Traditional use of medicinal plants among the tribal communities of Chhota Bhangal, Western Himalaya
The importance of medicinal plants in traditional healthcare practices, providing clues to new areas of research and in biodiversity conservation is now well recognized. However, information on the uses for plants for medicine is lacking from many interior areas of Himalaya. Keeping this in view the present study was initiated in a tribal dominated hinterland of western Himalaya. The study aimed to look into the diversity of plant resources that are used by local people for curing various ailments. Questionnaire surveys, participatory observations and field visits were planned to illicit information on the uses of various plants. It was found that 35 plant species are commonly used by local people for curing various diseases. In most of the cases (45%) under ground part of the plant was used. New medicinal uses of Ranunculus hirtellus and Anemone rupicola are reported from this area. Similarly, preparation of "sik" a traditional recipe served as a nutritious diet to pregnant women is also not documented elsewhere. Implication of developmental activities and changing socio-economic conditions on the traditional knowledge are also discussed

Mining Public Opinion on Indian Government Policies using R.
Nowadays, social media monitoring has burgeoned at a very rapid pace, so analyzing social data plays a crucial role in knowing people’s behavior. People share their views regarding trending topics that are occurring around the world. Opinion mining is used for extracting the sentiments from the textual data that are shared by peoples. In this work, we are analyzing Twitter Tweets using sentiment analysis which checks the opinion of people regarding various policies that were announced by the Indian Government. The main objective of the paper is to analyze sentiments of various Indian Government policies (namely Article370, New Motor Vehicles Act 2019, Triple Talaq, Jal Shakti Abhiyan, NRC Assam) on Twitter so that public opinions and views are analyzed. Emotions (anger, trust, fear, anticipation, disgust, sadness, joy, surprise) are analyzed using Emotion-based lexicon technique. Sentiments are classified into two categories (positive and negative) from the emotion lexicon EmoLex. The paper provides a comparative analysis of these policies and this work can act as feedback from people to the government. R programming is used for implementation and visualization.</jats:p
Emerging Molecular Pathways Involved in Pathophysiology of Cardiac Remodeling
Mammalian heart is a dynamic organ that can adapt morphological changes in response to alteration in workload. Various clinical and experimental findings revealed that in response to physiological stimuli or pathological insults, the heart undergoes cardiac remodeling which can be characterized by molecular, cellular or interstitial changes and can be manifested clinically as changes in size, shape and pumping function of the heart. A Sound understanding of changes in hearts cellular and molecular components and to mediators that derive homeostatic control is necessary before a specific intervention is pursued. Summarized data of this review comprises role of various novel emerging molecular pathways involvement in the pathophysiology of cardiac remodeling.

TNF-α: A Benificial or Harmful Pathogenic Cytokine in Cardiovascular System
Tumor necrosis factor (TNF- alpha) plays important role in pathophysiology of cardiovascular system and had been comprehensively studied over the last 20 years. These studies demonstrate both Detrimental and potentially conflicting roles of TNF-α in pathophysiology of heart. Beneficial effects of TNF-α includes cardioprotective action against ischemia, myocarditis, pressure overload and preventive action against potential adverse effects including development of atherosclerosis, reperfusion injury, hypertrophy, and heart failure. However, TNF-α is still controversial for its beneficial or harmful effects for cardiovascular system. This review includes evaluation of possible role of TNF-α in cardiovascular system specifically in pathophysiology and morphology of cardiomyocytes. Further this article mainly emphases on the claimed role of TNF-α pathways with concerning essential cardiac cellular processes which may have unswerving adaptive effects in the heart with respect to future research directions.
