49). Este trabajo analiza cómo, en las Vidas, la ciudad egipcia concentra un legado del libro paideia, que conduce de Homero a Alejandro y de éste a César como un bastión de integración cultural, no exento de tensiones, en el sincrético y agonal mundo grecorromanoThe Plutarch's Lives of Alexander and Caesar presents an agonal comparison between the two hegemónes based on heroic tales they consider paradigmatic and justify their actions: Alexander read the Achilles' deeds (Alex. 8; 26) and Caesar read the deeds of Alexander himself (Caes. 11). This reader quality takes a strong bookish sense in two passages of his biographies, linked to the city of Alexandria. The first one is the foundation of the Hellenistic city by Alexander (Alex. 26). The second one is the besiege of this city by Caesar, when the fire consumes the Great Library (Caes. 49). This paper analyzes how, in the Lives, the Egyptian city represents the legacy of the book-paideia linking Homer, Alexander and Caesar as a paradigm of cultural integration, not without tensions, in the syncretic Greco-Roman worl

The hop of Magnum cultivar was extracted using supercritical carbon dioxide (SFE-as extractant). Extraction was carried out in the two steps: the first one being carried out at 150 bar and 40°C for 2.5 h (Extract A), and the second was the extraction of the same hop sample at 300 bar and 40°C for 2.5 h (Extract B). Extraction kinetics of the system hop-SFE-CO2 was investigated. Two of four most common compounds of hop aroma (α-humulene and β-caryophyllene) were detected in Extract A. Isomerised α-acids and β-acids were detected too. a-Acid content in Extract B was high (that means it is a bitter variety of hop). Mathematical modeling using empirical model characteristic time model and simple single sphere model has been performed on Magnum cultivar extraction experimental results. Characteristic time model equations, best fitted experimental results. Empirical model equation, fitted results well, while simple single sphere model equation poorly approximated the results

This thesis is about how effective key word clustering to improve the students\u27 recount writing. The research is held at SMP Negeri 17 Pontianak in academic year 2013/2014. The writer applied quasi experimental study on her research with one class as the control group and the other class is the experimental group. From research findings, the mean score of posttest in experimental group was higher than the mean score of posttest in control group (78.3 >54.7). Moreover, the interval of the students\u27 mean score in experimental group was higher than control group (25.1> 0.2). The result of Effect Size was 14.4 (categorized as “strong effect”). The t-value (16.27) was bigger than t-table (1.671). The significant difference could be interpreted that the use of key words clustering is effective to improve the students\u27 achievement in writing recount text.Based on the result of the data computation, it was obtained that the t-test score (16.27) was higher than t-table (1.671) at 0.05 the degree of freedom (df)= + -2 (33+33-2=64). This could prove that teaching recount writing by using key words clustering is effective

Later, the evaluation of the pharmacists’ competencies was performed at two observation points (at the beginning of the study and after 6 months) by the team of seven GLF members. Results and Discussion: The GLF document was reviewed by 14 members of the expert panel. During the content validation performed at the expert panel meeting, all competencies stated in the GLF document were rated according to their importance with an average grade of between 8.26 and 9.80 and thus reached a consensus regarding all 26 competencies. During the evaluation of the pharmacists’ competences, the greatest improvement after the second observation was noted in the “Patient consent” competency, followed by the “Drug history”, “The prescription is legal“, “Health needs”, “Provision of written information” and “Assessing outcomes of contributions” competencies.
