Analisis Pendapatan dan Kesejahteraan Produsen Jamur Tiram di Kota Metro

The purposes of this research are to: (1) determine income oyster mushroom producer in Metro City, (2) determine welfare level of oyster mushroom producer in Metro City. This experiment was conducted in Metro City that was chosen by purposive in December 2013 until May 2014. It was considered that the Metro City has high enough in producing the oyster mushroom. This study takes 42 producers. This study used a census method with qualitative and quantitative analysis. Analysis of the data used descriptive qualitative analysis with tabulation method and descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that: (1) The average income of oyster mushroom in Metro City was in high income, consist of farming income of their own activities (on farm), from outside of their own activities (off farm) and from outside of farming activities (non farm). The biggest income of oyster mushroom in Metro City is sourced from income of oyster mushroom farming, (2) Most of oyster mushroom farmer in Metro City was in enough and in suitable live based on Sajogjo\u27s criteria (1997), and also included to welfare category based on the criteria of BPS (2007)

Pelanggaran terhadap Undang-undang dan peraturan Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) akan berakibat hukum. Dengan demikan diperlukan Hubungan Masyarakat yang lazim dikenal sebagai penghubung antara institusi, lembaga dengan masyarakat, terkait publikasi atau penjelasan kinerja, disingkat menjadi (Humas). Kedudukannya dalam struktur lembaga yang menaunginya, dikenal dalam berbagai bentuk, diantaranya, Biro, Bagian, Bidang, Unit, dipimpin oleh seorang pejabat yang diberikan kewenangan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan (SK), yang menguraikan Tujuan, Pokok dan Fungsi (Tupoksi). Salah satu fungsi pokok Humas adalah pembuatan rilis berita, untuk disebarluaskan kepada masyarakat, terkait kinerja lembaga atau institusi yang membentuknya. Untuk fungsi kerja itu Humas berkewajiban membangun kemitraan dengan media, baik cetak, elektronika maupun online (Website). Berdasarkan pertimbangan pengembangan keilmuan Humas, juga pers atau kewartawanan, dilaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan bagi Staf Kantor Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan (Sulsel), yang dengannya diharapkan tercapai pemahaman yang paripurna dalam kerja-kerja kehumasan yang harus mereka jalankan dalam menghadapi Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu), baik legislatif, eksekutif, maupun Pemilihan Langsung Kepala Daerah (Pilkada)

A two-species continuum model for aeolian sand ripples

We formulate a continuum model for aeolian sand ripples consisting of two species of grains: a lower layer of relatively immobile clusters, with an upper layer of highly mobile grains moving on top. We predict analytically the ripple wavelength, initial ripple growth rate and threshold saltation flux for ripple formation. Numerical simulations show the evolution of realistic ripple profiles from initial surface roughness via ripple growth and merger.Comment: 9 pages, 3 figure

Needle localization of non-palpable breast lesions

Screening mammography identifies suspicious, non palpable mammary lesions. Mammographic needle localization (MNL) is currently being used to facilitate excision biopsy of these lesions. Thirty-two patients underwent biopsies of the breast after MNL for non-palpable lesions. Mammographic indications for biopsy consisted of microcalcifications (48%), mass or abnormal density (21%) or mass+abnormal density (24%). The carcinoma was identified in four cases (12%). Two of these were in situ, one was microinvasive and one was frankly invasive. Three were treated with a modified radical mastectomy. One of these non palpable lesion demonstrated nodal metastasis but none showed distant metastasis. All radiologically detected abnormalities were removed and confirmed with repeat radiology. No complications were identified. MNL effectively localizes non-palpable lesion of the breast and compliments accurate diagnosis and treatment of early carcinoma of the breast

British citizenship, gender and migration: the containment of cultural differences and the stratification of belonging

Debates about integration, British values and identity, who can belong and who can become a citizen, have been fuelled by concerns about growing cultural diversity in the United Kingdom. To promote a shared sense of national identity and claim a universal and normative citizen subject, the UK government, along with many other western nations, has introduced compulsory citizenship and language testing. This article traces and critiques the evolution of the British citizenship test since its introduction in 2005 and argues that the regime fails to recognise the gendered and segmented nature of migration, and functions as a silent and largely invisible mechanism of civic stratification and control. Drawing on Home Office data, it is argued that citizenship testing enables the government to cherry pick migrants who conform to an idealised citizen subject, while containing cultural difference by excluding others, particularly women, who are tolerated but remain symbolic non-citizens

Comparative analysis of machine learning algorithms on myoelectric signal from intact and transradial amputated limbs

Control strategies of smart hand prosthesis-based myoelectric signals inrecent years don't provide the patients with the sensation of biologicalcontrol of prostheses hand fingers. Therefore, in current workhyperparameters optimization in machine learning algorithm and handgesture recognition techniques were applied to the myoelectric signal-basedon residual muscles contraction of the amputees corresponding to intactforearm limb movement to improve their biological control. In this paper,myoelectric signals are extracted using the MYO armband to recognize tengestures from ten volunteers (healthy and transradial amputation) on theforearm, thereafter the noise of myoelectric signals using a notch filter (NF)is removed. The proposed classification system involved two machinelearning algorithms: (1) the decision tree (DT), tri-layered neural network(TLNN), k-nearest-neighbor (KNN), support vector machine (SVM) andensemble boosted tree (EBT) classifiers. (2) the optimized machine learningclassifiers, i.e., OKNN, OSVM, OEBT with optical diffraction tomography(ODT) and ommatidia detecting algorithm (ODA). The experimental resultsof classifiers comparison pointed out an algorithm that outperformed withhigh accuracy is OEBT closely followed by OKNN achieves an accuracy of97.8% and 97.1% for intact forearm limb, while for transradial amputationwith an accuracy of 91.9% and 91.4%, respectively

Kajian Tahlili Hadis tentang Celaan terhadap Makanan

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas hadis celaan terhadap makanan adalah sahih dari segi sanad maupun matannya. Kandungan hadis mengenai celaan terhadap makanan menjelaskan bahwa setiap yang ada di bumi adalah bentuk nikmat dari Allah swt. kemudian kewajiban sebagai makhluk untuk bersyukur dan saling menghargai. Hadis celaan terhadap makanan, didalamnya terdapat sikap Rasulullah saw ketika menghadapi makanan yang tidak beliau gemari untuk memperlihatkan cara menghargai segala sesuatu yakni dengan cara diam atau meninggalkannya. Implementasi hadis celaan terhadap makanan,peneliti menyatakan bahwa penerapannya dalam masyarakat menjadi luas, sehingga tidak lagi dimaknai dalam cakupan kecil
