Car rental has become one of the most profitable industries, as cars have become an essential means of transportation for various societal needs, such as family activities and work. Many car rental companies still rely on conventional methods for promotions and reservations. There is one car rental place whose rental and promotion system still uses WhatsApp chat and telephone or comes directly to the rental. A website-shaped system is crucial as a company platform to showcase available vehicles, enable online transactions for rentals, and facilitate easy and convenient payments. The development of this website involves prototyping with PHP and MySQL programming languages, and the payment system incorporates the Midtrans payment gateway. The system is tested using Blackbox and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This website's development aims to simplify the booking process for customers and enhance the company's ability to manage vehicle data and payments efficiently. Following the system's construction, testing is conducted, with the results of the UAT indicating a user satisfaction score of 90.8%. Based on the evaluation, the majority of users strongly agree with the developed application. &nbsp

HTML5 video is the upcoming standard for playing videos on the World Wide Web. Although its specification has not been fully adopted yet, all major browsers provide the HTML5 video element and web developers already rely on its functionality. But there are differences between implementations and inaccuracies that trouble the web developer community. To help to improve the current situation we draw a comparison between the most important web browsers. We focus on the event mechanism, since it is essential for interacting with the video element. Furthermore, we compare the seeking accuracy, which is relevant for more specialized applications. Our tests reveal varieties of differences between browser interfaces and show that even simple software solutions may still need third-party plugins in today's browsers

Digitalization and Internet are challenging a broad variety of established media sectors. This counts for the home video industry and especially the video rental market as well. Based on a review of market data, literature, press releases and expert interviews, this paper analyzes the transition of the German video rental sector. Since its beginnings, its core actors were confronted with piracy, changing media formats and an increasing sell-through market. The emergence of Video on Demand takes these developments another step further: As new competitors, online video stores such as Videoload, Maxdome or Netflix entered the sector, whereas traditional video rental shops are on the verge of being driven out of the market. The booming online video rental market is dominated by a limited set of powerful and formally sector external actors like ProSiebenSat.1, Deutsche Telekom, Amazon or Apple

    Adaptive skin color classificator

Abstract A lot of computer vision applications benefit from robust skin color classification. But this is a hard challenge due to the various image conditions like camera settings, illumination, light source, shadows and many more. Furthermore people's tans and ethnic groups also extend those conditions. In this work we present a parametric skin color classifier that can be adapted to the conditions of each image or image sequence. This is done by evaluating some previously know skin color pixels which are acquired by applying a face detector. This approach can distinguish skin color from very similar color like lip color or eye brow color. Its high speed and high accuracy makes it appropriate for real time applications such as face tracking and mimic recognition
