Fixed Points for Ciric-G-Contractions in Uniform Spaces Endowed with a Graph
In this paper, we generalize the notion of -generalized contractions
introduced by \'Ciri\'c from metric to uniform spaces endowed with a graph and
discuss on the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for this type of

Aerosol Characteristics at a high-altitude station Nainital during the ISRO-GBP Land Campaign-II
During the second land campaign (LC-II) organised by ISRO-GBP, extensive
ground-based measurements of aerosol characteristics were carried out over
Manora Peak (29.4oN; 79.5oE; 1951 metres above mean sea level), Nainital (a
high altitude station located in the Shivalik ranges of Central Himalayas)
during the dry, winter season (December) of 2004. These measurements included
the spectral aerosol optical depths (AOD), columnar water vapour content (W),
Total Columnar Ozone (TCO), total number concentration (NT) of near surface
aerosols, mass concentration of black carbon (MB), aerosol mass loading (MT),
and Global Solar Radiation. Based on these measured parameters, we present the
results on the near-surface and columnar properties of atmospheric aerosols at

Growth, yield attributes, yield and economics of winter popcorn (Zea mays everta Sturt.) as influenced by planting time fertility level and plant population under late sown condition
The field experiment was laid out in split plot design with three replications, assigning in 27 treatment combinations i.e. three sowing dates of Pop corn (Zea mays everta Sturt.)cv. V.L. Amber (15 Dec, 30 Dec and 15 Jan) arranged in main plots and three level of plant population (60000, 80000 and 100,000 plants ha-1) in sub plot. Three level of fertility (100:50:50, 150:65:65 and 200:85:85 kg of N: P2O5: K2O ha-1) apportioned in sub-sub plots at the Research farm, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, BHU, Varanasi (U.P.) during late winter (rabi) seasons of 2009-10 and 2010-11 to study the influenced of planting time, fertility level and plant population on yield attributes, grain yield and economics of winter popcorn (Zea mays everta Sturt.) under late sown condition. The popcorn sown on 15th December recorded highest plant height, leaf-area index, dry matter, popcorn growth rate, yield attributes and yield of pop corn were significantly (P<0.05) affected and recorded highest benefit cost ratio (3.78). While, the maintenance of 80,000 popcorn plants/ha proved optimum for pop corn as it significantly (P<0.05) recorded highest number of kernel cob-1,grain yield (32.61 q/ha) and shelling percentage against density of 60,000 plants, while remained at par in straw yield over 100,000 plants. Application of 200: 85: 85 kg N: P2O5: K2O/ha significantly (P<0.05) increased growth, yield attributes and grain yield over 100: 50: 50 and 150: 65: 65 kg N: P2O5: K2O/ha and fetched the highest B: C ratio (3.14)
Lattice sites of ion-implanted Li in diamond

Abstract: Radioactive Li ions were implanted into natural IIa diamonds at temperatures between 100 K and 900 K. Emission channelling patterns of a-particles emitted in the nuclear decay of 8Li (t1/2 = 838 ms) were measured and, from a comparison with calculated emission channelling and blocking effects from Monte Carlo simulations, the lattice sites taken up by the Li ions were quantitatively determined. A fraction of 40(5)% of the implanted Li ions were found to be located on tetrahedral interstitial lattice sites, and 17(5)% on substitutional sites. The fractions of implanted Li on the two lattice sites showed no change with temperature, indicating that Li diffusion does not take place within the time window of our measurements.
Transmission tree of the highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) epidemic in Israel, 2015
The transmission tree of the Israeli 2015 epidemic of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) was modelled by combining the spatio-temporal distribution of the outbreaks and the genetic distance between virus isolates. The most likely successions of transmission events were determined and transmission parameters were estimated. It was found that the median infectious pressure exerted at 1 km was 1.59 times (95% CI 1.04, 6.01) and 3.54 times (95% CI 1.09, 131.75) higher than that exerted at 2 and 5 km, respectively, and that three farms were responsible for all seven transmission events. Propagation of a hole on a Neel background
We analyze the motion of a single hole on a N\'eel background, neglecting
spin fluctuations. Brinkman and Rice studied this problem on a cubic lattice,
introducing the retraceable-path approximation for the hole Green's function,
exact in a one-dimensional lattice. Metzner et al. showed that the
approximationalso becomes exact in the infinite-dimensional limit. We introduce
a new approach to this problem by resumming the Nagaoka expansion of the
propagator in terms of non-retraceable skeleton-paths dressed by
retraceable-path insertions. This resummation opens the way to an almost
quantitative solution of the problemin all dimensions and, in particular sheds
new light on the question of the position of the band-edges. We studied the
motion of the hole on a double chain and a square lattice, for which deviations
from the retraceable-path approximation are expected to be most pronounced. The
density of states is mostly adequately accounted for by the
retra\-ce\-able-path approximation. Our band-edge determination points towards
an absence of band tails extending to the Nagaoka energy in the spectrums of
the double chain and the square lattice. We also evaluated the spectral density
and the self-energy, exhibiting k-dependence due to finite dimensionality. We
find good agreement with recent numerical results obtained by Sorella et al.
with the Lanczos spectra decoding method. The method we employ enables us to
identify the hole paths which are responsible for the various features present

Entanglement and Nonunitary Evolution
We consider a collapsing relativistic spherical shell for a free quantum
field. Once the center of the wavefunction of the shell passes a certain radius
R, the degrees of freedom inside R are traced over. We show that an observer
outside this region will determine that the evolution of the system is
nonunitary. We argue that this phenomenon is generic to entangled systems, and

Relatively Inexact Proximal Point Algorithm and Linear Convergence Analysis
Based on a notion of relatively maximal (m)-relaxed monotonicity, the approximation solvability of a general class of inclusion problems is discussed, while generalizing Rockafellar's theorem (1976) on linear convergence using the proximal point algorithm in a real Hilbert space setting. Convergence analysis, based on this new model, is simpler and compact than that of the celebrated technique of Rockafellar in which the Lipschitz continuity at 0 of the inverse of the set-valued mapping is applied. Furthermore, it can be used to generalize the Yosida approximation, which, in turn, can be applied to first-order evolution equations as well as evolution inclusions
