The rising incidence of CKD in Indian population is likely to pose major problems for healthcare and the economy in future years. In known diabetic patients of CKD, study of Rasa Dhatu Dushti is important for understanding the role of Rasa Dhatu in Samprapti of CKD. Aim is to assess Rasa Dhatu Dushti in known diabetic patients of chronic kidney disease on dialysis. Objectives are to assess Rasa Dhatu Kshaya, Vruddhi Lakshanas as per Vagbhata and Rasa Dhatu Dushti Lakshanas as per Charaka Samhita and analyse their severity as per the stages in known Diabetic patients of CKD on dialysis. Known diabetic patients of CKD on dialysis of age group 30-70 year and both genders were selected from dialysis centre. A Case Record Form was design for incorporating Lakshanas of different types of Rasa Dhatu Dushti. The stage of CKD is calculated on the basis of Sr. creatinine and Blood Urea reports collected from the patients. On the basis of grading of Lakshanas, the subjects are divided into Mild, Moderate and Severe Rasa Dhatu Vruddhi, Kshaya and Dushti Lakshanas. It is observed that Rasa Dhatu Kshaya, Vruddhi and Dushti remain highly prevalent across all CKD stages. More than 50 % of Rasa Kshaya Lakshanas were observed in 71 patients, Rasa Vruddhi Lakshanas in 40 patients and Rasa Dushti lakshanas in 7 patients. On the basis of outcome of observation and discussion, it is concluded that all types of Rasa Dhatu Dushti (predominantly Rasa Kshayatmaka Dushti) in all stages is present in known diabetic patients CKD on dialysis. Treatment of Rasa Dhatu is important to retard the disease progression

Pollinators are rewarding for many wild and agricultural crop plants. The experiments were conducted in the agricultural field of Karad tehsil, Maharashtra, India. The present study concentrated on the diversity and species richness of nocturnal insect pollinators on Ridge gourd Luffa acutangula belonging to the family Cucurbitaceae. The Ridge gourd plant is monoecious with a bunch of male flowers and solitary female flower. Anthesis happened in late evening hours (17.00-19.00) and flowers remained for 13 to 14 hours. A total of 830 insect pollinators were sampled from June 2020 to November 2020. Altogether 17 species of insect pollinators belonging to 7 families under 6 orders were recorded. Among the total number of species, the Lepidoptera was the dominant order comprising  11 species belonging to the single family Crambidae followed by Blattodea comprising 2 species belonging to 2 families Ectobiidae and Blattidae. Hymenoptera comprised 1 species belonging to family Formicidae, followed by order Orthoptera comprising 1 species belonging to family Gryllidae, order Diptera  comprising  1 species belonging to the family Culicidae, followed by the order  Coleoptera  comprising 1  species belonging to the family Chrysomelidae. The Diaphnia hyalinata belonging to family Crambidae of  the order Lepidoptera was the most dominant species and was followed by Chabula acamasalis. The nocturnal species imparted pollination services to agricultural crops. The study also observed fundamental mechanisms of plant and nocturnal insect pollinator interaction as well as floral scent and visual signals. The study can be baseline data for conserving and managing the best pollinators for increasing the yield of Ridge gourd

Background: Peritonitis due to hollow viscous perforation is common cause of emergency surgery in India. Despite advances in surgical skills, antimicrobial agents and supportive care the morbidity and mortality of secondary peritonitis remains high. Prognosis and outcome of it depends on many factors which includes patient related factors, disease specific factors and management. Categorizing patients into different risk groups would help in management. Mannheim peritonitis index (MPI) is based on measuring simple clinical parameters in case of hollow viscous perforation. This study was conducted to know efficacy of MPI for predicting morbidity and mortality in hollow viscous perforation. Methods: 50 patients with peritonitis undergoing surgical treatment at Dr. D.Y. Patil medical college, Nerul were included in study. Demographic, clinical data, surgical treatment, outcome were documented and analysed. Results: The morbidity and mortality rate were higher in patients with MPI >29. Surgical site infections were most common complication in patients with MPI 21. More ICU stay was required in in patients with MPI <21.Conclusions: MPI which is very easy to calculate is simple and effective in predicting morbidity and mortality in patients with hollow viscous perforation

Adults, as well as children, have a great need for nutrients such as Calcium, Iron, Zinc, Protein, and Vitamin B12. Spirulina is very rich in protein, omega 3 and omega 6 oils, vitamin, and mineral, and its incorporation into chocolates will enrich their nutritional values. Spirulina satisfies the nutritional needs by providing all these nutrients, as well as all the essential amino acids. Spirulina is unique and 100% safe. In fact, Spirulina is the only natural food that contains GLA (gamma linoleic acid) an essential fatty acid that is found only in mother’s milk. This GLA plays a very vital in balancing the hormonal system in the body. So it is actually very good to give Spirulina to the children. Our Spirulina Chocolates were prepared by simple incorporation method by addition of 1gm Spirulina by dissolving in 10 ml NaCl as a solubility enhancer as well as to mask the taste and smell. This chocolate form is easier for every individual to chew and absorb. The chocolates were assessed for organoleptic properties, pH, blooming test, and hardness. This significant study revealed the efficacy of Spirulina Chocolate Formulation and it would definitely have a wide scope in the future as an immunity booster and in treatments of malnutrition in children as well. Further study is required to reveal the quantification of constituents present in Spirulina Chocolate formulation by in vivo and invitro studies

    Get PDF
Now a day’s network traffic monitoring and performance of the network are more important aspect in the computer science. Anomaly Extraction is a method of detecting in large set of flow observed during an anomalous time interval, the flows associated with the one or more anomalous event. Anomaly extraction is important problem that essential for application ranging from root cause analysis and attack mitigation and anomaly extraction is also important problem for several application of testing anomaly detector. In this paper, use a meta-data provided by histogram detector for detect and identify the suspicious flow after successfully detection suspicious flow then applying the association rule mining for finding the anomalous flow. By using the rich traffic data from the meta-data of the histogram-based detector we can reduce the classification cost. In this paper, Anomaly extraction method reduce the working time which is required for analyzing alarm, its make system more practically. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15011
