De sindicato clandestino a organización: la UGT de Sevilla durante la Transición
Después de su legalización, la UGT de Sevilla celebró su primer Congreso en julio de 1978. Todavía entonces era un sindicato muy limitado, carente de una amplia estructura or-gánica. La Unión Provincial diseñó una estrate-gia de expansión atendiendo cuatro frentes simultáneos: en primer lugar, la adaptación del sindicato al nuevo régimen democrático; en segundo lugar, clarificar sus relaciones con el PSOE en el nuevo contexto; el tercer frente fue la expansión orgánica y militante; y por último, el diseño de las directrices de lo que sería su labor sindical en la capital y la provinciaAfter being legalized, the UGT (Social-ist General Workers Union) in Seville held its first Congress in July 1978. Superconductivity and charge carrier localization in ultrathin bilayers
/ (LSCO15/LCO) bilayers
with a precisely controlled thickness of N unit cells (UCs) of the former and M
UCs of the latter ([LSCO15\_N/LCO\_M]) were grown on (001)-oriented {\slao}
(SLAO) substrates with pulsed laser deposition (PLD). X-ray diffraction and
reciprocal space map (RSM) studies confirmed the epitaxial growth of the
bilayers and showed that a [LSCO15\_2/LCO\_2] bilayer is fully strained,
whereas a [LSCO15\_2/LCO\_7] bilayer is already partially relaxed. The
\textit{in situ} monitoring of the growth with reflection high energy electron
diffraction (RHEED) revealed that the gas environment during deposition has a
surprisingly strong effect on the growth mode and thus on the amount of
disorder in the first UC of LSCO15 (or the first two monolayers of LSCO15
containing one plane each). For samples grown in pure
gas (growth type-B), the first LSCO15 UC next to the SLAO
substrate is strongly disordered. This disorder is strongly reduced if the
growth is performed in a mixture of and gas
(growth type-A). Electric transport measurements confirmed that the first UC of
LSCO15 next to the SLAO substrate is highly resistive and shows no sign of
superconductivity for growth type-B, whereas it is superconducting for growth
type-A. Furthermore, we found, rather surprisingly, that the conductivity of
the LSCO15 UC next to the LCO capping layer strongly depends on the thickness
of the latter. A LCO capping layer with 7~UCs leads to a strong localization of
the charge carriers in the adjacent LSCO15 UC and suppresses superconductivity.
The magneto-transport data suggest a similarity with the case of weakly hole
doped LSCO single crystals that are in a so-called {"{cluster-spin-glass
state}"
Higher Dimensional Taub-NUTs and Taub-Bolts in Einstein-Maxwell Gravity
We present a class of higher dimensional solutions to Einstein-Maxwell
equations in d-dimensions. These solutions are asymptotically locally flat,
de-Sitter, or anti-de Sitter space-times. The solutions we obtained depend on
two extra parameters other than the mass and the nut charge. These two
parameters are the electric charge, q and the electric potential at infinity,
V, which has a non-trivial contribution. We Analyze the conditions one can
impose to obtain Taub-Nut or Taub-Bolt space-times, including the
four-dimensional case. We found that in the nut case these conditions coincide
with that coming from the regularity of the one-form potential at the horizon.
Furthermore, the mass parameter for the higher dimensional solutions depends on
the nut charge and the electric charge or the potential at infinity.Comment: 11 pages, LaTe
The Near-Horizon Limit of the Extreme Rotating d=5 Black Hole as a Homogenous Spacetime
We show that the spacetime of the near-horizon limit of the extreme rotating
d=5 black hole, which is maximally supersymmetric in N=2,d=5 supergravity for
any value of the rotation parameter j in [-1,1], is locally isomorphic to a
homogeneous non-symmetric spacetime corresponding to an element of the
1-parameter family of coset spaces SO(2,1)x SO(3)/SO(2)_j in which the subgroup
SO(2)_j is a combination of the two SO(2) subgroups of SO(2,1) and SO(3).Comment: Some points clarified and misprints corrected. Version to be

Framework for automatic generation of ontology mappings
Some of the most outstanding problems in Computer Science (e.g. access to heterogeneous information sources, use of different e-commerce standards, ontology translation, etc.) are often approached through the identification of ontology mappings. A manual mapping generation slows down, or even makes unfeasible, the solution of particular cases of the aforementioned problems via ontology mappings. Some algorithms and formal models for partial tasks of automatic generation of mappings have been proposed. However, an integrated framework to solve this problem is still missing. In this paper, we present a framework for automatic ontology mapping generation, and a partial implementation of it. Our proposal is that this integrated vision can guide, not only our future work, but also the future work of other researchers. In the implementation carried out, we have built a mapping ontology with knowledge on ontology mappings
Crystal Symmetry Lowering in Chiral Multiferroic BaTaFeSiO observed by X-Ray Magnetic Scattering
Chiral multiferroic langasites have attracted attention due to their
doubly-chiral magnetic ground state within an enantiomorphic crystal. We report
on a detailed resonant soft X-ray diffraction study of the multiferroic
BaTaFeSiO at the Fe and oxygen edges. Below
() we observe the satellite reflections ,
, and where . The dependence of the scattering intensity on X-ray polarization and
azimuthal angle indicate that the odd harmonics are dominated by the
out-of-plane (-axis) magnetic dipole while the
originates from the electron density distortions accompanying magnetic order.
We observe dissimilar energy dependences of the diffraction intensity of the
purely magnetic odd-harmonic satellites at the Fe edge. Utilizing
first-principles calculations, we show that this is a consequence of the loss
of threefold crystal symmetry in the multiferroic phase

Furthermore, we found, rather surprisingly, that the conductivity of the LSCO15 UC next to the LCO capping layer strongly depends on the thickness of the latter. Intersecting 6-branes from new 7-manifolds with G_2 holonomy
We discuss a new family of metrics of 7-manifolds with G_2 holonomy, which
are R^3 bundles over a quaternionic space. The metrics depend on five
parameters and have two Abelian isometries. Certain singularities of the G_2
manifolds are related to fixed points of these isometries; there are two
combinations of Killing vectors that possess co-dimension four fixed points
which yield upon compactification only intersecting D6-branes if one also
identifies two parameters. Two of the remaining parameters are quantized and we
argue that they are related to the number of D6-branes, which appear in three

Differential effects of 2C9*3 and 2C9*2 variants of cytochrome P-450 CYP2C9 on sensitivity to acenocoumarol
The 2C9*3 and 2C9*2 polymorphisms of cytochrome P-450 CYP2C9 are associated with hypersensitivity to warfarin and bleeding. The effect of these polymorphisms on sensitivity to acenocoumarol is unknown. Three groups of patients, with low, medium, or high acenocoumarol-dose requirements, were studied. Age influenced the acenocoumarol sensitivity. Bearing the 2C9*3 allele was associated with the need for a lower acenocoumarol dose (odds ratio [OR], 6.02; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.50-24.18); 80% of carriers of the 2C9*3 allele required a low dose. The 2C9*2 allele was associated with a lower acenocoumarol-dose requirement (OR, 2.70; 95% CI, 1.11-6.58) because of a reduced risk of the need for a high acenocoumarol dose (4.8% of the patients in the high-dose group carried the 2C9*2 allele versus 34.1% and 30.2%, respectively, in the medium-dose and low-dose groups). Therefore, carriers of 2C9*3 may need a low initial loading dose of acenocoumarol. Because acenocoumarol sensitivity with the 2C9*2 variant does not seem to be clinically relevant, the drug could be an alternative to warfarin in 2C9*2 carrier
