Bilingualism Implications in Primary Classroom Interactive Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Singaraja Bali. This paper reveals the reality of these implications. Its context does not concern only in the language learning, but into the education in broadest sense also. It is because bilingualism “force” teachers to consider language teaching in the classroom instruction. Generally, students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Singaraja Bali-as an Islamic Primary School- have Indonesian language background (L1). Indonesian language used with various dialects of Balinese language and its vocabulary. The use of Indonesian as their everyday language is caused their parents from neighborhood background and the multi-ethnic milieu. Their parents are fourth and fifth generation of their forefather, and almost had not used their native language in family domain. The migrant families were mostly traders, laborers, and some of them are civil servants. Balinese language, as L2 acquired in social domain especially in secondary scholl. Pengembangan Modul Biologi Berorientasi Quantum Teaching Dilengkapi Peta Pikiran Untuk Siswa Kelas XI SMA
Biologi merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang berhubungan denganalam. Dalam mata pelajaran biologi ini, banyak konsep-konsep penting yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa. Namun demikian tidak semua materi dapat dipahami oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran. Untuk membantu siswa dalam memahami materipelajaran dibutuhkan media pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran tersebut adalah modul yang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Kenyataan yang ditemui di SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul biologi berorientasi Quantum Teaching dilengkapi peta pikiran. Modul pembelajaran ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model 4-D yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), design (Perancangan), Pada tahap development (Pengembangan). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor rata- rata 88,40 % dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji praktikalitas modul pembelajaran oleh guru memperoleh skor rata- rata90,73% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Uji praktikalitas modul pembelajaran oleh siswa memperoleh skor rata- rata 83,20 % dengan kategori sangat praktis. Efektifitas modul pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa yang terdiri dari hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan afektif yang menunjukka n ketuntasan minimal KKM. Hasil penelitian inii dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah dihasilkan modul biologi berorientasi Quantum Teaching dilengkapi peta pikiran untuk siswa kelas XI IPA Sekolah Menengah Atas yang valid, praktis, dan efekti
EFFECTS OF DRYING AND ENSILING METHODS ON CYANIDES CONTENTS AND CHEMICAL COMPONENTS OF CASSAVA ROOTS AND STEMS
The objectives of this experiment was to compare the drying and ensiling methods to reduce cyanides
contents in cassava, as well as related nutrient components. This experiment used roots and stems of cas-sava,
fermented juice of epiphytic lactic acid bacteria (FJLB) and molasses. A completely randomized design
was used in this experiment for 8 treatments. The treatments were 30 o C incubator, 50 o C incubator, 70 o C
oven drying, freeze drying, 2 d incubator 30 o C ensiling, 2 d incubator 50 o C ensiling, 2 w incubator 30 o C
ensiling and 2 w incubator 50 o C ensiling. The contents of HCN, acetone cyanohydrin, linamarin, proximate
components and in vitro dry matter digestibility were determined in each treatment. The result of this experi-ment
showed that the contents of HCN and linamarin in ensiled cassava roots were lower (p<0.01) than in
dried cassava roots. There were no significantly different on residual HCN among treatments in cassava
stems. The content of linamarin was higher in freeze drying than that in heat drying methods (p<0.05).
There was an opposite pattern of acetone cyanohydrins and linamarin content of roots and stems. The
content of dry matter (DM) in 30 o C ensiling was lower than in 50 o C ensiling (p<0.05). The content of ash
increased in cassava roots silage (p<0.01), meanwhile the decreasing of ether extract content was occured
in cassava stem silage (p<0.01). Ensiling method was more effective to reduce cyanide than the drying
method, and cassava silage showed a proper qualification as feed.

Pengaruh Pendekatan Perilaku Kognitif Terhadap Tingkat Penyesuaian Diri Siswa Di Kelas VII
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui (1) Gambaran tingkat penyesuaian diri siswa sebelum dan sesudah pendekatan perilaku kognitif di SMP Negeri 29 Makassar, dan (2) Pengaruh pendekatan perilaku kognitif terhadap tingkat penyesuaian diri siswa di SMP Negeri 29 Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan model pra-eksperimen dengan one-group pretest-posttest design. Populasi adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 29 Makassar tahun pelajaran 2010/2011 dengan jumlah siswa 240 orang dan sampel sebanyak 12 orang yang ditentukan secara purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi dan skala penyesuaian diri. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah (1) analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan penyesuaian diri siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, dan (2) uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan perilaku kognitif terhadap tingkat penyesuaian diri siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) gambaran tingkat penyesuaian diri siswa sebelum diberi pendekatan perilaku kognitif berada pada kategori “rendah dan sedang” setelah diberi pendekatan perilaku kognitif dengan teknik tingkat penyesuaian diri siswa mengalami peningkatan yang berada pada kategori tinggi, dan (2) ada pengaruh positif pendekatan perilaku kognitif dalam meningkatkan penyesuaian diri siswa
Total Quality Management dalam Memajukan Pendidikan Islam
Apikasi Total Quality Management (TQM) di beberapa lembaga pendidikan Islam sudah mulai nampak dewasa ini. Hal ini disebabkan semakin tingginya persaingan antar lembaga pendidikan Islam. Prinsip umum Total Quality Management meliputi delapan (8) hal yaitu: Mengutamakan Ketercapaian Kepuasan Pelanggan (Customer Focus Organization,), Kepemimpinan (Leadership), Keterlibatan Seluruh Partisipan (People Organization), Pendekatan yang menekankan pada perbaikan proses (Process Approach), Pendekatan sistem (System Approach), Perbaikan secara terus menerus (Continual Improvement), Pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan fakta (Factual Approach to Decision Making), dan hubungan dengan supplier yang saling menguntungkan (Mutually Beneficial Relationship). Jika penerapan prinsip umum Total Quality Management yang telah disebutkan dilaksanakan oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam secara serius, maka diyakini peningkatan kualitas output yang diharapkan akan dengan mudah dapat dicapai dan akan dapat bersaing dengan lembaga pendidikan lain baik di tingkat nasional bahkan Internasional sekalipun
Pengaruh On The Job Training dan Off The Job Training terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Studi pada Karyawan Bagian Kantor PTPN V Unit Kebun Lubuk dalam Kabupaten Siak)
This study used 3 variables, namely: on the job training, off the job training, and employee performance. The on the job training had 2 dimensions, coaching and job rotatian. In the variable off the job training have 2 dimensions of simulation and presentation of information. In the variable Employee Performance has 3 dimensions of the quantity of work, quality of work, and timeliness. Objects in this study are employees of the Division at PTPN V Unit Kebun Lubuk In Siak Regency amounting to 77 employees. The analysis used in this research is Validity Test, Reliability Test, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, Determination Test (R2), Individual for Significant Test (t test) and Significant Test (F test).The results showed the influence of On The Job Training and Off The Job Training on Employee Performance. The more frequent the On The Job Training and Off The Job Training then the better level of Employee Performance on the. Subsequently, the resulted data from quisoner is calculated and tested with statistics through SPSS program. The calculated result is known that R square is coefficient of determination. So that, it obtained the value of R square is about 0,511. It is meaned that the influence of variable On The Job Training and Off The Job Training variables was 51.1%. to employee perfomance variables
Human Pappilomavirus Genotype in Cervical Tissue of Patients with Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN) 1, CIN 2, and CIN 3
Objectives: to determine the genotype of HPV in patients with precancerous lesions of cervical tissue.Materials and Methods: An observational study with cross sectional study of patients paraffin block CIN1, CIN2, CIN3 was conducted in Dr Soetomo Hospital. HPV DNA was extracted from paraffin blocks, then performed PCR and genotyping of HPV. The sample consisted of 28 patients with cervical tissue paraffin blocks CIN1, CIN2 and CIN3. Patients aged between 26-74 years (standard deviation 10,12).Results: HPV genotypes that infect patients with CIN1 were HPV16 and 18, CIN2 were HPV16 and 52 and CIN3 were HPV16, 67, and combined infection HPV16/67 and HPV52/67. HPV genotypes in a single infection were 26/28 (HPV16, HPV18, HPV52 and HPV67), and multiple infections were 2/28 (HPV16/67 and HPV52/67).Conclusion: The most dominant HPV genotypes infect patients with precancerous lesions of the cervix were HPV16, HPV67, HPV52, and HPV18
