The National Clinical Practice Guideline in Tuberculosis (TB) was designed to improve the quality of tuberculosis care. However, it remains unknown whether primary care doctors adhere to it well. This audit aims to assess the quality of care in the process of TB contact tracing in a primary care setting. Methods: Data on TB contact tracing from 1st February 2013 to 15th February 2013 was obtained retrospectively from all medical records of diagnosed pulmonary TB in a public primary care clinic. All patients who fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included in the study. Results: A total of 102 medical records of adult TB contacts were recruited. The median age of the TB contact was 34 (IQR=10) years and 65 % were male. Seventy two percent of the adult TB contact had a TBIS 10C3 form created, and 95% of the medical records were fully documented. History taking and physical examination were recorded on 97% and 99% of patients respectively during the first follow-up at the polyclinic. Eighty five percent and 100% of the patients had a chest-x-ray and sputum direct smear for acid-fast bacilli done respectively. The turn-up rate for the first, second, third and fourth visit was 100% to 32%, 10% and 2% respectively. Conclusion: The quality of care for adult TB contacts tracing in this clinical audit was found to be suboptimal. There is a difference between the current national guidelines and practice in the clinic. Certain measures to improve the quality of care for adult TB contact tracing are urgently needed

The objective of the study was to evaluate the performance of Tuntang Catchment based on water quantity and quality area ranging from its upstream to downstream. The method used to determine the water quantity was by carrying out ground study on water discharge in the dry season (June 2011) in the research site, while the water quality was determined by conducting a laboratory analysis on the samples obtained from the sites in both the rainy and dry season (January and June 2011). The results indicated that the quantity of water discharge in Tuntang River was categorized “good”, although it was utilized for many uses such as irrigation, hydropower, and drinking water. Most of water discharges were mainly supplied from the upstream of Rawa Pening Lake. The water quality determined from the parameters of total dissolved solids, conductivity, pH, phosphate, and nitrate could be classified as “good”, meanwhile, the turbidity and dissolved oxygen were classified as “poor”

The increasing rate of unemployed graduates in Malaysia has received alarming attention in recents years. One of the factors that contribute to the unemployment problem is the lack of self-efficacy among graduates in making career choices. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the self-efficacy of catering students to make decision on career field options to be pursued either as a teacher, hospitality employee or entrepreneur. The design of this study is a quantitative descriptive study through survey and questionnaire is used as research instruments. A total of 66 catering students of year 3 and 4 from Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education (FPTV) were selected as the study sample. The data obtained were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 22.00 software involving mean, standard deviation, and ANOVA. The results showed that the mean scores of self-efficacy of catering students were high to become teachers (M= 4.11, SD=0.617) and followed by hospitality employee (M= 3.87, SD= 0.574) and entrepreneurs (M= 3.93, SD=0.514). However, there was no significant difference between the three career fields with a value of p = 0.052. In conclusion, catering students have high self-efficacy in venturing into the field of career when graduating from university. Graduates need to see the importance of enhancing self-efficacy because it opens paths for career opportunities and advancement

In Indonesia it was identified that there were much of polluted stream flow which cause improper consumed water. One of the rivers which has low of water qualities is Citarum River, West Java. However, along the Citarum river, there were built three reservoir dams (Saguling, Cirata and Jatiluhur) that can control the condition of river water regime. Research was conducted in Citarum watershed to determine the role of those reservoirs on water quality control. Seven stations along the river were selected as observation posts of water samples. Based on the observation results it was indicated that water pollutants within Citarum river was very high. However, those pollutants could be purified or reduced by those reservoirs, hence water discharge from the reservoirs has better quality. In the future, deposition of those pollutants within the dam may has negative environment impact. Therefore, to sustain that function of the dam, comprehensive efforts on reducing pollutants from the catchment area is urgently required
