Comparison between the conventional methods and PSO based MPPT algorithm for photovoltaic systems
Since the output characteristics of photovoltaic (PV) system depends on the ambient temperature, solar radiation and load impedance, its maximum power point (MPP) is not constant. Under each condition PV module has a point at which it can produce its MPP. Therefore, a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method is needed to uphold the PV panel operating at its MPP. This paper presents comparative study between the conventional MPPT methods used in (PV) system: Perturb and Observe (P&O), Incremental
Conductance (IncCond), and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm for (MPPT) of (PV) system. To evaluate the study, the proposed PSO MPPT is implemented on a DC-DC cuk converter and has been compared with P&O and INcond methods in terms of their tracking speed, accuracy and performance by using the Matlab tool Simulink. The simulation result shows that the proposed algorithm is simple, and is superior to the P&O and IncCond methods

Entanglement-enhanced probing of a delicate material system
Quantum metrology uses entanglement and other quantum effects to improve the
sensitivity of demanding measurements. Probing of delicate systems demands high
sensitivity from limited probe energy and has motivated the field's key
benchmark-the standard quantum limit. Here we report the first
entanglement-enhanced measurement of a delicate material system. We
non-destructively probe an atomic spin ensemble by means of near-resonant
Faraday rotation, a measurement that is limited by probe-induced scattering in
quantum-memory and spin-squeezing applications. We use narrowband,
atom-resonant NOON states to beat the standard quantum limit of sensitivity by
more than five standard deviations, both on a per-photon and per-damage basis.
This demonstrates quantum enhancement with fully realistic loss and noise,
including variable-loss effects. The experiment opens the way to ultra-gentle
probing of single atoms, single molecules, quantum gases and living cells.Comment: 7 pages, 8 figures; Nature Photonics, advance online publication, 16

Conceptual Analysis of Lower Back Pain Resulting from Awkward Sitting Posture in Driver Vehicle Seat—Systematic Review and Surveys
This research paper presents an analysis of the different kinds of pains in particular lower back pain (LBP) which result from the awkward sitting position of the driver. The analysis is conducted through library research and respondents\u27 field surveys. The research methodology adopted is content analysis with systematic reviews of relevant related scientific journals since the research study is from the conceptual approach. In addition, the data from the surveys will also be used to strengthen the justification of this research outcome and its hypothesis. The objective of this research paper is to identify the various main types of pain suffered by drivers resulting from sitting in an awkward posture in the car seat either during driving or stationary mode, with the ultimate aim of determining the most dominant and prevalent pain, namely low back pain (LBP) in relation to the sitting postures of drivers With this research knowledge content, it can help develop measures for the transport car manufacturing industries and policymakers for the drivingindustry to reduce ergonomic risk of low back pain (LBP)
Evaluation of Validity and Reliability of Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) Method in Research Experiment: A Systematic Review
This research paper presents an evaluation of the validity and reliability of the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method used in research, examination, and experiment. A systematic review process is adopted in this evaluation approach. A range of scientific journals in which the RULA method is adopted in their respective research fields are selected for the systematic review and evaluation of the RULA method’s validity and reliability. The RULA method is used in the research area for the assessment of ergonomic risk levels using a defined evaluation scoring method with regard to different body postures adopted whilst working or performing specific tasks. It is essential to systematically evaluate and examine the RULA method of assessment in the field of ergonomic study to ascertain its validity and reliability performance. In many research areas, ensuring validity and reliability are critical parameters concerning the research methodology used, the test criteria, the hypotheses development, the assessment tools used and also the data collected and evaluated. Thus, in the research area where the RULA method is adopted, it is primarily crucial to ensure that validity and reliability are upheld and achieved. Discussion of the test of validity and reliability is also pursued in this research paper to encompass the holistic evaluation of the RULA method. Finally, the final judgement is made by proving the hypothesis whether the RULA method is valid and reliable for use in research and evaluation. The scoring of risk levels will be determined and concluded
Wellbeing at Work before and during the SARS-COV-2 Pandemic: A Brazilian Nationwide Study among Dietitians
This study aimed to evaluate the perceptions of dietitians' wellbeing at work before and during the SARS-COV-2 pandemic in Brazil. This cross-sectional study was performed using a previously validated instrument to investigate the wellbeing of dietitians at work in Brazil. The questionnaire on the wellbeing of dietitians was composed of 25 items (with a 5-point scale), characteristics, and questions about the SARS-COV-2 period. The application was carried out with GoogleForms(R)tool from 26 May to 7 June 2020. The weblink to access the research was sent via email, messaging apps, and social networks. Volunteers were recruited nationwide with the help of the Brazilian Dietitians Councils, support groups, as well as media outreach to reach as many dietitians as possible. Volunteers received, along with the research link, the invitation to participate, as well as the consent form. A representative sample of 1359 dietitians from all the Brazilian regions answered the questionnaire-mostly female (92.5%), Catholic (52.9%), from 25 to 39 years old (58.4%), with a partner (63.8%), and with no children (58%). Most of the participants continue working during the pandemic period (83.8%), but they did not have SARS-COV-2 (96%), nor did their family members (80.7%). The wellbeing at work before SARS-COV-2 was 3.88 +/- 0.71, statistically different (p< 0.05) from during the pandemic, with the wellbeing of 3.71 +/- 0.78. Wellbeing at work was higher before the pandemic for all the analyzed variables. Analyzing variables separately before and during the pandemic, dietitians with partners, children and a Ph.D. presented higher scores for wellbeing at work. Professionals receiving more than five times the minimum wage have higher scores. During the pandemic, better wellbeing was observed for dietitians working remotely
A novel MPPT algorithm based on particle swarm optimization for photovoltaic systems
In this paper a new maximum-power-point-tracking (MPPT) method for the photovoltaic (PV) system using an improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed. The proposed control scheme eliminates the problems in the conventional methods as it uses only a simple numerical calculation to initialize the particles around the global maximum power point (GMPP). Hence, the PSO will utilize less iteration to reach the MPP. The proposed algorithm is verified by using MATLAB SIMULINK tool, several simulations being carried out, and compared to Perturb and Observe (P&O) Method, Incremental Conductance (IncCond) Method, and conventional Practical Swarm Optimization based MPPT Algorithm. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can effectively enhance stability and fast tracking capability even under rapidly changing atmospheric conditions
