A Note on the Laminar Heat Transfer in an Annulus

    Get PDF
An exact solution for the fluid temperature due to forced convective heat transfer in an annulus is obtained as a solution of the eigen value problem

Antimicrobial Activity of Mollugo cerviana ser. (Molluginaceae)

    Get PDF
The ethanolic extracts of aerial shoots of Mollugo cerviana and its leaf derived callus were tested for antimicrobial activity using the filter paper disk assay method. Both the extracts showed antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia Coli. The antifungal activity of the extracts against Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus was nil or negligible

Anesthesia Management in an Edentulous Patient with Huge Parotid Tumour: Case Report

    Get PDF
Huge head and neck tumors are known to cause difficult ventilation and difficult intubation. Edentulous mouth can result in difficult mask ventilation. Head and neck tumor resections can also present hemodynamic challenge, due to their proximity to large vessels. We herein report a clinical case of difficult ventilation due to large parotid tumor in an edentulous patient

Flow of micropolar fluid through a tube with stenosis

    No full text
mathematical model for the steady flow of non-Newtonian fluid through a stenotic region is presented. The results indicate that the general shape and size of the stenosis together with rheological properties of blood are important in understanding the flow characteristics and the presence of flow separation
