Purpose. Among the trends of hydroabrasive treatment the improving of the accuracy and efficiency of processing equipment is
allocated. Effectiveness can be enhanced by increasing fluid pressure and the number of concurrent working heads. However,
increasing of working pressure leads to intensification of systems of wear of hydrocutting equipment, including calibration tubes, which in turn reflected in the cost of processing. In this regard, an urgent task is improving the stability of calibration tube using the functional-oriented approach. Design/methodology/approach. To analyze the phenomena that occur in calibration tube during the formation of liquid abrasive flow
the software package Flow Vision was used. When modeling the problem of detection of conditionality of diagrams load on the
cross-section of calibration tube with microhermetic parameters of jet erosion was treated, establish the role and activity of wave processes occurring in streams and exert force on the inner diameter of the calibration tube. To address the question of whether the use of certain surface coatings on hydroabrasive resistance the samples with size 40x10x5 mm from titanium alloy VK8 were tested, which is instrumental material of elements of hydroabrasive processing, as no cover, so with a vacuum-plasma coating TiN, with the nitrided layer and the combined coverage of the nitrided layer and TiN.
Findings. сomparative experimental tests have shown that depending on the modes of technological processing, samples with a
combined surface of the nitrided layer and TiN wearless intense than the samples without coating when exposed hydroabrasive
stream. Originality/value. The functional dependence of wear of calibration tubes with coating for criteria of hydroabrasive stability complete the overall methodological information base and certainly contribute to the development of the principle properties of the
surface layer.В работе рассмотрены вопросы исследования устойчивости покрытий TiN, азотированного слоя и комбинированного покрытия из азотированного слоя и TiN в условиях высокоинтенсивного кавитационно-гидроабразивного износа. Получены регрессионные уравнения устойчивости покрытий, нанесенных на основу из твердого сплава типа ВК 8 от условий натекания жидкости. Показаны возможности использования функционально-ориентированного подхода к формированию поверхностного слоя протоковых частей элементов гидрорежущих устройств, доказано повышение их работоспособности
Implications for the 8p12-11 Genomic Locus in Breast Cancer Diagnostics and Therapy: Eukaryotic Initiation Factor 4E-Binding Protein, EIF4EBP1, as an Oncogene
The goal of this research was to elucidate the individual and cooperative role of oncogenes within the frequently amplified 8p12-11 genomic locus which is known to predict poor prognosis and resistance to endocrine therapy in breast cancer. The role of specific oncogenes from the 8p11-12 amplicon in breast tumors is highlighted and the construction of expression constructs for future studies is described. Further exploration of the oncogenic role of Eukaryotic Initiation Factor 4E-Binding Protein (4EBP1, EIF4EBP1) showed 4EBP1 is often highly overexpressed in malignant tumors and is predicted as an essential driving gene in many cancer cell lines in vitro, so we hypothesized 4EBP1 was a driving oncogene in breast cancers. High 4EBP1 gene expression was associated with reduced relapse free patient survival across all breast tumor subtypes, including post treatment tumors. We found 4EBP1 was crucial to the proliferation of all breast cancer cell lines tested, but not normal cells, making it a prime therapeutic target. This is the first report showing 4EBP1 levels influence malignant estrogen receptor α (ER, ESR1) levels, and we also explored the levels of other influential cancer related genes including oncogenes within 8p11-12 which are known to influence ER. Applied data mining and a current clinical trial implied importance for 4EBP1 as a biomarker for therapeutic efficacy, so we explored mTOR inhibition in multiple cell culture models. It is likely 4EBP1 mediates upstream signaling from many known tumorigenic signaling cascades in adaptive and different ways thus it should be further explored and has much potential as a biomarker and target for breast cancer, especially endocrine resistant tumors

INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE AS THE BASIS OF EDUCATIONAL SPACE
The article is based on the idea that all the various external manifestations of the spiritual essence of a person are complicated by the lack of development of target objects, principles, and potential of cultural-educational and pedagogical means of harmonizing the interaction of people. The first place in it is asserting the dialogic style of life of the subjects involved in the cultural and educational space. The analysis of intercultural education as a social institution and sociocultural space for an individual’s socialization has made it possible to suggest that it has the potential to ensure the spiritual security of Ukrainian society, particularly regarding intercultural relations. The authors conclude that dialogue cooperation, as a certain humanitarian technology, should direct all educational discourses into the development of a dialogue of cultures and its orientation towards philosophical reflection in the educational process. Philosophical reflection approximates the notion of “intercultural dialogue” and other terms and even categories that function in scientific and academic life. The article stresses that communication space is often contradictory to determine at least the meaning of these concepts and release them from stereotyped connotations, falsifications and quasi-intellectual layers

Organization of education in the pandemic
The article is devoted to the analysis of recent changes in the form and methods of education due to the coronavirus pandemic. The advantages and disadvantages of online education for educational institutions, students and teachers are studied in detail. Online education can be a useful addition to the learning process even after the pandemic.

Characterization of the Norspermidine/Spermidine Transport Protein, PotD1, in Vibrio cholerae
Biofilm formation increases antibiotic resistance among bacteria; therefore, a thorough understanding of the proteins and molecules affecting biofilm formation is necessary. PotD1, the substrate binding protein of the PotABCD1 spermidine transport system, negatively regulates biofilm formation in the intestinal pathogen Vibrio cholerae. This work characterized the binding properties of PotD1 to its ligands and its effect on biofilm formation through genetic characterization of the binding cleft and the ability of PotD1 to interact with various polyamines, which can alter biofilm levels in this bacterium. The results demonstrated that PotD1 is also responsible for the import of norspermidine. This is the first example of a norspermidine transporter reported. Ligand competition assays showed PotD1 has a higher binding affinity for spermidine over norspermidine. This work also showed the amino acids W252 and D254 play a large role in spermidine transport, and amino acids E168 and W32 play a less important role. Lastly, mutations in the amino acids that diminished spermidine import only had a partial effect on biofilm formation, suggesting spermidine uptake and biofilm formation are partially correlated. Thus, this work demonstrates that PotD1 alters biofilm formation by both its ability to uptake spermidine and through another yet unidentified mechanism
Choosing the preferred method of primary unilateral inguinal hernia repair in men
More than 20 million inguinal hernia surgeries are performed annually. An international group of herniologists recommended performing transabdominal preperitoneal plastic surgery (TAPP), total extraperitoneal plastic surgery, and Liechtenstein hernioplasty in adults. At the moment, there are no criteria for choosing the method of plastic surgery in patients who may have TAPP, Liechtenstein hernioplasty. The study of two groups of 30 patients devided by the method of surgical treatment: transabdominal preperitoneal plastic (TAPP) and Liechtenstein hernioplasty has been carried out. The study included male patients with primary unilateral inguinal hernia older than 18 years. The groups were compared in the early and late postoperative period. The data obtained revealed that in the early postoperative period, patients after TAPP showed a higher level of pain by the visual-analog scale (VAS) in comparison with the patients after Liechtenstein plastic surgery in 3 hours after surgery, with longer operation time. The assessment of pain level by VAS in 1 day after surgery, at the time of discharge, the fever level, the analgesics need, and the hospitalization duration showed the TAPP advantage over Liechtenstein hernioplasty. Long-term results were obtained by Carolinas Comfort Scale (CSS) questionnaire within 3, 6 months after the operation. Patients after TAPP showed slightly better results in comparison with patients after Liechtenstein hernioplasty. Therefore, TAPP is the preferred method of inguinal canal surgery in patients with open and laparoscopic surgery
Task space consensus in networks of heterogeneous and uncertain robotic systems with variable time-delays
This work deals with the leader-follower and the leaderless consensus problems in networks of multiple robot manipulators. The robots are non-identical, kinematically different (heterogeneous), and their physical parameters are uncertain. The main contribution of this work is a novel controller that solves the two consensus problems, in the task space, with the following features: it estimates the kinematic and the dynamic physical parameters; it is robust to interconnecting variable-time delays; it employs the singularity-free unit-quaternions to represent the orientation; and, using energy-like functions, the controller synthesis follows a constructive procedure.
