THE EFFECT OF STUDENTS’ SPEAKING LEARNING TECHNIQUES (ROLE PLAY AND GROUP DISCUSSION) AND COGNITIVE STYLES (FIELD INDEPENDENT AND FIELD DEPENDENT) TOWARDS THE STUDENTS’ SPEAKING ABILITY
the method that is used in this research is the true experimental study. The researcher does four steps
in this research, at the first point, the reseacher classifies the students’ cognitive styles by giving them a
questionnaire. After that, she investigates the students’ speaking ability before they are given the treatment, pre
test is used. Next, the students are treated using speaking techniques role play and group discussion. Finally, they
are given another test, that is post test. This research is aimed to find out which technique is appropriate given to
students whose cognitive style is field independent and which one is suitable for students whose cognitive style
is field dependent. The significances of this research are, first, to find ways to ease students to master English in
form of communication. Secondly, to support theories by proving that students will more easily to understand
the lesson if they are taught using appropriate techniques based on their cognitive styles.
The finding of this research is that field independent students are better taught using role play technique, while
field dependent students are better taught using group discussion

This study aims to describe set and form of the phonemic correspondence, and the type of sound change in Sasak, Ogan, Minang, and Sumbawa language. These four languages belong to the Austronesian family. So this language is alleged to have close kinship. This can be evidenced by the phonemic correspondence that occurs regularly in the four comparable languages.
The type of data used is secondary data, which is obtained from literature study. The data crawl tool used the list of vocabulary Swadesh amounted to 300 vocabulary. Data analysis using the classical comparison method by going through the stages, determining the set of correspondence phonemis, then reconnaissance phonemis on a number of pairs of words that appear on the correspondence set. Phonemic reconstructions are then performed to determine the proto phonemes that derive the languages of the kin.
Based on this study found phonemic correspondence, /a~e~o/, /q~h/, /t~?/. After the correspondence formula can be formulated, it can be seen that the Sasak language, and the Sumbawa language is a separate language class with the same correspondence, while the Ogan language, and Minang languages are different groups.

Performance Management System is believed become a strategic tool to conduct the organizational change. PT. X is a private company with a significant growth for more than the last ten years ago. Its Strategic Plan 2012 -2016 states that it would like to become the five star hospitality company in its industry. To achieve this objective, the company need to know its performance through its employees\u27 performance. The last two years before shows that its employee\u27 performance are mostly in an excellent result. But on the other hand, the management does not feel this way. In order to make this clear for management, they need to review their Performance System and redesign it. This research is qualitative research, which used an interview and document study to collect the data and information. The result is Performance Management System for PT X then is decided to redesign by referring to four phases of Performance Management System, which are Planning, Monitoring, Evaluating and Rewarding
PESAN CINTA DALAM FILM (Analisis Isi Film ”I Love You Om")
Film represent one of the most event enthused by society start from children until adult. One other enthused many by adult this time is film, because they have saturated with many news him about and politics of kriminal which many and often happened, not even in Indonesia but beyond the sea. Film likely have become one part of the life some of human being. Therefore, impossible film dissociated with life of modern society like in this time. Film can express role of x'self as mechanic channel to submit certain messages from and for human being. Basically film can be grouped in two big shares, that is story film and film of non story. Story film is produced film pursuant to composed story and played by actress and actor, while film is non story represent film category taking fact as its his (Soemarno, 1996 : 10).
This Formula research internal issue is : " how big frequency message of Love which emerge in film " I Love You Om". This Research aim to to know how big frequency message of peeped out Love at film " I Love You Om" Masterpiece of Widy Wijaya. At this research is used by descriptive type, with quantitative data type. Focus at this research is message of love in film of I Love You Om. In this research of researcher take research scope with analysing all scene found on film " I Love You Om". Set of measure in this research, like at pregnant category of love category, given the set of measure found on communications facet of verbal and non its his, hence can water down to know frequency apparition of message to be analysed. Data which is taken in this research is primary data and data of Sekunder. As primary data is film " I Love You Om"Karya Widy Wijaya, perceived by conducting record-keeping to categorys order and target which consist in in it which wish to be expressed in this research. In this research analyse with content analysis.
Pursuant to result of research which have been obtained by result and earn concluded that in film " I Love You Om" this is taken by 3 message of love which among others is: (1) Message of love seen from form love in film of I this Love You Om there are 32 times or 51,62% from totalizeing the overall of message of love which emerge. What is each can be detailed as follows: (a) real Love counted 2 times or 3,23% (b) Love love counted 30 times or 48,39% (2) Message of love of love type facet, in film of I this Love You Om of its apparition frequency counted 30 times or 48,39% from totalizeing message of love which emerge, what is each can be explained as follows: (a) Love fellow being counted 7 times or 11,29% (b) Love love counted 23 times or 37,10%. Message of love of love element facet, its apparition frequency counted 40 times or 24,39% from totalizeing message of love which emerge, what is each can be explained as follows: (a) Intimacy counted 12 times or 14,64% (b) Enthusiasm and of nafsusebanyak 8 times or 9,76% So that from in its entirety there are 62 times apparition about category message of love which emerge in film of I Love You Om. From all message of the love which at most its apparition [is] from form category love from category sub love love namely counted 30 times apparition or counted 48,39%. PEMANFAATAN OBSERVATORIUM BOSSCHA SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR: studi mata pelajaran geografi di sma-n bandung dan cimahi
Sumber belajar merupakan sumber daya yang memberikan kemudahan siswa untuk belajar. Sumber belajar dapat berupa data, manusia, benda, dan lingkungan. Salah satu pemanfaatan lingkungan yang dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi sumber belajar adalah Observatorium Bosscha. Observatorium Bosscha dapat di manfaatkan dan di rancang pemanfaatannya dengan menggunakan desain pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi pemanfaatan, kendala, dan mendesain pembelajaran dalam memanfaatkan Observatorium Bosscha. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Populasi dan sampelnya adalah seluruh guru geografi SMA-N di Kab Bandung Barat, Kota Bandung dan, Kota Cimahi, yaitu sebanyak 48 guru dari 48 sekolah. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah kuisioner, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data digunakan adalah persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan; (1) pemanfaatan Observatorium Bosscha sebagai sumber belajar oleh guru geografi di sekitar lokasi Observatorium Bosscha masih rendah karena hanya sebagian kecil saja yang sudah memanfaatkan sebagai, tempat belajar, bahan ajar, media ajar dan sebagian besar belum pernah memanfaatkan Observatorium Bosscha menjadi sumber belajar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran; (2) Kendala yang di hadapi guru geografi dalam memanfaatkan Observatorium Bosscha, diantaranya kendala waktu, kendala biaya, dan jarak tempuh; (3) Desain pembelajaran dalam memanfaatkan Observatorium Bosscha, mempertimbangkan faktor biaya dan jarak. Desain pembelajaran di rumuskan dengan mengembangkan metode karya wisata. Dilengkapi dengan bahan ajar, materi ajar, media pembelajaran, dan instrumen penilaian. ---------- Learning source is a resource that provides ease learning for the learners. Learning resources can be data, people, objects, and environments. One of the utilization of the environment that can be used as a source of learning is the Bosscha observatory. Bosscha observatory can be taken as an advantage and utilized in instructional learning design. The purpose of this research was to identify the utilization, constraints, and designing the instructional learning design in harnessing the Bosscha Observatory. This research uses survey as the method of research. Population and sample is the entire National High School teacher, which are teach geography in Bandung District includes West Bandung Regency, Bandung City and Cimahi City that as many as 48 teacher respondent from 48 schools. Data collecting tools used are questionnaire, observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis technique used is the percentage of data analysis. The results of this study indicates; (1)Utilization of Bosscha observatories as learning resources by teachers of geography around the location of the Bosscha observatories is still low because only a small portion is already using it, as a place of learning, learning materials and learning media most of the respondents have seems never utilized Bosscha observatories into learning resources in learning activities; (2) The obstacles that must be dealt with the geography teachers in the area of Bandung to utilizing Bosscha observatory are time constraints, constraints of cost, mileage to go to the observatory; (3) Instructional design in utilizing Bosscha observatories, must consider the cost and distance.
