    Coherently controlled entanglement generation in a binary Bose-Einstein condensate

    Considering a two-component Bose-Einstein condensate in a double-well potential, a method to generate a Bell state consisting of two spatially separated condensates is suggested. For repulsive interactions, the required tunnelling control is achieved numerically by varying the amplitude of a sinusoidal potential difference between the wells.     Preparation, Characterization and Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Effectiveness Of Ppy-Pva and Ppy-Cmc Conducting Polymer Composite Films

    Polypyrrole-poly(viny1 alcohol) (PPy-PVA) and polypyrrole-carboxymethyl cellulose (PPy-CMC) conducting polymer composite films were electrochemically prepared on Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) glass electrode from an aqueous solution containing pyrrole monomer, p-toluene sulfonate dopant and poly(viny1 alcohol)/carboxymethyl cellulose insulating polymer. The PPy-PVA and PPy- CMC composite films prepared from different process conditions were characterized by Fourier Transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, optical microscopy, dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), and conductivity measurement. The highest conductivity of 64 Slcm measured at room temperature was shown by PPy-PVA composite film prepared fiom 0.2 M pyrrole, 0.1 M p-toluene sulfonate and 12 x lo4 M PVA at 1.2 volt (vsSCE) among all the PPY-PVA composite films produced. The PPy-CMC composite film prepared from 0.3 M pyrrole, 0.1 M p-toluene sulfonate and 0.03 M CMC at 1.2 volt (vs SCE) showed the highest conductivity of 38 Slcm among all the PPy-CMC composite films produced. The FT-IR study of PPy-PVA and PPy- CMC composite films shows the evidence of the incorporation of PVA and CMC in PPy structure forming PPy-PVA and PPy-CMC composite films, respectively. The conductivity data of PPy-PVA shows that with the increase in PVA concentration in the pyrrole solution, the conductivity of the prepared PPy-PVA film is increasing up to certain level due to the increase in conjugation length and later it is decreasing with further increase in PVA concentration, which is again linked with the conjugation length decrease. This is supported by the FT-IR band intensity of Ic=c/Ic-N. The FT-IR study of PPy-CMC composite films shows that with the increase in CMC concentration from 0.005 M to 0.01 M, the conductivity first decreased and later with further increase in CMC concentration the conductivity showed an increasing trend and finally at 0.04 M CMC, the conductivity dropped. The DMA results of PPy-PVA and PPy-CMC composite films show the enhanced mechanical properties of both the composite films over PPy films without PVA or CMC. The storage moduli of both the composite films were found much higher than the PPy film prepared without PVA or CMC indicating that PPy-PVA and PPy-CMC composite films are much stiffer than PPy films. The gradual decrease of storage moduli of both the composite films with the increase in temperature ranging from 25 "C to 250 "C suggests that the composite films have got flexibility in their chains and thus the chains are soft. On the other hand, the storage modulus of PPy film only without PVA or CMC shows no decreasing tendency with the increase in temperature ranging from 25 "C to 250 "C indicating that the PPy film is very hard and have got no flexibility in its backbone chain. The XRD results of both PPy-CMC and PPy-PVA composite films show that the films are amorphous and have got very little order. The optical micrographs of PPy-CMC and PPy-PVA show the globular surface morphology. The changes in globular surface morphology with the change in process condition of the film preparation indicates that the process parameters used to prepare the composite films have got a good influence over the surface morphology. The intense polymerization reaction has been evidenced from the surface morphology of the films. The results of electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness in the microwave range of 8-12 GHz show that the highest shielding effectiveness of 45.67 dB measured in the microwave range of 8-12 GHz corresponds to the total attenuation of 99.4 % of microwave energy has been exhibited by the Pe-PVA composite film prepared from 0.2 M pyrrole, 0.1 M p-toluene sulfonate and 12 x 10" M PVA at 1.2 volt (vs SCE) among all the PPy-PVA composite films prepared. The highest shielding effectiveness of 35.7 dB measured in the microwave range corresponds to the total attenuation of 98.32 % of microwave energy has been exhibited by the PPy-CMC composite film prepared fiom 0.3 M pyrrole, 0.1 M p-toluene sulfonate and 0.03 M CMC at 1.2 volt (vs SCE) among all the PPy-CMC composite films prepared. Thus, the promise of finding any electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding applications in the microwave frequency range lies in PPy-PVA and PPy-CMC conducting polymer composite films

    Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika melalui Strategi Pembelajaran Mantel Sang Ahli

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika dengan menerapkan Strategi Mantel Sang Ahli pada siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 1 Tinambung Polewali Mandar. Strategi Mantel Sang Ahli adalah suatu strategi yang memanfaatkan kondisi anak yang suka pamer dengan orientasi pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa (student-centred) sehingga dapat mengembangkan motivasi siswa, kreatifitas dan keterampilan mengemukakan ide atau gagasan di depan publik yang akan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Pengambilan data dilakukan beberapa tahap yaitu : test awal, siklus I dan siklus II. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data memperlihatkan bahwa : (1) pada test awal sebelum diterapkan strategi Mantel Sang Ahli diperoleh nilai rata-rata Hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 30,86 dari nilai ideal 100. (2) pada siklus I, diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 60,58 dari nilai ideal 100, sedangkan presentase dari nilai ketuntasan minimal sebesar 41,67 % sehingga masih dilanjutkan ke siklus II. (3) pada siklus II, diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 76,16 dari nilai ideal 100, presentase siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal sebesar 87,50%. (4) keaktifan siswa terhadap strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan meningkat dilihat dari peningkatan respon positif siswa terhadap situasi yang diberikan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Jadi penerapan Strategi Mantel Sang Ahli dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 1 Tinambung Kabupaten Polewali Mandar.Kata kunci— Hasil Belajar Matematika, Strategi Pembelajaran, Mantel Sang Ahl

    This research was conducted because of the result of learning science studies of grade VA SDN 42 Pekanbaru, with a class average of 57,94 minimum clompleteness criteria achieved by school was 75. From 39 students who achieve minimum clompleteness criteria just 5 students (12.82%) while students who did'nt achieve minimum clompleteness criteria is 34 students (87.18%). The purpose of this research to improve learning achievement science of grade VA students of SDN 42 Pekanbaru with the implementation of cooperative learning model type Take and Give. The results obtained by the average value of 57.94 firts score increased in the first cycle of 39,48% to 80.82. In the second cycle the average value of students also increased by 43.37% to 83.07. On the basic of classical completeness score science studies learning outcomes is only 12,82% (not finished). After the professor of applied cooperative learning model type of Take and Give in the first cycle classical completeness increased to 76,92% (not finished), and the second cycle of classical completeness obtained are increased to increase to 92,30%. Activities of teachers at the first learning of first cycle acquire a percentage of 79.17% with good categories. The second learning increased to 83.35% in good category. In the first learning of second cycle increased to 87.50% with very good category. At the second learning increased to 91.67% with very good category. At the third learning increased to 95.83% with good category. Activities of students in the first learning of the first cycle acquire a percentage of 62.50% with enough category. The second learning increased to 70.83% in enough category. In the first learning of the second cycle increased to 79.17% with good category. At the second learning increased to 83.33% with good category. At the third learning increased to 91.67% with very good category.     Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas Va SD Negeri 181 Pekanbaru

    This research aims to improve the achievement science of school year 2015/2016. The subjects of the research was the students class VA of SDN 181 Pekanbaru in number 44 students. It is a classroom research by two cycles. The data of the research shows that the achiement having improved. It is proven by the score result of the theacher's activity on the cycle I by mean 60% (enough category) improved as 10% to 70% (good category) and cycle II 80% (good category) improved as 5 % to 85% (very good category). The students activity on the cycle I by mean 60% (enough category) improved as 5% to 65% (good category) and the cycle II improved by mean 75% (good category) improved as 10% to 85% (very good category). The research finding also having improved, where before the learning cycle learning model. Was implemented on the passed based score was 18 students (40,90%) by mean 62,20. The cycle I, the passed students having improved as 28 students (63,64%) by mean 78,55 and on the cycle II improved to be 37 students (84,09%) by mean 83,64, this show that the application of learning learning cycle model can improve science learning outcomes grader VA SD Negeri 181 Pekanbar

    Analisis Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar Guru pada Proses Pembelajaran IPA Kelas V Sdn 11 Kecamatan Limapuluh Pekanbaru

    The aim of this research is to describe the basic skill of teachers in the learning process of IPA at the fifth grade in SDN 11 Pekanbaru city. The method used in this research is descriptive method because the researcher describes objectively and factually about basic skill of learning teachers in the process of IPA learning based on reality in the field. The research is took place at SDN 11 Pekanbaru city which is carried out from July 20th to 25th of August 2016. The data collecting technique used is measurable observation and unmeasurable interview. The instruments used for this research is observation guidline, interview guideline and recorder tools with 2 teachers as a research subject. The results showed the average value obtained on the questioning skills of Va classroom teachers is 66,64; skill of provide reinforcement 66,64; 70,83 of held a variety of skill; skill of explaining 80,94: opening and closing lessons skill 55,5; skill of guiding a small group of discussions 0; 85,7 of classroom management skill; and teaching skill for small group and individual 55,5. Whilst the average value obtained on the questioning skills of Vb classroom teachers is 75,74; skill of provide reinforcement 78,77; 91,67 of held a variety of skill; skill of explaining 90,47; opening and closing lesson skill 74; skill of guiding a small group discussions 0; 85,7 of classroom management skill; and teaching skill for small group and individual 81,4.
