Monitoring Kinerja Mesin Tetas Otomatis Berbasis Internet Of Things
This study aims to destroy an automatic egg incubator, where the performance parameters to be monitored are the temperature and humidity of the incubator. The monitoring system uses the Internet of Things (IoT) application. The egg incubator utilizes the lamp's heat to maintain the room temperature's stability. Utilizing the DHT11 sensor, the temperature data will be processed on the Wemos d1 microcontroller, which is then sent to the internet wirelessly. The temperature and humidity data results will be read in real-time using IoT with the Blynk platform, which can also be accessed using a smartphone. The results of this study apply IoT technology to the monitoring system for measuring conditions of the incubator temperature and humidity parameter values. All device modules will be packaged into embedded systems integrated with environmentally friendly IoT innovation rules and support the technological era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The results of measurements at the incubator's location and the monitoring using the Blynk application are relatively the same, and the success rate of hatching eggs reaches 74% of the total eggs put into the incubato
The Maritime Historical Background of Bogak Port (8-20 Century), Tanjung Tiram District, Batubara Regency, North Sumatera Province
On January 2008 in the bank of the Bogak Beach, in the front of Fisherman Housing, Dusun XII Bogak Village, Tanjung Tiram District, Batubara Regency, North Sumatera Province found a boat. It was already researched that it was a heritage and related to that area in 18 century, and in that era was trade lines witches' traders and fishermen from foreign countries sailed to Sumatera. Not only boat but also found Chinese ceramic and coins in 1734, 1752, 1760, 1780, 1781, 1788 and 1790 years. This paper tries to describe the role of Pantai Bogak Port at 18th Century until 20th Century in the east coast maritime, and to research the archaeological and historical resources in Tanjung Tiram Regency; to look for the authenticity from Batubara Regency, North Sumatera Province. It could be proud Indonesia, and give a horizon about the activities and the cultural human history in 18th century until 20th century. The data was from collecting data observation in the field, and to analysis data then to give recommendation. The information process is from collecting data about historical data and the archaeological data, and the collecting data was also used from the primer data through observation. The secondary data was from rapport, inventories register, study result, and from libraries
Visualisation of Naturally Ventilated House in Tropical Hilly Area of Indonesia, Case Study: Vatutela Village, Tondo Hills, Palu
Abstract
The settlement of Vatutela village’s in Tondo hills Palu has only one road access with a linear residential pattern following the topography. This situation affects the pattern of wind flowing through the settlement areas, which is undoubtedly affecting the house’s temperature and humidity profile and influencing thermal comfort of the occupants. The research was conducted to visualise the pattern of the wind flow entering the house through openings in the perspective of building’s thermal performance. The method used to visualise the air movement was the smoke decay method. The method was performed in two scaled dwelling Models representing brick-constructed houses and wood-constructed raised floor houses in Vatutela village. The smoke decay result is elaborated with the results of microclimate measurements using Hobo data loggers to analyse the thermal condition in the houses. The results showed that a design strategy is needed to achieve a thermal comfort zone in both types of houses. The design strategy can be in the form of the arrangement of openings and additional building elements, such as adding ceilings, fins, sunscreens. Additionally, the opening placement, width, and type should be reconsidered for the houses in the area according to houses’ plan and section. This study is expected to give a visual evidence of wind pattern in a naturally ventilated house with a three-layers plan.</jats:p
