Procedimiento conciliatorio en Colombia
La conciliación es uno de los mecanismos alternativos de solución de conflictos más importantes y desarrollados en Colombia. Pese a que las normas legales que rigen la materia son las mismas, en la práctica parece que los conciliadores y centros de conciliación aplican el procedimiento de manera diferente. El presente texto tiene como objetivo poner a disposición de las personas interesadas en la conciliación una descripción de las etapas que integran el procedimiento conciliatorio. El análisis jurídico del procedimiento empieza con los requisitos de la solicitud de conciliación y termina con el seguimiento que se debe hacer al resultado del servicio ofrecido. Para el desarrollo de la presente obra, se integra la legislación, la jurisprudencia y los conceptos de línea institucional del Ministerio del Interior y de Justicia con ejemplos sencillos que permiten un mejor entendimiento de los conceptos que se quieren dar a conocer
Stabilization arising from PGEM : a review and further developments
The aim of this paper is twofold. First, we review the recent Petrov-Galerkin enriched method (PGEM) to stabilize numerical solutions of BVP's in primal and mixed forms. Then, we extend such enrichment technique to a mixed singularly perturbed problem, namely, the generalized Stokes problem, and focus on a stabilized finite element method arising in a natural way after performing static condensation. The resulting stabilized method is shown to lead to optimal convergences, and afterward, it is numerically validated
Ginzburg-Landau theory of phase transitions in quasi-one-dimensional systems
A wide range of quasi-one-dimensional materials, consisting of weakly coupled
chains, undergo three-dimensional phase transitions that can be described by a
complex order parameter. A Ginzburg-Landau theory is derived for such a
transition. It is shown that intrachain fluctuations in the order parameter
play a crucial role and must be treated exactly. The effect of these
fluctuations is determined by a single dimensionless parameter. The
three-dimensional transition temperature, the associated specific heat jump,
coherence lengths, and width of the critical region, are computed assuming that
the single chain Ginzburg-Landau coefficients are independent of temperature.
The width of the critical region, estimated from the Ginzburg criterion, is
virtually parameter independent, being about 5-8 per cent of the transition

Microscopic theory of the pseudogap and Peierls transition in quasi-one-dimensional materials
The problem of deriving from microscopic theory a Ginzburg-Landau free energy
functional to describe the Peierls or charge-density-wave transition in
quasi-one-dimensional materials is considered. Particular attention is given to
how the thermal lattice motion affects the electronic states. Near the
transition temperature the thermal lattice motion produces a pseudogap in the
density of states at the Fermi level. Perturbation theory diverges and the
traditional quasi-particle or Fermi liquid picture breaks down. The pseudogap
causes a significant modification of the coefficients in the Ginzburg-Landau
functional from their values in the rigid lattice approximation, which neglects

Leaf-applied sodium chloride promotes cadmium accumulation in durum wheat grain
Cadmium (Cd) accumulation in durum wheat grain is a growing concern. Among the factors affecting Cd accumulation in plants, soil chloride (Cl) concentration plays a critical role. The effect of leaf NaCl application on grain Cd was studied in greenhouse-grown durum wheat (Triticum turgidum L. durum, cv. Balcali-2000) by immersing (10 s) intact flag leaves into Cd and/or NaCl-containing solutions for 14 times during heading and dough stages. Immersing flag leaves in solutions containing increasing amount of Cd resulted in substantial increases in grain Cd concentration. Adding NaCl alone or in combination with the Cd-containing immersion solution promoted accumulation of Cd in the grains, by up to 41%. In contrast, Zn concentrations of grains were not affected or even decreased by the NaCl treatments. This is likely due to the effect of Cl complexing Cd and reducing positive charge on the metal ion, an effect that is much smaller for Zn. Charge reduction or removal (CdCl2 0 species) would increase the diffusivity/lipophilicity of Cd and enhance its capability to penetrate the leaf epidermis and across membranes. Of even more significance to human health was the ability of Cl alone to penetrate leaf tissue and mobilize and enhance shoot Cd transfer to grains, yet reducing or not affecting Zn transfer
Friedel Oscillations and Charge-density Waves Pinning in Quasi-one-dimensional Conductors: An X-ray Access
We present an x-ray diffraction study of the Vanadium-doped blue bronze
K0.3(Mo0.972V0.028)O3. At low temperature, we have observed both an intensity
asymmetry of the +-2kF satellite reflections relative to the pure compound, and
a profile asymmetry of each satellite reflections. We show that the profile
asymmetry is due to Friedel oscillation around the V substituant and that the
intensity asymmetry is related to the charge density wave (CDW) pinning. These
two effects, intensity and profile asymmetries, gives for the first time access
to the local properties of CDW in disordered systems, including the pinning and

Critical structure factors of bilinear fields in O(N)-vector models
We compute the two-point correlation functions of general quadratic operators
in the high-temperature phase of the three-dimensional O(N) vector model by
using field-theoretical methods. In particular, we study the small- and
large-momentum behavior of the corresponding scaling functions, and give
general interpolation formulae based on a dispersive approach. Moreover, we
determine the crossover exponent associated with the traceless
tensorial quadratic field, by computing and analyzing its six-loop perturbative

A Single Nucleotide Polymorphism in the RASGRF2 Gene Is Associated with Alcoholic Liver Cirrhosis in Men
Background
Genetic polymorphisms in the RAS gene family are associated with different diseases, which may include alcohol-related disorders. Previous studies showed an association of the allelic variant rs26907 in RASGRF2 gene with higher alcohol intake. Additionally, the rs61764370 polymorphism in the KRAS gene is located in a binding site for the let-7 micro-RNA family, which is potentially involved in alcohol-induced inflammation. Therefore, this study was designed to explore the association between these two polymorphisms and susceptibility to alcoholism or alcoholic liver disease (ALD).
Methods
We enrolled 301 male alcoholic patients and 156 healthy male volunteers in this study. Polymorphisms were genotyped by using TaqMan® PCR assays for allelic discrimination. Allelic and genotypic frequencies were compared between the two groups. Logistic regression analysis was performed to analyze the inheritance model.
Results
The A allele of the RASGRF2 polymorphism (rs26907) was significantly more prevalent among alcoholic patients with cirrhosis (23.2%) compared to alcoholic patients without ALD (14.2%). This difference remained significant in the group of patients with alcohol dependence (28.8% vs. 14.3%) but not in those with alcohol abuse (15.1% vs. 14.4%). Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that the A allele of this polymorphism (AA or GA genotype) was associated with alcoholic cirrhosis both in the total group of alcoholics (odds ratio [OR]: 2.33, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.32–4.11; P = 0.002) and in the group of patients with alcohol dependence (OR: 3.1, 95% CI: 1.50–6.20; P = 0.001). Allelic distributions of the KRAS polymorphism (rs61764370) did not differ between the groups.
Conclusions
To our knowledge, this genetic association study represents the first to show an association of the RASGRF2 G>A (rs26907) polymorphism with ALD in men, particularly in the subgroup of patients with AD. The findings suggest the potential relevance of the RAS gene family in alcoholism and ALD
Compartmental Genomics in Living Cells Revealed by Single-Cell Nanobiopsy
The ability to study the molecular biology of living single cells in heterogeneous cell populations is essential for next generation analysis of cellular circuitry and function. Here, we developed a single-cell nanobiopsy platform based on scanning ion conductance microscopy (SICM) for continuous sampling of intracellular content from individual cells. The nanobiopsy platform uses electrowetting within a nanopipette to extract cellular material from living cells with minimal disruption of the cellular milieu. We demonstrate the subcellular resolution of the nanobiopsy platform by isolating small subpopulations of mitochondria from single living cells, and quantify mutant mitochondrial genomes in those single cells with high throughput sequencing technology. These findings may provide the foundation for dynamic subcellular genomic analysis
