Stakeholder involvement in policy evaluation and development in 11 European countries: synthesis results
In an effort in bringing together stakeholders of the organic farming and general agricultural policy sector within the EU in April Mai 2004 a group of stakeholders met for a one day-workshop in 11 European countries (AT, GB, DE, DK, IT, CH, CZ, PL, SI, EE, HU) to formulate policy recommen¬dations for the development of organic farming sector. Close personal contact of participants in these workshops facilitated policy learning and innovation at the national level and provided a platform to form alliances to decide on further actions. This contribution presents the synthesised results from all national workshops highlighting the current situation of organic farming policy in Europe and providing recommendations for future policy instruments
A lattice determination of QCD field strength correlators
We study field strength correlators in presence of a static quark-antiquark
pair by use of lattice methods. The lattice data have been acquired recently in
the context of a determination of relativistic corrections to the static
interquark potential. We extract independent estimates of the form factors of
two point correlation functions and investigate the effect of higher order
correlators. Our results confirm the dominance of the two point correlators in
the regions of intermediate and large quark separations, and are compatible

Improvement of Tuberculosis Laboratory Capacity on Pemba Island, Zanzibar: A Health Cooperation Project.
Low-income countries with high Tuberculosis burden have few reference laboratories able to perform TB culture. In 2006, the Zanzibar National TB Control Programme planned to decentralize TB diagnostics. The Italian Cooperation Agency with the scientific support of the "L. Spallanzani" National Institute for Infectious Diseases sustained the project through the implementation of a TB reference laboratory in a low-income country with a high prevalence of TB. The implementation steps were: 1) TB laboratory design according to the WHO standards; 2) laboratory equipment and reagent supplies for microscopy, cultures, and identification; 3) on-the-job training of the local staff; 4) web- and telemedicine-based supervision. From April 2007 to December 2010, 921 sputum samples were received from 40 peripheral laboratories: 120 TB cases were diagnosed. Of all the smear-positive cases, 74.2% were culture-positive. During the year 2010, the smear positive to culture positive rate increased up to 100%. In March 20, 2010 the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Zanzibar officially recognized the Public Health Laboratory- Ivo de Carneri as the National TB Reference Laboratory for the Zanzibar Archipelago. An advanced TB laboratory can represent a low cost solution to strengthen the TB diagnosis, to provide capacity building and mid-term sustainability

A New Tool for the Lamb Shift Calculation
We solve the Bethe-Salpeter equation for hydrogenic bound states by choosing
an appropriate interaction kernel . We want to use our solution to
calculate up to a higher order the hydrogen Lamb-shift, and as a first
application we present up to order \left(\aa / \pi\right)(\za)^7 the
contribution of the lowest order self-energy graph, calculated {\it exactly}.
The basic formalism is a natural extension to the hydrogenic bound states of
the one previously presented by R. Barbieri and E. Remiddi and used in the case

Poincare' invariance and the heavy-quark potential
We derive and discuss the constraints induced by Poincare' invariance on the
form of the heavy-quark potential up to order 1/m^2. We present two
derivations: one uses general arguments directly based on the Poincare' algebra
and the other follows from an explicit calculation on the expression of the
potential in terms of Wilson loops. We confirm relations from the literature,
but also clarify the origin of a long-standing false statement pointed out
