Diantaranya peran usaha terhadap tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan dan tingkat pendapatan. Kedua, hasil usaha tahu dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat serta menjadi perubahan sosial pada masyarakat seperti perubahan sikap, perubahan nilai-nilai dan perubahan pola perilaku. Orang-orang dapat mengubah cara hidup mereka dalam batasan pendapatan mereka saat ini, meningkatkan konsumsi produk dan layanan baik untuk kebutuhan pokok maupun sebagai hasil dari situasi ekonomi keluarga yang membaik
