    Agent-Based Modeling for Efficiency Policy of Households\u27 Electricity Consumption in Bandung City

    There are many argumentations that the government subsidy in electricity, for holding down the electricity fares, has encouraged extravagant use of electricity. Therefore, the Government Budget (APBN) Burden for this subsidy becomes higher than it necessary. Some experts have argued that this money can actually be used for other necessary and urgent spending such as infrastructure development. The purpose of this research is to build an agent-based model and simulation to explore the dinamic of electricity consumption in Indonesia, especially in Bandung City. Several interviews were conducted about households\u27 behaviors in consuming electricity to build the model. Then, the parameter was set based on the data collected with questionaire and secondary data source. The model was tested for its validity and sensitivity to the change in the controlled parameter. The simulation is expected to provide the government with a combination of electricity fare to various households electricity market segments to ensure an economic use of electricity. Some scenarios were run and the emergent property, the whole system electricity consumption,were observed to find out the best policy to encourage efficient use of electricity in the system

    On research wirelees sensor system design for monitoring velocity and direction of water. Monitoring the flow of water is needed in the field of irrigation and industry, mitigation of floods and many other applications. The system is made comprises a remote terminal unit (RTU) and control terminal unit (CTU). On the RTU are ATSAM3X8E microcontroller and microprocessor that transmit data through WiFi and received by personal computers that are in the CTU. RTU transmit the bases data to the CTU. The water velocity outtakes using waterflow sensor, which changes the magnitude of the flow rate to a variable frequency. Sensor waterflow associated with Schmitt trigger so that the output signal of the sensor is more accurate when read by the microcontroller. The frequency is read by the microcontroller and sent to a RTU computer. Flow direction in the sensor using a potensio that changed the angle (direction) into the barriers and voltage. The data is read by the analog to digital converter (ADC) microcontroller and sent to a RTU computer. Data flow velocities is calibrated with a standard velocitiy and linear correlation coefficient of 0.9997. Results of testing the angle of the magnitude of standard (protractor) linear correlation coefficient of 1. From these tests it can be concluded that the equipment is fit for use

    Development of science and technology is growing rapidly, especially in the field of electronics. Many human activities and industrial activities that produce pollutant gases such as CO disturb the environment. It needs a CO gas concentration monitoring tool for controlling the gas in the environment. The tool is made to measure the concentration of CO gas from long distance so that the monitoring can be done safely by using telemetry. The telemetry system is built by using minimum system microcontroller ATmega8535 to convert analog to digital data from the sensor. For the measurement of the CO gas concentration using MQ-7 sensor which utilizes USART as a serial data communication and WiFi as a wireless data transmission. The result of reading ADC value from MQ-7 sensor is converted into concentration value. The data that has been acquired by a computer then stored in a database and transmitted through WiFi network. Testing of the data transmission system is done by sending a number of data from transmitter to receiver. The comparison of data that is sent and received has an error rate of 0%. Data viewer interface is made using HTML and PHP by displaying several variables such as: temperature, humidity and CO gas concentration. Web browser is used to access the database of the transmitter by entering the IP address of the PC on the transmitter. This CO gas measurement tool helps the efficiency of time in the measurement and be safe in monitoring because it is done from long distance

    The purpose of this study is to know the prospects of tourism development Kayangan Lake Bandar Lembah Sari Pekanbaru city, and to identify and analyze the factors driving and inhibiting the development of Bandar Kayangan Lake travel Lembah Sari Pekanbaru. The population in this study are all the visitors who come to Lake City Kayangan Lembah Sari Pekanbaru City in 2015. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling is a sampling technique that does not give an opportunity or equal opportunity for each element or member of the population to be elected sample. Data is collected when visitors are in Lake City Kayangan Lembah Sari Pekanbaru. Determination of a minimum number of samples for the study was calculated based on a decent sample size between 30 - 500 in this study using a sample of 100 respondents. The results showed that the SWOT analysis in prospect in the development of Lake City Kayangan Lembah Sari is known that as a strength that is: Develop attractions clearly, Pendidikandan training in order to reduce costs in the operations of attraction, USAge attractions computerized, cooperation with those who need Attraction , As a drawback, namely: Snag a job based on experience, A review of the potential attractions, There are no emergency procedures about tourist attractions, audit results on the attraction was not followed up.
