CHANGING SYTOLIC AND DIASTOLIC LV FUNCTION IN CHRONIC HEART FAILURE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF METOPROLOL

    No full text
25 patients with heart failure (HF) were investigated (I FC - 8 patients, II FC - 17 patients). All the patients were administered metoprolol in the average dose 37,5+3,2 mg/day. Dopplerechocardiographic investigation of systolic-diasolic function of the left ventricle (LV) was carried out. Investigations were conducted before the treatment, after 2-week treatment course and in 19 patients after 3-month intake of the preparation. Results of conducted investigation demonstrated, that both short-term (2-weeks) and long-term (during 3 months) intake of metoprolol in the above mentioned dose in patients with HF results in the improvement of systolic and diastolic function of the LV at early and moderate stages of disease

Electron structure and density of states’ calculations of Ag2S and Ag2Se crystals from first-principle

The results of calculations of the electron structure for Ag2S and Ag2Se crystals from first-principle in the framework of density functional theory (DFT) are presented in this work. The origin of the bands from [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] electron states of Ag, S and Se atoms are investigated. It was established that the orthorhombic Ag2Se crystal shows semiconductor properties in P2221and P212121space groups and semimetallic properties in Im-3m space groups with cubic crystal system. Monoclinic crystal type of Ag2S shows semiconductor properties in P21/c space group. However, semimetallic properties manifested itself in monoclinic Ag2S in P21and cubic Ag2S structure in Im-3m phases.</jats:p

Dorosh: ORCID 0000-0002-5393-0004ENG: Materials of scientific and practical research within the framework of the implementation of the project of the program of the European Union Erasmus+ «Crisis and Risks Engineering for Transport Services» (CRENG) are presented in the monograph. Issues of the impact of crisis situations on the work of transport enterprises and ways to increase the efficiency of the functioning of transport and logistics systems in conditions of crises and risks are considered. The publication is intended for scientific and pedagogical workers, graduate students and students of higher education, as well as managers and specialists of industrial enterprises and business structures, who are interested in the current state and prospects of the development of scientific research.UKR: У монографії представлено матеріали науково-практичних досліджень в рамках виконання проекту програми Європейського Союзу Еразмус+ "Інжиніринг криз та ризиків для транспортних послуг" (CRENG). Розглянуто питання впливу кризових ситуацій на роботу транспортних підприємств та шляхи підвищення ефективності функціонування транспортно-логістичних систем в умовах криз і ризиків. Видання розраховане на науково-педагогічних працівників, аспірантів і студентів вищих навчальних закладів, а також керівників і фахівців промислових підприємств і бізнес-структур, які цікавляться сучасним станом і перспективами розвитку наукових досліджень.project of the program of the European Union Erasmus+ «Crisis and Risks Engineering for Transport Services» (CRENG
