respectively. Of them all, the present study is to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of “Business
Result: Pre-intermediate” prescribed as the coursebook for second year students of the Cooperative
University. The objectives of the research are to evaluate the effectiveness of the coursebook, to find
out the students’ needs about their foreign language, and to discover whether the coursebook helps the
students improve their language skills or not. In this study, this coursebook was evaluated by the
students to find out whether it can help the students improve their language skills. The data were
gathered from the results of the students’ responses to the respective questionnaires. This study shows
the effective ways to help the students overcome the difficulties that they face whenever they learn
Business English through their prescribed coursebook
Investigation for Physicochemical Properties of Different Tube-Well Water from Maubin University Campus
Water is essential to survive for every living organism. Among them, human is mostly used to underground water than surface water for drinking, domestic and personal hygiene at the city areas in recent years. Moreover, most of the health problems are related to the insufficiency of purified water sources although fresh water sources are abundant. So, the assessment of water quality is important to obtain purified and safety water for the use of water. In this research paper, the physicochemical properties of water quality were determined from different sites of tube-well water from Maubin University Campus. The physicochemical properties of the water quality parameters such as pH, color, turbidity, electrical conductivity, total hardness, total alkalinity, iron, chloride, sulphate, total solid, total dissolved solids, total suspended solids and salinity were determined. The results were compared with the Drinking Water Quality Standard (WHO, Geneva-1996). The concentrations of testing parameters in different water sources were accepted with the water quality guidelines excepting iron and turbidity. According to the results, all of the water sources could be a chance to use for many purposes if iron and turbidity were removed by using proper methods
Multidimensional Analysis for Census Data by Applying Star Schema Model
In recent years, the high value of multidimensional data has been recognized in both the academic and business communities. Star schemas are the primary storage mechanism for multidimensional data that is to be queried efficiently. It supports relationships between fact and dimension tables and creating combination dimensions with a key, resulted to improve query performance for large quantities of data. This paper is presented for multidimensional data model, that is called star schema to store large amount of census data. This star schema can be used for business related queries on Census data for visualization report. This paper aims to enhance the interactive visualization process with more relevant operations for manipulation of various attributes by using the Pentaho Business Analytics (BA) Suite
A Lightweight Size Estimation Approach for Embedded System using COSMIC Functional Size Measurement
Functional Size Measurement (FSM) is an important component of a software project that provides information for estimating the effort required to develop the measured software. Although the embedded software is time-consuming to develop, COSMIC FSM can be estimated to get more accurate function size. The traditional Function Point methods are designed to measure only business application domain and are problematic in the real-time domain. As a result, COSMIC Functional Size Measurement (FSM) method is designed to measure both application domains. The design diagrams such as UML, SysML and the well-defined FSM procedure must use to accurately measure the functional size of embedded system. We have already developed the generation model based on SysML metamodel with an example of elevator control system. In this paper, we applied the generation model that is the classification of the instance level of object based on UML metamodel. After that, this paper also showed the mapping rules which mapped between the generation model and COSMIC FSM to estimate the functional size of embedded software with the case study of cooker system. This paper also proposed the light weight generation method of COSMIC FSM by using the generation model
The Measurement of Software Size based on Generation Model using COSMIC FSM
"The software size measurement plays essential roles in developing a software project to estimate costs, efforts and other resources. It provides the necessary input to estimate the effort at the early stage of design phase in the software development process. Thus, COSMIC FSM (Common Software Measurement International Consortium Functional Size Measurement) is one of the well-known methods of FSM which is suitable to estimate the size of software project at the early stage of development process. The industries use not only the standardized methods but also the well-defined modeling notations to measure the functional size of software. Some research has focused on the specific design notations to facilitate the design of the system. Therefore, this paper proposes a new model which is named as a generation model that can be accepted from various types of modeling notations and then these types converted into common general model for calculating the functional size of COSMIC concept. The generation model can help many researchers and estimators to understand the concepts of complex diagram notations easily. Then, the mapping rules define between the COSMIC FSM and generation model to measure the size of software. Finally, the results of the actual size of the system are calculated by using COSMIC method.

The role of early detection and treatment in malaria elimination
Falciparum malaria persists in hard-to-reach areas or demographic groups that are missed by conventional healthcare systems but could be reached by trained community members in a malaria post (MP). The main focus of a MP is to provide uninterrupted and rapid access to rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) and artemisinin-based combination therapy (ACT) too all inhabitants of a village. RDTs allow trained community members to perform malaria diagnosis accurately and prescribe appropriate treatment, reducing as much as possible any delay between the onset of fever and treatment. Early treatment with ACT and with a low-dose of primaquine prevents further transmission from human to mosquito. A functioning MP represents an essential component of any malaria elimination strategy. Implementing large-scale, high-coverage, community-based early diagnosis and treatment through MPs requires few technological innovations but relies on a very well structured organization able to train, supervise and supply MPs, to monitor activity and to perform strict malaria surveillance

Details of patient’s particulars, presenting symptoms, stage, performance status, treatment modalities and response to treatment were recorded. The most common clinical presentation was abdominal pain in colon cancer and bleeding per rectum and tenesmus in rectal cancer. 59.68% of patients had undergone curative resection and 40.32% were done palliative surgery. 9, 38 and 15 patients were given neoadjuvant, adjuvant and palliative chemotherapy, respectively
EFFECT OF DRYING METHODS ON PROXIMATE COMPOSITION AND PHYTOCHEMICAL CONTENT OF SESBANIA GRANDIFLORA LEAVES
The leaves of Sesbania grandiflora (L.) Poir, family Fabaceae, is a rich source of nutritional and phytochemical properties. This study was conducted in Yezin Agricultural University, Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. The treatments were fresh, shade and oven drying. The aim of the research was to investigate the influence of two drying methods (shade drying and oven drying) on proximate composition and phytochemical content of S. grandiflora (L.) Poir leaves. The results showed that shade-dried samples had the highest crude protein, crude ash, and carbohydrate while oven-dried samples had the highest crude fiber and crude fat content. Alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and terpenoids were found in the sample in all treatments. Antioxidant activity and vitamin C content were the highest in fresh samples and total phenol content was the highest in shade-dried samples. Thus, S. grandiflora is a good source of phytochemical and could be utilised for health promoting food item
Allopurinol causing generalized exfoliative dermatitis: a case report
Erythroderma is a scaly, erythematous dermatitis of the skin, which occurs in drug allergy, malignancy and underlying skin disorders. The diagnosis is challenging because the extent of skin involvement does not always correlate with the extent of internal organ involvement. Therefore, early recognition of symptoms is vital to minimize morbidity and mortality. Case report: A 52 years old man had asymptomatic hyperuricemia and prescribed allopurinol 300mg, daily. One month later, the rashes started to appear on his trunk and then progressed to the face and upper limbs. Then it continued to spread to the lower extremities. Management involves prompt cessation of the culprit drug, administration of corticosteroids and supportive treatment. It is Concluded that Allopurinol is commonly used in clinical practice for the treatment of symptomatic hyperuricemia and gout. It has been associated with erythroderma especially when used indiscriminately
