Spherical Tuples of Hilbert Space Operators
We introduce and study a class of operator tuples in complex Hilbert spaces,
which we call spherical tuples. In particular, we characterize spherical
multi-shifts, and more generally, multiplication tuples on RKHS. We further use
these characterizations to describe various spectral parts including the Taylor
spectrum. We also find a criterion for the Schatten -class membership of
cross-commutators of spherical -shifts. We show, in particular, that
cross-commutators of non-compact spherical -shifts cannot belong to
for .
We specialize our results to some well-studied classes of multi-shifts. We
prove that the cross-commutators of a spherical joint -shift, which is a
-isometry or a -expansion, belongs to if and only if . We
further give an example of a spherical jointly hyponormal -shift, for which
the cross-commutators are compact but not in for any .Comment: a version close to final on

Program Transformations for Asynchronous and Batched Query Submission
The performance of database/Web-service backed applications can be
significantly improved by asynchronous submission of queries/requests well
ahead of the point where the results are needed, so that results are likely to
have been fetched already when they are actually needed. However, manually
writing applications to exploit asynchronous query submission is tedious and
error-prone. In this paper we address the issue of automatically transforming a
program written assuming synchronous query submission, to one that exploits
asynchronous query submission. Our program transformation method is based on
data flow analysis and is framed as a set of transformation rules. Our rules
can handle query executions within loops, unlike some of the earlier work in
this area. We also present a novel approach that, at runtime, can combine
multiple asynchronous requests into batches, thereby achieving the benefits of
batching in addition to that of asynchronous submission. We have built a tool
that implements our transformation techniques on Java programs that use JDBC
calls; our tool can be extended to handle Web service calls. We have carried
out a detailed experimental study on several real-life applications, which
shows the effectiveness of the proposed rewrite techniques, both in terms of
their applicability and the performance gains achieved.Comment: 14 page
Influence of Waterlogging on Carbohydrate Metabolism in Ragi and Rice Roots
Effect of different durations of waterlogging (4, 8 and 12 days) stress on carbohydrate status and activities of some related enzymes in ragi and rice roots was studied. In both ragi and rice roots there was decrease in starch and total sugar content in response to waterlogging conditions. Activity of α amylase was decrease in ragi roots while opposite trend was noticed in case of rice roots. The activity of pyruvate kinase was markedly increased due to 4, 8 and 12 days waterlogging in ragi roots while such increase was noticed in rice roots due to 12 days stress. Treatment of waterlogging caused enhancement in the activity of alkaline inorganic pyrophosphatase in the roots of both ragi and rice
Extraction, purification and characterization of hyaluronic acid from Rooster comb
Hyaluronic acid, is extract by different procedures from various sources like pig, rabbit, oxes and human are available, but these processes have certain imitations like low yield, and also it requires the killing of these animals which is against the experimental ethics. In the present study, we have carried out the extraction of hyaluronic acid from cock’s comb which was further analyzed with qualitative test, viscosity, UV absorption, endotoxin detection assay. Also, the protein contamination of extracted hyaluronic acid was determined by using SDS-PAGE of hyaluronic acid was studied for checking the protein contaminants and it was noted that there were no bands observed in the well loaded with extracted hyaluronic acid sample indicating that the final extract of hyaluronic acid is not contaminated with the protein. The extraction and purification of hyaluronic acid by using the method reported here give pure hyaluronic acid. The viscosity of extracted hyaluronic acid was found to be 2.55 poise which is economical and can be used for industrial production of hyaluronic acid having clinical application
Certain Generalized Prime elements
In this paper we study different generalizations of prime elements and prove certain properties of these elements
Cloud Computing: Platform and Applications
Cloud computing is the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data and information rather than a local server or a personal computer. Cloud computing is a better way to run your business. Instead of running your apps yourself, they run on a shared data center. The actual term cloud borrows from telephony in that telecommunications companies, who until the 1990s primarily offered dedicated point-to-point data circuits, began offering ldquo;VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK (VPN)rdquo; services with comparable quality of service but at a much lower cost. The cloud symbol was used to denote the demarcation point between that which was the responsibility of the provider from that of the user. Cloud computing extends this boundary to cover servers as well as the network infrastructure. Cost is claimed to be greatly reduced and capital expenditure is converted to operational expenditure. Device and location independence enable users to access systems using a web browser regardless of their location or what device they are using. Itrsquo;s a new era Technology which is famous in Different areas like Business, Education, medical research etc. In this paper we are introducing some applications of cloud Computing such as email, virtual application access,e-learning,backup of online data, with the areas where we can implement these application., we are also focused on real time appliactios of cloud computing. In this paper we focused on different service models of cloud computing such as SAAS,PAAS,IAAS.In Infrastrure as services we have explained private, public, hybrid, distributed, community cloud
