Vertex operator algebras associated to certain admissible modules for affine Lie algebras of type A
Let be the simple vertex operator algebra associated to an
affine Lie algebra of type with the lowest admissible
half-integer level , for even l. We study the category of weak
modules for that vertex operator algebra which are in category as
modules for the associated affine Lie algebra. We classify irreducible objects
in that category and prove semisimplicity of that category.Comment: 21 pages, LaTe
Finite vs infinite decompositions in conformal embeddings
Building on work of the first and last author, we prove that an embedding of
simple affine vertex algebras , corresponding to an embedding of a maximal equal rank
reductive subalgebra into a simple Lie algebra ,
is conformal if and only if the corresponding central charges are equal. We
classify the equal rank conformal embeddings. Furthermore we describe, in
almost all cases, when decomposes finitely as a
-module.Comment: Latex file, 31 pages, minor corrections, to appear in Communications

Group Behavior Recognition in Context-Aware Systems
Proceedings of: 11th International Work-Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (IWANN 2011). International Workshop of Intelligent systems for context-based information fusion (ISCIF 11). Torremolinos-Málaga, Spain, June 8-10, 2011In most of the domains of the context-aware system the user make up a group and their behavior could be research with group behavior recognition techniques. Our approach try to take advantage of the context information to understand the user's behaviors like a group, and this information could be useful for other system to beat to the users. For this purpose it is exposed a new representation that concentrates all necessary information concerning relations two to two present in the group, and the semantics of the different groups formed by individuals and training (or structure) of each one of them. This work was supported in part by Projects CICYT TIN2008-06742-C02-02/TSI, CICYT TEC2008-06732-C02-02/TEC, CAM CONTEXTS

Analysis of Player Motion in Sport Matches
The system for analysis of player motion during sport matches, developed at University of Ljubljana will be presented. The system allows for non-intrusive measurement of positions of all players in indoor sports through whole match using only inexpensive video equipment - cameras mounted on the ceiling of the sports hall. Tracking process (obtaining trajectories from videos) is automatic and only supervised by operator, to initialize player positions at the beginning and correct the mistakes during the tracking. The software provides means for user friendly calibration of video data - using court markings of each supported sport (e.g. european handball, basketball, squash, tennis...) as reference coordinates. Manual annotations can be added, to complement the quantitative data. Software keeps synchronization between annotations and trajectory data and provides means to use custom annotation dictionaries. Due to calibration, the results are provided in court coordinates (meters, centimeters) and can be exported (synchronized with annotations in same file) for further analysis with any application (e.g. excel, SPSS). Software itself supports several kinds of graphical data presentations.
If time allows, the software itself will be demonstrated with examples from different sports
The role of external broadcasting in a closed political system
This article investigates the role and impact of external broadcasting (radio and television) on a closed political system, through the example of the two post-war German states: the West German Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and the East German German Democratic Republic (GDR). The aim is to debunk myths about the influence of external broadcasting on the events that led to German reunification in 1990. The study follows a historical approach and discusses what role external media played during the years of a divided Germany. The findings are based on several historical sources, research reports from the 1950s and 1960s and over 100 biographical interviews with former residents of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). The article analyses the impact of external broadcasting on citizens and the political elite in times of crisis as well as during everyday life
A note on representations of some affine vertex algebras of type D
In this note we construct a series of singular vectors in universal affine
vertex operator algebras associated to of levels ,
for . For , we study the representation theory of the
quotient vertex operator algebra modulo the ideal generated by that singular
vector. In the case , we show that the adjoint module is the unique
irreducible ordinary module for simple vertex operator algebra
. We also show that the maximal ideal in associated universal
affine vertex algebra is generated by three singular vectors.Comment: 9 page
