ABSTRACTThe culture of migration is strongly attached to Minangkabau people that have been going on for generations. Migrating does not mean forgetting the hometown, but it is one expression of love to the family and hometown. This migratory habit provides an inspiration to create a dance work entitled TAKANA, which is taken from the Minangkabau language which means "remember". The meaning of “remember” here is when someone migrates, not only achieving how successful and happy life is, but also how much the value of life makes someone a better person, and when he is successful does not forget his identity and hometown. Keywords: Minangkabau, Migration, Choreography, Takana

In this study, student from Mechanical Engineering Course has performed an analysis on energy assessment in a single household to increase awareness of energy usage in residential area that have 3 rooms. As we know, energy is one of the most important sources in our daily lives. If energy sources are used excessively, it can cause increased risk of climate change and can increased carbon footprint. For this assessment, there are several objectives that need to be achieved, which are to determine electrical appliances that make use of energy and to assess the energy consumption for a house, contain 3 rooms. It is expected having an awareness will help in adapting energy usage in their daily life. The methodology used in this study is by doing Preliminary Energy Audit which require to collect data energy usage in 3 different houses with multiple number of household members. After data has been collected, the researcher will calculate the energy usage by using the standard tariff used in Malaysia. For the result, the researcher can analyze the cost for energy consumption in all 3 houses. In house 1, since the number of household members is the highest among the others, the energy consumption in that house is high. This is because there are lot of electrical appliances that has been installed in the house. For house 2, the number of household member is only 1 person and this make this house has lowest energy cost per month while the last house has 3 persons living there. From the result, the main factor that can increase the energy usage in a house is the number of household member. The greater the amount of household members, the more energy usage in a house. Besides that, the factor can also change the cost for energy usage is type of home and their characteristic, the geographic location and climate

Zakat institution implements e-Zakat as a new strategy that is able to attract more Muslim to pay zakat through information technology. In Malaysia even the growth of e-Zakat channel, but tradition method remained as popular payment modes because consumers are not convinced of the benefits of using e-payment. There are various reasons and factor that may cause this situation, for example, the lack of customer's technology acceptance since they must change their behavioral pattern and the e-Zakat service that too complicated for some people to understand and to use it. This thesis investigates the factors that affecting customers' perception to use e-Zakat service in Kelantan since in this state has the majority of Muslim. The factors are perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived behavioural control and trust. The focus of this research is on zakat payers in Kelantan whether working at government sector, private sector and others. This thesis was carried out by questionnaire-based surveys to all the workers in the difference gender which is male and female. There is no specific age when distributed the questionnaire. Data collected from 100 customers' that use e-Zakat service and the data was analysing using the SPSS software. The results of regression models revealed that there are three factors that significant with customers' perception which is perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and trust. Another factor perceived behavioural control is not significant with customers' perception because the p-value is more than 0.05

Every registered vehicle posses it's own unique registration number as identity recognition. It is like a citizen owning his or her own identification number in identification card, MyKad for example in Malaysia. This unique vehicle registration number regularly being used as first reference in obtaining information regarding the vehicle. Internationally, it is necessity to display registration number at each front and backside of every vehicles. Application of number plate display format is vary in different countries. Again, the presentation of vehicle registration number plate is persistence as a national vehicle passport. As citizen of a nation, passport is the citizen's pride when travelling and so does the exhibition of Malaysian vehicle number plate. Malaysian vehicle registration number plate was adapted from Britain's car registration number plates that were brought in by the governors from Britain. It was before the establishment of Lembaga Pengangkutan Jalan on 1937. Later on 1st April 1946, Lembaga Pengangkutan Jalan was converted to Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalanraya (JPJ) under Kementerian Pengangkutan dan Jalan. Since establishment, Malaysian vehicle number plate had encountered very few updates in visuals and formats. The outcome of this study will be proposed to Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalanraya Malaysia to overcome the substandard Malaysian vehicle license number plate

Our project is to study about fire fighting at Inai and Teja college at UiTM Arau for one. We need to study about the system because the building is big size and it had been use for a long time. For this size of building, it is not suitable for using only the fire extinguisher. The fire extinguisher in those building is not enough to extinguish to prevent fire from spreading. From our observation, there are many factors that can cause the spreading of fire in that building. A part of the building is made from woods and plastics. Most of them at the ceiling and roof. Because of that, fire fighting reel system is the ideal system for that location. It can prevent the fire from spreading until the rescues arrive. The length of the hoses (100ft) can cover the building from fire. The fire fighting system is the easy system to use. Any body can use this system, when the fire occurs. This proposed fire fighting systems consist 2 pumps, electrical and diesel pump. When the hose reel nozzle is open, the pumps is operated either diesel or electrical pump. The diesel pump is the back up pump if the electric supply is cut-off. In this final project, we have calculated the suitable pumps and draw the pipelines layout for hose reel system. We also include the list of equipments needed and its estimated price to make this project viable. Many requirements in this project are based on JKR, Mechanical Department because all government buildings must obey the requirement and rules from JKR ( Jabatan Kerja Raya ) and Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat

Caper extracts have been reported to possess antibacterial, antifungal, analgesic, antitumor, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective effects. We have isolated polysaccharide and protein sums from buds and fruits of C.spinosa L. cultivated in Uzbekistan. The goal of this research was to investigate anti-inflammatory activity of isolated sums in comparison with ketoprofene. The experiments were made using the formalin-induced paw edema in mice in three variations, at first the investigated substances were introduced to rats per os once, and at the second and third experiment the investigated substances were introduced to the animals for five and ten days. On hemic hypoxia model the investigated substances shown high antixypoxic effects close to Mildronate neo drug (70.7%) at doses of 25 mg/kg for PPSCB (67%) and 150 mg/kg for PPSCF (64.2%). On cytotoxic hypoxia model the effects of both investigated substances also were relatively high and close to Mildronate neo (61%), PPSCB – 56% at a dose of 50 mg/kg, and PPSCF – 58% at a dose of 150 mg/kg. In normobaric hypoxia effects of all investigated substances were less, including the etalon drug (25.4%), PPSCB – 25.5% at dose of 150 mg/kg and PPSCF at 100 mg/kg – 29%. The influence of investigated substances on SOD activity has been investigated. It was established that the both investigated sums at first minute of the test increase SOD activity for PPSCB at a dose of 50 mg/kg by 2.28 times, and PPSCF at a dose of 150 mg/kg by 2.26 times in compare to the control. These results indicated on the increasing of antioxidant protection and improving the oxidative status of experimental animals. Thus, the carried out investigation results shown the high anti-inflammatory, antihypoxic and antioxidant potential of PPSCF and PPSCB products. In combination with their low toxicity these properties make them good candidates for development of effective therapeutic remedies and food additives

While the international donor community has spent millions on Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) prevention through educational programmes, the trend of the spread is rarely analyzed. The aim of this research is to calculate the basic reproductive number for HIV/AIDS spread awareness among community to prevent from increasing cases in the future by analyzing the basic reproductive number. Using the SIR model, this study examines fundamental reproduction numbers and makes predictions regarding the amount of infections. The global HIV/AIDS epidemic poses a threat to the workforce in the national development sector, which is why the problem has become the prime motive for this research. For a country that relies on youth labour, the decrease of such a large number of potential human resources due to this epidemic can have a significant impact on Malaysia. We also present the basic reproduction number, which is a crucial concept in infectious disease epidemiology and refers to the risk of an infectious agent spreading during an outbreak. In methodology part, we also stated step involved to outcome the result which are finding the rate of susceptible, infected and recovered population, set the value of all parameters involved and lastly substitute data and parameters value in each of compartment’s equation. The findings revealed that the forecasted for susceptible and infected HIV/AIDS cases will keep diminish while recovered HIV/AIDS cases raising year after year. This is because the rate of recovery showed that it is less than zero which means it will eventually diminish and no cases for HIV/AIDS infection. The differences between observed and forecasted susceptible, infected and recovered populations among Malaysian commitee is illustrated using Microsoft Excel as a consequence of this study. If HIV/AIDS continues to be a disaster for society, the community will become increasingly conscious of the rate of infectious agent transmission if it is not regulated

Education was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in a variety of ways. The e-learning concept was normalized especially in higher education levels. However, the effectiveness of self-management elements in the present pandemic situation is unclear. This study focuses on assessing the selfmanagement efficiency relationship between time, cost, and self-regulation of e-learning in the COVID-19 atmosphere among students of Islamic studies in a Malaysian public institution of higher learning. Students of Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies in the Universiti Teknologi MARA Shah Alam, Selangor were involved as respondents (n = 457). Data were collected using online questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics. A reliability instrument test has been conducted. Cronbach’s Alpha analysis indicated that the instrument is acceptable for the research (α = 0.791). Spearman rho analysis indicated a significant positive moderate and lowlevel correlation values (ρ < 0.05) for e-learning management efficiency between: (a) self-regulation and time (rs = 0.499); (b) time and cost (rs = 0.269); and (c) cost and self-regulation (rs = 0.224). This study suggests that the students of Islamic studies need to give more attention to time self management as this aspect was indicated as relatively low compared to cost management and self-regulation. Unfortunately, the worldwide scope and pace of today’s educational turbulence are unusual, and if it remains, it may result in mental harm and suffering. It is strongly recommended to develop technical, economical, and psychological support for students in facing e-learning in pandemic challenges. A cross-sectional study on the different universities is recommended for further study

This research discussed the SIR model and how it models the spread of HIV/AIDS in Malaysia. The data used were collected from HIV/AIDS Asia Pacific Research Statistical Data. Several parameters and initial conditions need to be assumed as research limitations such as value of parameter γ and the disease transmission rate, β. The aim of this research is to calculate the basic reproductive number, R0. The basic reproductive number R0, is a measure of the communicable rate of the virus, reflecting the average number of new infections caused by an infected individual in a completely unharmed population from any disease. Then, we applied a numerical solution method, which is Euler's method to predict the susceptible and infected cases. We plot the predicted susceptible and infected cases using Microsoft Excel. Based on the results and the discussion obtained, the transmission is likely to decrease and indicates that disease spread is under relatively reasonable control
