FUNGSI MEDIA CENTER SEBAGAI MEDIA DISEMINASI INFORMASI PEMERINTAH DAERAH KOTA BENGKULU
Transparency is one of the important principles that must be implemented by government administrators. The principle of transparency can be realized through the dissemination of information to the public, as carried out by the Media Center of the Department of Communication, Information, and State Encryption, Bengkulu City Government. This study aims to explain the function Media Center through the website https://mediacenter.benngkulukota.go.id in disseminating information to the public based on Law No. 14 of 2008. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, by interviewing three informants. The results show that the media center has carried out the information dissemination function well, which can be seen from the quality of news writing that meets the rules of journalistic writing and updates news every day.This function can be realized properly because of the competent human resources involved in the team and the support of supporting infrastructure in the process of reporting information, documentation, and managing information and documentation
Perilaku Komunikasi Remaja Pengguna Aplikasi Tiktok (Studi Pada SMP 15 Bengkulu Selatan)
This research aims to analyze the communication behavior of TikTok social media users, especially non-verbal communication behavior, especially among adolescents at SMPN 15 of South Bengkulu. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations of adolescents at SMPN 15 of South Bengkulu who use TikTok. This research uses communication theory according to Harold Dwight Lasswell. This theory suggests that a good way to explain the communication process is to answer five questions, namely: Who (who is the source), Says What (what is conveyed), In Which Channel (via what media), To Whom (who is the target), and With What Effect (what is the influence) 4. This theory can help identify the communication elements involved in using the TikTok application, as well as their impact on adolescent communication behavior. The results of the research show the Communication Behavior of TikTok Social Media Users at SMPN 15 of South Bengkulu, namely that they use TikTok social media because it is a trend nowadays. There are various interesting features on TikTok social media so that it can relieve the burden on your mind. Creating viral video content and sharing your own edits, educating TikTok social media users and channeling talents through TikTok social media, making TikTok social media a source of entertainment and information and what are the impacts of using TikTok social media, both positive and negative
Pengaruh Penggunaan Instagram Terhadap Gaya Ootd Mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu
Currently, Instagram is widely used by various groups of people. Instagram makes people easy to access and get the information needed, especially in OOTD style. This study aims to determine the effect of using Instagram on OOTD style in Communication Studies Program Students at Dehasen University Bengkulu. Technology Determination Theory is the theory used in this study, also as an analysis knife to see how technology in the form of Instagram can affect human lifestyle, especially in OOTD style. To determine the effect of Instagram use on OOTD style, researchers used the t test, which shows that the results of the t value of 7.732 and t table of 75 are 1.995. Because the value of t count> t table or 7.732> 1.995, it means that Ha is accepted, it can be said that there is an influence between Instagram usage on OOTD style. This means that the more often you use Instagram, the more people know what OOTD Style is
Persuasive Communication Strategy in Facebook Buy and Sell Groups: A Case Study of Sari Octavia Qi’s Mobile Phone Promotion in the Sungai Are Sindang Danau Pulau Beringin Forum
This research explores the persuasive communication strategy employed by Facebook user Sari Octavia Qi in promoting mobile phones through the Facebook group “Jual Beli Sungai Are Sindang Danau Pulau Beringin”. The study aims to analyze how persuasive techniques influence consumer behavior, using the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) as a theoretical framework. ELM explains two primary routes of persuasion: the central route, which relies on logical reasoning and detailed information, and the peripheral route, which depends on external cues such as visuals, testimonials, and emotional appeal. This qualitative descriptive study uses observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to gather data. Results indicate that Sari Octavia effectively combines both routes. She utilizes the central route by clearly explaining product specifications such as RAM, battery capacity, and purchase terms, and by providing transparency about the product source and testing process. Meanwhile, the peripheral route is applied through visual cues like real customer testimonials, product photos, friendly emojis, and informal language that resonates with buyers in her local community. These strategies build trust and credibility, which significantly affect purchase decisions. The study concludes that dual-route persuasive communication can enhance online sales success in Facebook buy-and-sell forums, especially for small-scale sellers in rural area
Strategi Public Relation PT Sari Melati Kencana Dalam Mengukuhkan Brand Image Pada Pizza Hut Bengkulu
This research aims to determine the Public Relations Strategy of PT Sari Melati Kencana in strengthening the Brand Image of Pizza Hut Bengkulu. This research uses PR Strategy theory which includes operational strategy, educational persuasive approach, social responsibility approach to public relations and PR, cooperative approach, and coordinative or integrative approach. And the type of research used is qualitative research. The results of this research show that PT Sari Melati Kencana's public relations in strengthening the brand image of Pizza Hut Bengkulu depicts a holistic and integrated effort. An operational strategy that prioritizes a social approach, a persuasive and educational approach that creates educational and persuasive communication, a public relations social responsibility approach that responds quickly to complaints and maintains product quality, a cooperative approach that fosters internal and external harmonious relationships, and a coordinative or integrative approach which makes a positive contribution to increasing community support, customer loyalty and strengthening a positive image. Overall, a PR strategy that includes these aspects has succeeded in having a positive impact on the image and popularity of Pizza Hut Bengkulu, creating positive relationships with customers and strengthening their position in the culinary industry.
 
PRAKTIK INTERNASIONALISASI MEDIA BERITASATU MEDIA HOLDINGS
This study aimed to determine the practice of internationalization carried out by BeritaSatu Media Holdings in supporting global economic interests of Lippo Group Company. Internationalization is an implication of media industrialization which the media company owner sought to reduce the spatial distance to obtain greater profits. Theory of Political Economy Media used to see how media content represents the interests of certain political economy, especially from media owners. To view the practice of internationalization, the concept of spatialization was used. The analysis showed that the practice of internationalization was done by BeritaSatu Media Holdings visible from nine of thirteen brand-owned media were in English, the media focused on business economics and finance or the life of the upper class, BeritaSatu Media Holdings’ media distribution limited in cosmopolitan areas, some media published in Indonesia (The Straits Times, ThePeak) had editions in other countries, such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Of this trend was seen that the reader of BeritaSatu Media Holdings was segmented to the expatriate community and executives. The expatriate community and executives were capital market investors and financial markets, or the part of policy makers in the field of economy both in the private and public sectors who have the power or role for the current financial turnaround either within the scope of national, regional, and multinational
Teknik Akurasi Berita Oleh Humas Basarnas Bengkulu (Studi Pada Pemberitaan Evakuasi Orang Tenggelam)
The method used in this research uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were the Head Office of Basarnas Bengkulu, the operations sub-section and Public Relations staff of Basarnas Bengkulu. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. This study aims to find out the News Accuracy technique by the Public Relations of Basarnas Bengkulu. This research focuses on news accuracy by the Public Relations of Basarnas Bengkulu in obtaining information related to a case/disaster. The results showed that the News Accuracy Technique by the Public Relations of Basarnas Bengkulu can be implemented by conducting Fact Verification and Eyewitnesses as follows: 1. Fact Verification is that the fact verification process is very important in ensuring the truth and reliability of information conveyed to the public. In the context of Basarnas operations, where the delivery of precise and accurate information can have a direct impact on the safety and security of the public, verification of facts becomes the main foundation in the preparation of news. 2. Eyewitnesses i.e. in the news delivery process direct testimony from individuals who were at the scene of the incident provides valuable perspectives and details that cannot be obtained from other sources. By considering eyewitness accounts, Basarnas can supplement the information they receive and ensure the accuracy of the news delivered to the public
Representasi Makna Keikhlasan Pada Series “ Layangan Putus ”
This research was conducted to analyze the representation of sincerity shown by women in the drama series "Layangan Putus." In addition to being a form of mass media that portrays the social life of the community, this series also includes cultural creations that bring important values to the audience, one of which is about marital life rumored with infidelity and how women, especially wives, demonstrate an attitude of sincerity. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with the analysis of Roland Barthes' semiotics model. The focus of this research was to find the denotative, connotative, and myth meanings in 4 scenes that show the meaning of sincerity. The data collection techniques used were documentation, literature review, and observation. The results of the study show that the meaning of sincerity is demonstrated as an action that refers to social situations, parties harmed in the social structure take action against those who harm them. The attitude of sincerity occurs because of human behaviors that are not in line with their true feelings and conditions and harm others, including family, by surrendering what is considered best in the hope of getting something more deserving in the future. Sincerity is an attitude that women adopt to prove that not all problems need to be responded to and vented through emotions, but in this series, it highlights the sense of sincerity that has already occurred in her married life
