Studies on properties and estimation problems for modified extension of exponential distribution
The present paper considers modified extension of the exponential
distribution with three parameters. We study the main properties of this new
distribution, with special emphasis on its median, mode and moments function
and some characteristics related to reliability studies. For Modified-
extension exponential distribution (MEXED) we have obtained the Bayes
Estimators of scale and shape parameters using Lindley's approximation
(L-approximation) under squared error loss function. But, through this
approximation technique it is not possible to compute the interval estimates of
the parameters. Therefore, we also propose Gibbs sampling method to generate
sample from the posterior distribution. On the basis of generated posterior
sample we computed the Bayes estimates of the unknown parameters and
constructed 95 % highest posterior density credible intervals. A Monte Carlo
simulation study is carried out to compare the performance of Bayes estimators
with the corresponding classical estimators in terms of their simulated risk. A
real data set has been considered for illustrative purpose of the study.Comment: 22,

The purpose of the research is to analyse the effect of the USAge of learning strategies preview, question, read, reflect, ricete, review on fifth grade child story reading students' skills in 15th state elementary school in south Pontianak. The method that has been used was experiment method with forms of Pre-experimental design in the stake one group pretest posttest design. Research population of the entire fifth grad consists of 24 students in 15thstate elementary school in south Pontianak. The research sample was a class sample that is class fifth. Based on the result of data analysis, the mean of pre test was 63,26 and the mean of post test was 69,56. The hypothesis test result using t-test (Polled Variance) with dk 22 on 5 % significant level as known as table t = 1,717 obtained count (table t = 1,717). Then Ha accepted and Ho rejected. It could be conclude that there is an learning strategies preview, question, read, reflect, ricete, review on fifth grade child story reading students' skills in 15th state elementary school in south Pontianak. The result of the calculation on the effect size is 1,02 (high criteria). The Higgs Potential in the Type II Seesaw Model
We perform in the type II seesaw setting, a detailed study of the dynamical
features of the corresponding general renormalizable doublet/triplet Higgs
potential that depends on five dimensionless couplings and two mass parameters
after spontaneous symmetry breaking, and highlight the implications for the
Higgs phenomenology. In particular, we determine i) the complete set of
tree-level unitarity constraints on the couplings of the potential and ii) the
exact tree-level {\sl all directions} boundedness from below constraints on
these couplings. When combined, these constraints delineate precisely the
theoretically allowed parameter space domain within our perturbative
approximation. Among the seven physical Higgs states of this model, the mass of
the lighter (heavier) CP-even state h0 (H0) will always satisfy a theoretical
upper (lower) bound that is reached for a critical value mu_c of mu (the mass
parameter controlling triple couplings among the doublet/triplet Higgses).
Saturating the unitarity bounds we find m_h0 < {\cal O}(0.7 - 1 TeV), while the
upper bound for the remaining Higgses lies in the several tens of TeV. However,
the actual masses can be much lighter. We identify two regimes corresponding to
mu > mu_c and mu < mu_c. In the first regime the Higgs sector is typically very
heavy and only h0 that becomes SM-like could be accessible to the LHC. In
contrast, in the second regime, somewhat overlooked in the literature, most of
the Higgs sector is light. In particular the heaviest state H0 becomes SM-like,
the lighter states being the CP-odd Higgs, the (doubly) charged Higgses and a
decoupled h0, possibly leading to a distinctive phenomenology at the colliders.Comment: 55 pages, 9 figures, no major changes, references added, a comment

Behaviors of Some Soybean Cultivars (Glycine max L.) Yield to Planting Dates and Different Phosphorus Fertilizer Rates
Soybean production components such as planting date, cultivars and phosphorus fertilizer rates affected soybean yield. Two field experiments conducted in extensive field at El-Gahrbia district, Egypt during 2015 and 2016 seasons. The goal of this research was aimed to investigate the influence of sowing date at 1th May, 15th May and 31th May and three phosphorus fertilization rates, i.e. 0, 37.2 and 74.4 kg P2O5/ha on the performance of three soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrl) cultivars i.e. Crawford, Giza 22 and Giza 111 on growth, yield and seed quality. The tallest plants, the thick stem, highest branches number/plant, pods number/plant, seed number/pod, weight of 1000 seed and seed yield/ha were recorded from sown early on first May in the both seasons. The tallest plants, the thick stems and highest number of branches/plant were recorded from sown Crawford cultivar. Whereas maximum number of pods/plant and number of seed/pod were found from sown Giza 111 cultivar in the both seasons. Increasing phosphorous fertilizer rates significantly increased all studied cultivars of seed yield and yield components. Tallest plant, the thick stem, the highest branches number/plant, pods number/plant, seed number/pod, weight of1000 seed and seed yield/ha were produced from phosphorous fertilizer at a rate of 74.4 kg P2O5/ha in the first and second seasons, respectively
Study of Wave and Tidal Currents at the Coastal Waters of Pasir Jambak Padang City West Sumatra Province
This research was conducted in July 2016 at the coastal waters of Pasir Jambak Padang City West Sumatera Province with intention to determine the characteristics of wave and tidal currents. The stasion observation way is determined by using a purposive method. Research location divided into three stations, where each station consists of three sampling points, the distance between stations of approximately 100 m. Performed during 15 days of observation. Every station was placed parallel to the coastline, a distance less than 100 meters from the beach toward the Sea. High wave at high tide ranges from 0.21 - 0.33 m and 0.23 - 0.35 m at low tide. Wave period ranges from 1.54 to 2.23 seconds at high tide and 1.43 to 1.97 seconds at low tide. Wavelength ranges between 3.86 to 7.8 m at high tide and 3.35 to 6.08 m at low tide. Current velocity ranges between 0.37 to 0.64 m/sec at high tide and 0.36 to 0.51 m/sec at low tide. At the high tide the flow towards the southeast and at the low tide towards to the southwest
Perbandingan Prevalensi Parasit pada Insang dan Usus Ikan Mujair (Oreochromis Mossambicus) yang Tertangkap di Sungai Aloo dan Tambak Kedung Peluk, Kecamatan Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis parasit yang terdapat pada insang dan usus ikan mujair (Oreochromis mossambicus) yang tertangkap di Sungai Aloo dan Tambak Kedung Peluk serta mengetahui prevalensi dari parasit tersebut. Jumlah ikan yang tertangkap di Sungai Aloo yaitu 27 ekor sedangkan di Tambak Kedung Peluk yaitu 40 ekor. Ikan yang diperoleh seluruhnya diukur panjang total dan berat badan kemudian hasil yang diperoleh digunakan untuk uji homogenitas. Nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh untuk Sungai Aloo adalah 0,301 dan Tambak Kedung Peluk adalah 0,937, ini menunjukkan sampel yang diperoleh adalah sama (homogen) karena nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi yaitu 0,05. Organ yang diperiksa yaitu insang dan usus. Pengamatan parasit dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode natif. Pada insang ikan mujair yang diperoleh di Sungai Aloo dan Tambak Kedung Peluk tidak ditemukan ektoparasit. Pada usus ikan mujair di Sungai Aloo ditemukan Ascaris sp. pada fase telur fertil dengan prevalensi sebesar 85%, fase telur yang mengalami pembelahan dengan prevalensi sebesar 22,22%, fase larva dengan prevalensi sebesar 14,8% dan Trichuris trichiura dengan prevalensi sebesar 55,5%. Pada usus ikan mujair di Tambak Kedung Peluk di temukan Ascaris sp. pada fase telur fertil dengan prevalensi sebesar 45%, fase telur unfertil dengan prevalensi sebesar 90% dan fase telur yang belum menetas dengan prevalensi sebesar 40
