Pajak merupakan sumber penerimaan Negara, salah satu alternatif peningkatan penerimaan pajak adalah peningkatan Pajak Penghasilan (PPh). Dalam upaya peningkatan penerimaan pajak penghasilan diperlukan suatu perencanaan yang dapat memperkirakan tingkat penerimaan pajak yang wajar yaitu melalui faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi penerimaan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya kepatuhan wajib pajak dan pencairan tunggakan pajak terhadap penerimaan pajak penghasilan orang pribadi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa kepatuhan wajib pajak dan pencairan tunggakan pajak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerimaan pajak. Pimpinan Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Manado sebaiknya meningkatkan kepatuhan wajib pajak melalui penyuluhan sehingga tercipta kesadaran untuk membayar pajak, demikian juga terhadap pencairan tunggakan pajak agar penerimaan pajak lebih optimal dan meningkat. Hipertensi adalah suatu kondisi di mana seseorang mengalami peningkatan tekanan darah di atas normal pada pemeriksaan tekanan darah. Berdasarkan kriteria JNC-VII yang diterapkan di Indonesia Hipertensi dinyatakan sebagai tekanan darah sama dengan atau lebih dari 140/90 mmHg. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor itukebanyakanmempengaruhi pasien kecemasan hipertensi di Rumah Sakit Umum M.Th. Djaman Sanggau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analisis denganCpendekatan.  This study using purposive sampling involved 45 samples of hypertensive patients undergoing treatment at the hospital M.Th.Djaman Sanggau. Data analysis using Chi-Square. The result is there was no relationship between age and anxiety levels of hypertension patients p = 0.246 (p> 0.05), there was no relationship between sex with anxiety levels of hypertension patients p = 0.495 (p> 0.05), there was a relationship between the level of education and the level of anxiety of patients hypertension p = 0.011 (p <0.05). There is a relationship between work with the anxiety level of hypertension patients p = 0,000 (p <0,05). There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge with the level of anxiety of patients with hypertension p = 0.001 (p <0.05). Anxiety is directly related to an increase in blood pressure so that someone needs to do counseling related to his condition to reduce anxiety, and need changes from individuals to change the risk factors for hypertension with healthy lifestyles such as fruit, vegetables, exercise regularly and reduce excessive consumption of calories and fat

Vascular neurocognitive disorders and the vascular risk factors

Dementias are clinical neurodegenerative diseases characterized by permanent and progressive transformation of cognitive functions such as memory, learning capacity, attention, thinking, language, passing judgments, calculation or orientation. Dementias represent a relatively frequent pathology, encountered at about 10% of the population of 65-year olds and 20% of the population of 80-year olds. This review presents the main etiological forms of dementia, which include Alzheimer form of dementia, vascular dementia, dementia associated with alpha-synucleionopathies, and mixed forms. Regarding vascular dementia, the risk factors are similar to those for an ischemic or hemorrhagic cerebrovascular accident: arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, smoking, obesity, age, alcohol consumption, cerebral atherosclerosis/ arteriosclerosis. Several studies show that efficient management of the vascular risk factors can prevent the expression and/ or progression of dementia. Thus, lifestyle changes such as stress reduction, regular physical exercise, decreasing dietary fat, multivitamin supplementation, adequate control of blood pressure and serum cholesterol, and social integration and mental stimulation in the elderly population are important factors in preventing or limiting the symptoms of dementia, a disease with significant individual, social, and economic implications

Metabolic Profiling of IDH Mutation and Malignant Progression in Infiltrating Glioma.

Infiltrating low grade gliomas (LGGs) are heterogeneous in their behavior and the strategies used for clinical management are highly variable. A key factor in clinical decision-making is that patients with mutations in the isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 and 2 (IDH1/2) oncogenes are more likely to have a favorable outcome and be sensitive to treatment. Because of their relatively long overall median survival, more aggressive treatments are typically reserved for patients that have undergone malignant progression (MP) to an anaplastic glioma or secondary glioblastoma (GBM). In the current study, ex vivo metabolic profiles of image-guided tissue samples obtained from patients with newly diagnosed and recurrent LGG were investigated using proton high-resolution magic angle spinning spectroscopy (1H HR-MAS). Distinct spectral profiles were observed for lesions with IDH-mutated genotypes, between astrocytoma and oligodendroglioma histologies, as well as for tumors that had undergone MP. Levels of 2-hydroxyglutarate (2HG) were correlated with increased mitotic activity, axonal disruption, vascular neoplasia, and with several brain metabolites including the choline species, glutamate, glutathione, and GABA. The information obtained in this study may be used to develop strategies for in vivo characterization of infiltrative glioma, in order to improve disease stratification and to assist in monitoring response to therapy

Low energy effective action on a self-gravitating D-brane

Recently the study of braneworld on the self-gravitating D-brane has been initiated and derived the gravitational equation on the brane by holographic and geometrical projection methods. Surprisingly, in common with these two methods, the matter on the brane cannot be the source of the gravity on the brane at leading order. Analisa Hubungan Masa Perikatan Audit dengan Kualitas Audit

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan adanya hubungan masa perikatan audit dengan kualitas audit yang diproksikan ke dalam opini audit berkaitan dengan going concern. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi logistik. Berdasarkan hasil uji dalam penelitian, tidak terbukti bahwa masa perikatan audit memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan opini audit berkaitan dengan going concern. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa independensi auditor tidak terganggu dengan terjadinya perikatan yang lama antara auditee dengan KAP. Hasil penelitian ini konsisten dengan penelitian Lennox (2002) di London dan penelitian Knechel dan Vanstraelen (2007) di Belgia
