Anomalous WWgamma couplings in gamma-proton collision at the LHC
We examine the potential of pp-> p gamma p -> p W q X reaction to probe
anomalous WWgamma couplings at the LHC. We find 95% confidence level bounds on
the anomalous coupling parameters with various values of the integrated
luminosity. We show that the reaction pp -> p gamma p -> p W q X at the LHC
highly improve the current limits.Comment: 12 pages,3 figure
Uncertainties on exclusive diffractive Higgs and jets production at the LHC
Two theoretical descriptions of exclusive diffractive jets and Higgs
production at the LHC were implemented into the FPMC generator: the Khoze,
Martin, Ryskin model and the Cudell, Hern\'andez, Ivanov, Dechambre exclusive
model. We then study the uncertainties. We compare their predictions to the CDF
measurement and discuss the possibility of constraining the exclusive Higgs
production at the LHC with early measurements of exclusive jets. We show that
the present theoretical uncertainties can be reduced with such data by a factor
of 5

Inclusive Higgs boson and dijet production via Double Pomeron exchange
We evaluate Higgs boson and dijet cross-sections at the Tevatron collider via
Double Pomeron exchange when accompanying particles in the central region are
taken into account. Such {\it inclusive} processes, normalized to the observed
dijet rate observed at run I, noticeably increase the predictions for tagged
(anti)protons in the run II with respect to {\it exclusive} ones, with the
potentiality of Higgs boson detection.Comment: 6pages, 4 figure
Azimuthal decorrelation of Mueller-Navelet jets at the Tevatron and the LHC
We study the production of Mueller-Navelet jets at hadron colliders in the
Balitsky-Fadin-Kuraev-Lipatov (BFKL) framework. We show that a measurement of
the relative azimuthal angle \Delta\Phi between the jets can provide a good
testing ground for corrections due to next-leading logarithms (NLL). Besides
the well-known azimuthal decorrelation with increasing rapidity interval
\Delta\eta between the jets, we propose to also measure this effect as a
function of R=k_2/k_1, the ratio between the jets transverse momenta. Using
renormalisation-group improved NLL kernel, we obtain predictions for
d\sigma/d\Delta\eta dR d\Delta\Phi. We analyse NLL-scheme and
renormalisation-scale uncertainties, and energy-momentum conservation effects,
in order to motivate a measurement at the Tevatron and the LHC.Comment: 11 pages, 7 figures, energy conservation effects adde
Exclusive photoproduction of in proton-proton and proton-antiproton scattering
Protons and antiprotons at collider energies are a source of high energy
Weizs\"acker--Williams photons. This may open a possibility to study exclusive
photoproduction of heavy vector mesons at energies much larger than possible at
the HERA accelerator. Here we present a detailed investigation of the exclusive
photoproduction in proton-proton (RHIC, LHC) and proton-antiproton
(Tevatron) collisions. We calculate several differential distributions in , as well as transverse momentum distributions of 's. We
discuss correlations in the azimuthal angle between outgoing protons or proton
and antiproton as well as in the () space. Differently from
electroproduction experiments, here both colliding beam particles can be a
source of photons, and we find large interference terms in azimuthal angle
distributions in a broad range of rapidities of the produced meson. We also
include the spin--flip parts in the electromagnetic vertices. We discuss the
effect of absorptive corrections on various distributions. Interestingly,
absorption corrections induce a charge asymmetry in rapidity distributions, and
are larger for reactions than for the case. The reaction
considered here constitutes an important nonreduceable background in recently
proposed searches for odderon exchange.Comment: 22 pages, 20 figures; dedicated to Kolya Nikolaev on the occasion of

Diffractive SUSY particle production at the LHC
We give detailed predictions for diffractive SUSY Higgs boson and top squark
associated productions at the LHC via the exclusive double pomeron exchange
mechanism. We study how the SUSY Higgs cross section and the signal over
background ratio are enhanced as a function of tangent beta in different
regimes. The prospects are particularly promising in the ``anti-decoupling''
regime, which we study in detail. We also give the prospects for a precise
measurement of the top squark mass using the threshold scan of central
diffractive associated top squark events at the LHC.Comment: 14 pages, 6 fig
Lower bounds for open charm and beauty contributions to F_2
On the basis of some peculiar scaling properties of the OPE coefficient
functions, we give the lower bounds for F_2^{c\bar{c}} and F_2^{b\bar{b}}
independently of the properties of the gluon density function. Predictions for
F_2^{b\bar{b}} within reach of HERA are made.Comment: 10 pages, 4 eps figures. Misprints are corrected and comment is

Unifying approach to hard diffraction
We find a consistency between two different approaches of hard diffraction,
namely the QCD dipole model and the Soft Colour Interaction approach. A
theoretical interpretation in terms of S-Matrix and perturbative QCD properties
in the small regime is proposed.Comment: 4pages, 1 figure, letter submitted for publicatio
