Kualitas Kimia Susu Kambing Peranakan Etawa pada Berbagai Periode Laktasi di Desa Sungai Langka Kecamatan Gedong Tataan Kabupaten Pesawaran

This research was conducted from May up to June, 2016 at Ettawa grade goat (EGG) development area, Sungai Langka village, Gedong Tataan subdistrict, Pesawaran regency to study chemical quality of EGG milk. Survey method were used in this research. Fifteen tails of EGG at first, second, third, and fourth lactation period as sample research was decided by purposive sampling procedure. Variables observed were fat, protein, solid non fat, and water content. Chemical quality of milk were analysed at Technology of Agriculture Product Laboratory, Politeknik Negeri Lampung (Polinela), Bandarlampung. Chemical quality of the milk was compared Indonesia National Standard or Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) No 01-3141-1998 and Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS) 606-2008. Result of research indicated that fat content of 76.61 % samples (range of fat content 2.52 – 6.20 %) was qualified (standard of SNI was 3,7 %, TAS was 4.0 %). Protein content all samples (range 3.86 – 6.70 %) was qualified (standard of SNI was 2,7 %, TAS was 3.7 %). Solid non fat content all samples (range 9.54 – 11.92%) was qualified (standard of SNI was 8.0 %, TAS was 8.25). Water content all samples (range 76.28 – 82.48 %) was qualified (standard maximum of SNI was 89 %, standard maximum of TAS was 87 %).It could be concluded that chemical quality of EGG milk was qualified to standard of SNI No 01-3141-1998 and Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS) 606-2008

Resistance of Mocca Band Against the Indonesian Music Industry (Case Study About Resistance of Mocca Band Dealing with Indonesian Music Industry)

This study elaborates about the resistance of indie band dealing with the mainstream music industry in Indonesia. The primary subject of this research is Mocca, the indie band from Bandung as the agents of change in the structuration of Indonesian music industry. This study is a qualitative research with case study design. This study discusses about how Mocca could be a fighter with musical colors contrasted with the trend of Indonesian pop music industry which could be accepted by the community as well as providing a new musical color or a new genre which then helped to diversify the Indonesian music industry. Theoretically this study criticized the Indonesian music industry deteriorated in quality. Intercourse of Verbal and Visual Communication with Rock n’ Roll Magazine Reader

This study aims to determine the correlation between the attractiveness of the delivery messages in the Rolling Stone Indonesia magazine with the fulfillment of information about music. This object is 84 respondents of Rolling Stone Indonesia magazine customer in Bandung. Research methods used in this research is method of survey research techniques to examine the relationship correlation among the variables through hypothetical test. Data were collected from the questioner, interview and study of literature. Ordinal data are tested using the coefficientSpearman Rank correlation. From the data that already collected, the data related to separate the variables and calculated the number of correlation to see the correlation between the data variables. Results of this research is there a correlation between the attractiveness of the delivery messages in the Rolling Stone Indonesia magazine with the fulfillment of information about music about 0.913. The Effect of Social Media E-Marketing Towards Consumers Shopping Behavior

As the numbers of internet users increase, the trend of online transactions also increase. E-Marketing is one of a selling strategy using social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Whatsapp, BBM and LinkedIn. The purpose of this study was to analyze the simultaneous and partial effect of E-Marketing on the shopping behavior of respondents. Data were obtained from questionnaires given to 100 student respondents of Indonesian vocational education. The analytical method used in this research is the t-test and F test using SPSS 17. Based on the results of the study it is found that three factors affected the shopping behavior of these respondents through their online transaction via social media, namely accessibility, currency, and interactivity. All e-marketing variables influenced the behavior of consumers. However, there are also some e-marketing variables affecting the shopping behavior of respondents in different factors. From the cultural factor, shopping behavior is influenced by the accessibility and currency variables, while an affected variable linked to personal factors is accessibility alone. For psychological factors, the only effecting variable is interactivity. But overall e- marketing variables affected the shopping behavior of respondents

ISLAM DAN MODAL SOSIAL ORANG MINANGKABAU DI PERANTAUAN

Islam memiliki landasan yang kuat terhadap kontrak sosial dan norma yang telah disepakati umatnya. Orang Minangkabau di perantauan berusaha mengoptimalkan wujud nyata dari ajaran Islam tersebut. Sehingga Islam sangat berpengaruh dan mewarnai modal sosial mereka. Hal ini terlihat ketika organisasi-organisasi kelompok etnis Minangkabau yang terbentuk di perantauan tidak hanya menafsirkan ajaran Islam hanya sebatas pada ibadah rutinitas biasa, akan tetapi Islam telah ikut serta dalam dialektika kapital sosial organisasi yang pada gilirannya mengarahkan kegiatan komunitas etnis itu kepada gerakan-gerakan sosial yang produktif dan positif untuk membangun kehidupan masyarakat yang ideal. Dalam pandangan orang Minangkabau, Islam tidak hanya sebagai referensi perilaku sosial dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Islam juga merupakan salah satu identitas etnis. Dalam perspektif antropologis, antara Islam dengan orang Minangkabau merupakan suatu kesatuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. SCHEDULING SHIP MAINTENANCE JOBS IN MULTIPLE PORTS TO MINIMIZE WORKLOAD FLUCTUATION

Surface ships in the Navy require planned and unplanned pier-side maintenance. These maintenance jobs, known as availabilities, are contracted out to private shipyards. Ship maintenance schedules must meet the Navy’s operational requirements and stay within the capacity of the contracted shipyards. At the same time, it is important to minimize workload fluctuation in a port to help private shipyards train and maintain a skilled workforce. Building on recent work that schedules availabilities in a single port to minimize workload fluctuation, this thesis develops a port loading model to minimize workload fluctuation for all regional ports in the Area of Responsibility by allowing some ships to receive maintenance work out of their home ports. Scheduling availabilities across multiple ports simultaneously to level the workload in each port has two additional benefits: First, an increase in the number of eligible companies who can bid on the maintenance job will drive down the cost for the Navy. Second, allowing more flexibility to assign availabilities to different ports has the potential to further level the workload at these ports. In a case study on three ports in the West Coast over a six-year period, we demonstrate the effectiveness of the multi-port loading model.Approved for public release. Structure, ontogeny and evolution of the patellar tendon in emus (Dromaius novaehollandiae) and other palaeognath birds

The patella (kneecap) exhibits multiple evolutionary origins in birds, mammals, and lizards, and is thought to increase the mechanical advantage of the knee extensor muscles. Despite appreciable interest in the specialized anatomy and locomotion of palaeognathous birds (ratites and relatives), the structure, ontogeny and evolution of the patella in these species remains poorly characterized. Within Palaeognathae, the patella has been reported to be either present, absent, or fused with other bones, but it is unclear how much of this variation is real, erroneous or ontogenetic. Clarification of the patella’s form in palaeognaths would provide insight into the early evolution of the patella in birds, in addition to the specialized locomotion of these species. Findings would also provide new character data of use in resolving the controversial evolutionary relationships of palaeognaths. In this study, we examined the gross and histological anatomy of the emu patellar tendon across several age groups from five weeks to 18 months. We combined these results with our observations and those of others regarding the patella in palaeognaths and their outgroups (both extant and extinct), to reconstruct the evolution of the patella in birds. We found no evidence of an ossified patella in emus, but noted its tendon to have a highly unusual morphology comprising large volumes of adipose tissue contained within a collagenous meshwork. The emu patellar tendon also included increasing amounts of a cartilage-like tissue throughout ontogeny. We speculate that the unusual morphology of the patellar tendon in emus results from assimilation of a peri-articular fat pad, and metaplastic formation of cartilage, both potentially as adaptations to increasing tendon load. We corroborate previous observations of a ‘double patella’ in ostriches, but in contrast to some assertions, we find independent (i.e., unfused) ossified patellae in kiwis and tinamous. Our reconstructions suggest a single evolutionary origin of the patella in birds and that the ancestral patella is likely to have been a composite structure comprising a small ossified portion, lost by some species (e.g., emus, moa) but expanded in others (e.g., ostriches)

Tidak diragukan lagi bahwa setiap perusahaan diharuskan untuk memaksimalkan kegiatan operasional mereka agar dapat bersaing serta memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan ekonomi mereka. Memperoleh laba adalah salah satu cara untuk menilai kinerja bisnis, dan pertumbuhan laba menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan memiliki kinerja yang baik (Amar dan Nurfadila, 2017). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kinerja keuangan PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk dari tahun 2019-2023 dengan menggunakan rasio profitabilitas. Rasio ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data sekunder diambil dari laporan keuangan tahunan periode 2019-2023 dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan perhitungan rasio profitabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemungkinan penilaian kinerja keuangan PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk tidak stabil. Rasio profitabilitas perusahaan dalam kondisi buruk karena GPM, NPM, ROA, dan ROE secara keseluruhan berada di bawah rata-rata standar industri
