Efficacy of Relaxation Therapy on the Breathing Pattern among Bronchial Asthma Patients

Background: Bronchial asthma (BA) is a chronic disease characterized by inflammation of the airway that triggers frequent cough, wheezing, dyspnea, and chest tightness. Bronchial asthma may be caused by exposure to multiple irritants and pollutants which include: pollen, dust mites, mold spores, pet dander, smoke, respiratory allergens.Treatment for bronchial asthma patients along with the medication for relieving the symptoms of asthma. Various alternative therapies alleviating the rate of wheezing, aiming to minimize asthma triggers. Aim: The study aim is to assess the effectiveness of selected relaxation technique on the breathing outcome among patients diagnosed with bronchial asthma. Methodology: It is an interventional evaluatory approach; time-series design will be used to conduct the bronchial asthma patients. A Non-Probability purposive sampling technique will be used to select the samples. This research study included 40 patients of AVBRH Rural hospital Sawangi (M) Wardha. Patients must select according to requirements for inclusion and exclusion criteria. The pretest-posttest will be taken with the assessment of peak expiratory flow rate, breath-holding time, and frequency of using the inhaler. After that, statistical and inferential analysis will be done. Expected Results: Outcome includes the selected relaxation technique on the bronchial asthma patients that are effective for relieving the symptoms and frequency of medication. Both relaxation method which is most effective for the bronchial asthma patients that are going to assess with the sample. Conclusion: The conclusion will be drawn from the statistical analysis.</jats:p

HINDI SPEECH RECOGNITION TECHNIQUE USING HTK

This paper is based on SR system. In the speech recognition process computer takes a voice signal which is recorded using a microphone and converted into words in real-time. This SR system has been developed using different feature extraction techniques which include MFCC, HMM. All are used as the classifier. ASR i.e. automated speech recognition is program or we can called it as a machine, and it has ability to recognize the voice signal (speech signal or voice commands) or take dictation which involves the ability to match a voice pattern opposite to a given vocabulary. HTK i.e. The Hidden Markov model Toolkit is used to develop the SR System. HMM consist of the Acoustic word model which is used to recognize the isolated word. In this paper, we collect Hindi database, with a vocabulary size a bit extended. HMM has been implemented using the HTK Toolkit

Cooling of Photovoltaic Panel with Water Spray Technique

Abstract: The main aim of this experiment is to show that the use of water spray technique for the cooling of Photo-voltaic Panel to improve its performance parameters. The increase in temperature of Photo-voltaic panel due to accumulation of heat affects the performance parameters of it negatively. It also focuses on the why adaption of water spray technique cooling method over the other conventional cooling methods is effective. The effective design of the cooling system for Photo-voltaic panel was made and the procedure to carry out the experiment is describe. Experiment was carried out to check the performance of Photo-voltaic panel. The data was collected and is mentioned accordingly, analysis of experimental data and the calculations were done to show the improvement in performance parameter. Improvement in the efficiency by using water spray technique cooling system is found to be 2.14%. At last the results are shown in accordance with performance of Photovoltaic panel and discussions is made. It can be concluded that cooling of Photovoltaic panel using water spray technique can be one of the effective methods to improve its performance.</jats:p

Achieving Program Outcomes through MIY Model Ensuring Active Learning and Active Engagement in Learning

Post Covid-19 is a real challenge, as students faces are not visible to teachers during interaction or nor the students are available physically, leaving teachers clueless about their active learning and active engagement in learning. Achieving graduate attributes poses further challenge as it has to ensure imbibing Higher Order Thinking skills [HOTs] in students. There is a need to develop online integrated pedagogy to overcome this problem. It is observed that creating content specific videos, really creates interest in students and ensures active learning, if they are asked to upload in YouTube provided students are guided with Rubric based learning for video creation. Moodle integrated YouTube [MIY] channel is developed to let the teachers create their own Video of short duration with rubric guidance. The paper presents a case study dedicated to PO7 [Program Outcome Environment and Sustainability], supported by Open Education for better World [OE4BW]. The Moodle based methodology [73 activities in Moodle- Games like crossword, Quiz, Discussion Forum], integrating with google meet to interact with participants, Rubric guidance, query solving, active learners motivation and impact of posting in YouTube channel are presented in study.Out of 268 participants, 217 participants peer reviewed videos were selected and added in YouTube channel [Environment and sustainability OE4BW, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQWwEFdEMeS7Kc 3MuWw3Jkg/videos] based on quality content [Carbon foot print analysis, Environment and Sustainability computation] created by them. Participants happiness index for learning was attributed as A+ [4.79/5] during the entire video development process.</jats:p
