Impact of Metric Selection on Wireless DeAuthentication DoS Attack Performance
DeAuthentication Denial of Service attacks in Public Access WiFi operate by exploiting the lack of authentication of management frames in the 802.11 protocol. Detection of these attacks rely almost exclusively on the selection of appropriate thresholds. In this work the authors demonstrate that there are additional, previously unconsidered, metrics which also influence DoS detection performance. A method of systematically tuning these metrics to optimal values is proposed which ensures that parameter choices are repeatable and verifiable
Analis Kesesuaian Gerak Dasar Renang Gaya Bebas Pada Atlet Renang Club Amphibi Kabupaten Karawang
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan penjelasan mengenai kesesuaian gerak dasar renang pada gaya bebas seorang atlet untuk mencapai prestasi di bidang non-akademik atau keolahragaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada atlet renang Club Amphibi di Kabupaten Karawang. Metode ini juga diadopsi dengan tujuan untuk memiliki susunan secara sistematis dan akurat berdasarkan data dilapangan dan karakteristik dalam proses analisis yang digunakan dalam meneliti kesesuaian teknik gaya bebas pada atlet perenang Club Amphibi. Dari penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya kesesuaian gerak renang pada teknik gaya bebas sangatlah dipengaruhi oleh beragam faktor. Faktor tersebut diantaranya terdapat pada faktor internal dari atlet dalam segi fisik, teknik, dan taktis. Faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi kesesuaian gerak renang pada atlet Club Amphibi yaitu, sarana dan prasarana serta kualitas pembelajaran dari instruktur renang serta kondisi lingkungan saat latihan
The genus Anterhynchium in the Philippine Islands (Hymenoptera: Vespidae, Eumeninae)
A taxonomic study on the genus Anterhynchium de Saussure, 1863 from the Philippine Islands is presented. Two species are recorded: A. astrophilum Giordani Soika, 1996 and A. townesi van der Vecht, 1963. Anterhynchium astrophilum is recorded for the first time since its description, A. flavomarginatum townesi is raised to species rank (A. townesi stat. nov.) and its unknown male is described. A key to the species and new distributional records are provided
Prolin, Asam Askorbat, dan Kandungan Air Relatif pada Tanaman C3 dan C4 yang Tercekam Kekeringan
Drought stress reduces plant growth and development that even reduces crop productivity. Plants activate various physiological defense mechanisms against water stress. This study aimed to compare the contents of proline (Pro), abscisic acid (ABA), and relative water content (KAR) in the leaves tissue of C3 plants from spinach (Amaranthus hybridus) and C4 from water spinach (Ipomea reptana) during drought stress of 2 days, 4 days, 6 days, and 8 days. The parameters measured were the content of Pro, ABA, and KAR in both leaves of A. hybridus and I. reptana at each stress period. The results of the study showed that the concentration of Pro was higher in water spinach at 6 days and 8 days of drought stress and the highest KAR value at 8 days of drought stress. The highest proline was synthesized by I. reptana at the longest-term stress of 8 days (1.54 µmol proline/g leaf). While the highest KAR value was shown by A. hybridus, namely 1.00% at 8 days stress. The high value of Pro in I. reptana was a physiological response to the decrease of KAR value. The high ABA concentration in A. hybridus as much as 3878.12/100 g leaf samples is a strategy for C3 plants to reduce the transpiration rate. On the other hand, the C4 plant of I. reptana demonstrated a defense mechanism by increasing the Pro osmoregulator to balance the osmotic cells when the KAR value decreased under prolonged stress.

Volatile Profiling of Root-Shoot and Fruits of Capsicum frutescens var. Salo Dua from Enrekang, Indonesia
Capsicum frutescens var. Salo Dua is a local variety cultivated in Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi. It has unique traits of color transition during fruit ripening and extended post-harvest shelf life. However, the metabolite profiling in this potential variety has not been explored. This was an initial study that aimed to profile the volatile compounds in the root-shoot parts (as vegetative) and in the ripe fruits of Salo Dua variety. The instrument of Gas Chromatography coupled with Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) was used to separate and characterize the volatile compounds. Our study revealed a higher number of forty-two volatiles in the ripe fruits compared to the twenty-eight volatiles in the shoot-root parts. The five major compositions of the chemical class in ripe fruits were characterized by the formation of alcohols (26%) followed by esters (19%), alkaloids (10%), fatty acids (10%), and ketones (7%). While the abundant volatiles in the root-shoot parts were shown by the presence of esters (29%), alcohols (21%), fatty acids (18%), alkaloids (11%), and heterocyclic (7%). There were nineteen volatiles that only emitted in the ripe fruits. Efektivitas Project Based Learning Dalam Kurikulum Merdeka Terhadap Kemampuan Teknik Dasar Permainan Bola Basket Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui keefektifan model project based learning dalam kurikulum merdeka terhadap kemampuan teknik dasar permainan bola basket siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan model penelitian pre-test-post-test pada kelompok (kelas) yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Peneliti menemukan hasil: 1) Ada perbedaan keterampilan teknik dasar bermain bola basket siswa sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya model belajar berbasis proyek, 2) Penggunaan model belajar berbasis proyek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap teknik dasar bermain bola basket. bermain bola basket pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama, dan 3) Penggunaan perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif pada keterampilan teknik dasar bermain bola basket dan berada pada kategori tinggi
