Research using the method of cold expansion hole in the aluminum alloy metal material to a hole with a diameter of 5 mm in expansion using pin with variation of 5,1 mm, 5,15 mm and 5,2 mm made that crack found on the side of the hole would be difficult to propagate due to residual stress comparison. The result shows that there are residual stresses around the hole which varies depending on the diameter of the pin. In addition, there is growing tensile residual stress within a certain distance of the specimen being tested resulted in a faster growth rate, this causes the material USAge time will be shorter

    Yogyakarta adalah tujuan wisata kedua setelah Bali dan merupakan surga wisata di pulau Jawa. Setiap tahunnya wisatawan yang berkunjung di Yogyakarta meningkat 7%-15%. Khususnya dimasa libur panjang ada banyak wisatawan yang berkunjung. Informasi tentang tujuan wisata dapat diperoleh melalui browsur atau katalog wisata, dari internet maupun cerita teman. Namun informasi saja tidaklah cukup jika tidak diramu dengan cepat untuk mendapat alternatif terbaik dalam menentukan tujuan wisata. Atas dasar kebutuhan tersebut maka dibuatlah perancangan aplikasi Case Based Reasoning untuk menentukan tujuan wisata pribadi di Yogyakarta berbasis mobile web. Case Based Reasoning akan membantu menentukan tujuan wisata berdasarkan pengalaman sebelumnya atau kasus yang lama. Hasil penelitian ini berupa perancangan aplikasi Case Based Reasoning untuk menentukan tujuan wisata pribadi di Yogyakarta.     The function of shielding gas is the most importance in gas metal arch welding, because it protected the oxidation from out side. Argon and CO2 are the shielding gas that often used, choosing the CO2 on mixing shielding gas for some reasons that is readystock , cheap and good penetration.The aim of this research are to know the influence of welding current and mixing shielding gas Argon – CO2 against tensile strength and impact strength on weld of medium carbon steel dual phase. The method of this research as follow AISI 1045 steel forged on temprature 900°C - 950°C then dual phase on 770°C holding tome 90 minutes as dependent variables. The Welding currents are 80A, 100A and 120A , mixing shielding gas , Argon – CO2 : ( 0 – 100%), (100% - 0) and (50% - 50%). Both are as independent variables. Tensile strength and impact strength are as fixed variables.From this research, It can be concluded that welding current and shielding gas have the influenced toward heat input and caused the weld metal fusion or unfusion. This situation influenced toward tensile strength and impact strength.It was prooved that on 80A for the 3rd shielding gas had defect (incomplete fusion and porosity) so the tensile strength and impact strength was very low. On 120A, ArCO2 mixing shielding gas had the highest tensile and impact strength because no defect in it, good fusion

    Validity and Reliability of Lupus Quality of Life Questionnaire in Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in Indonesia

    Background: The development of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) treatment has led the increased of patients survival. Quality of life has became a value based medicine component that should be evaluated in treating SLE. One standardized questionnaire to asses the quality of life in SLE patients is Lupus Quality of Life (Lupus QoL). Currently, in Indonesia, there has not been any spesific questionnaire to asses the quality of life in SLE patients. This study aims to prove that Lupus QoL is valid and reliable to asses the quality of life in SLEpatients in Indonesia.Methods: This study used cross sectional study method. Firstly, we translated the Lupus QoL into Indonesian language, then we tested to 10 respondents. Then, we continued the study with larger sample size. We analyzed the reliability of the test and the re-test result using the interclass coefficient correlation and the internal consistency of the tests using cronbach alpha. Construct validity was evaluated using multi trait scaling analysis and the extrenal validity was evaluated using correlation between domains in short form 36 (SF 36)with Lupus QoL and with disease activity.Results: Data collection was done to 65 SLE patients between October – November 2015 in RSCM. The test has good external validity SF 36 (r=0.38-0.66, p0.4; range: 0.44-0.93). The ICC value in one week >0.7 and Cronbach α was>0.7 in each domain. The correlation between lupus QoL and the disease activity was weak and consistentwith other studies.Conclusion: Lupus QoL questionnaire is valid and reliable to asses the quality of life in SLE patients inIndonesia

    Filler composite material with natural fibers is ranging widely known in the manufacturing industry. Environmentally friendly material, able to be recycled, as well as able to destroy it self by nature is a technological demands of today. Coco fiber and pith of sago pulp fiber are natural fibers that derived from the processing of waste coconut and sago palms are abundant in the Moluccas and they have not been used optimally. Both of these materials can be used for the manufacture of composite, using polyester resin as the matrix. The research emphasis to get the maximum value of variation of fiber volume fraction and fiber coir pith of sago waste to the value of bending strength and impact strength, according to the desired application. Research methods Lay Hands Up in the manufacture of hybrid fiber composites with a combination of coconut fiber (SSK): sago pith pulp fibers (SES) with a variation of 10% SSK: SES40%, 20% SSK: SES30%, 30% SSK: SES20%, 40% SSK: SES10%. Dependent variable in the study is the bending strength and impact strength. The result is that an increase in bending strength and impact strength with increasing volume fraction, which is higher than the hybrid fiber coir fiber and coconut fiber pith of sago waste. The highest bending strength of the fiber volume fraction of 30%SSK: SES20%, amounting to 97 354 MPa, and the lowest bending force on the fiber volume fraction of 10% SSK: SES40% of 73 701 MPa, while the highest value of impact strength at SSK fiber volume fraction of 40% :SES10%, at 0178 J/mm², and the lowest value of the impact strength on the fiber volume fraction of 10% SSK : SES40% at 0.053 J/mm²

    The government think tanks institution basically serves as a bridge between science and government policy. One of Bappenas duties and functions is as government think tanks. To find the appropriate institutional form, this study elaborates the institutional think tanks of foreign governments. This qualitative approach describes some of the best practice models including the Korean Development Institute (KDI) - South Korea, the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog - India, the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) - Thailand, and Productivity Commission (PC) - Australia. From these 4 institutional models, this study provides 4 alternative options as recommendations. First, the government can revitalize some organs in Bappenas to become a government think tank unit. If the Bappenas institution still holds the planning and budgeting functions, this is the best fit. It refers to NSEBD - Thailand. Second, transform Bappenas into a whole government think tank, with reference to NITI Aayog - India. Third, releasing work units implementing think tank functions at Bappenas to become a special think tank under Bappenas, with reference to KDI - South Korea. Fourth, new institutional think-tanks are formed under the president by utilizing the existing government think tanks institutional resources such as Bappenas and Research and Development Units underline ministries

    Existing business processes on a Clinical laboratory located in Bekasi is still run manually. It takes a lot of time to do more process, especially in customer service and procurement units. These inefficient processes are analyzed here. Utilization of information technology (IT) supports operations of company and even improves efficiency and effectiveness of a company. However, the use of information technology must be balanced with readiness of existing resources to operate. Without supporting resources, especially human resources available, information technology is nothing. Business Reengineering Process method used to comprehend the existing business process, determine processes to be reengineered, investigate alternative redesign, simulate the existing business processes and the proposed business processes, performed an analysis of simulation results, and seeking opportunities in corporate using information technology.This Business Process Reengineering (BPR) research helped Clinical laboratory especially in customer service and procurement in improving efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes that will ultimately reduce cost and time.
