Yksilöruokintalaitteiden hyödyntäminen turkiseläinten ravitsemustutkimuksissa

Mestariluokka -täydennyskoulutuksen kehitystyöTurkiseläinten ruokinnassa on hyödynnetty erilaisia rehuannostelijoita jo parikymmentä vuotta. Annostelijoiden toiminta on ensimmäisistä ruokintalaitteista alkaen perustunut rehupumpun kierrosten laskemiseen ja sen hallintaan. Tällä hetkellä käytössä on laitteita, jotka voivat annostella rehun häkkikohtaisesti ja tallentaa päivittäiset rehuannokset laitteessa olevan tietokoneen muistiin. Tässä työssä keskitymme pohtimaan laitteiden soveltuvuutta erilaisiin turkiseläinten ruokintatutkimuksiin. Tavoitteenamme on myös pohtia, mitä muutoksia normaaliin turkistilalla käytettävään ruokintatrukkiin voisi kohtuullisilla kustannuksilla tehdä tutkimuskäytön vaatimuksia ajatellen. Kehitystyön ja käytännön kokemusten mukaan mielestämme laitteita voidaan hyödyntää tehokkaasti ruokintakokeiden rehunkulutuksen seurannassa, kun muistetaan ottaa huomioon laitteiden tietyt rajoitteet. Tällaisia ovat esimerkiksi tutkimukset, joissa ruokitaan erittäin pienillä rehuannoksilla sekä on oltava varmuus kopioida laitteiden tuottamaa dataa riittävän usein. Vaikka rehupumpun kierrosmäärä saadaan säädettyä täsmälleen oikein, ei eläimen saama rehuannos välttämättä vastaa samaa, johtuen letkuun jäävän rehun määrästä tai kun rehun konsistenssi ei vastaa normaalitilannetta. Jalostusohjelman kanssa kommunikoivaa yksilöruokintalaitetta ohjelmistoineen, voitaisiin hyödyntää nykyistä laajemmin rehun hyväksikäyttöä vertailevassa jalostustutkimuksessa

Projektijohtaminen tapahtuman järjestämisessä, Case Suurpellon Joulutori

Tässä opinnäytetyössä perehdyttiin projektin johtamiseen tapahtuman järjestämisen yhteydessä. Kyseessä oli toiminnallinen opinnäytetyö, joka jaettiin kahteen osaan; opinnäytetyön tekijät perehtyivät projektin johtamiseen ja tapahtuman järjestämiseen liittyviin seikkoihin teoriassa sekä toimivat projektipäälliköinä Joulutorin järjestämisessä Suurpellon asuinalueelle. Toimeksiantajana Joulutori-tapahtumalle toimi Koulii-hanke. Koulii-hanke on koulutuksen innovaatio- ja integraatio hanke, jossa Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulu ja Espoon seudun koulu-tuskuntayhtymä Omnia ovat mukana. Hanke päättyi joulukuussa 2012. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli järjestää onnistunut tapahtuma Suurpellon asukkaille. Tarkoituksena oli, että opinnäytetyö auttaa tulevaisuudessa projektiluontoisten tapahtumien järjestäjiä hahmottamaan projektin kokonaisuutta sekä tukee projektia johtavia henkilöitä saavuttamaan projektin onnistuneen läpiviennin. Toimeksiantajan toivomuksena oli, että Joulutori-tapahtuma olisi alku jokavuotiselle lämminhenkiselle tapahtumalle, joka yhdistää alueen asukkaita, myyjiä, sekä muita kävijöitä. Opinnäytetyön tekijät johtivat tapahtuman järjestämistä ja olivat vastuussa tapahtuman to-teutumisesta. Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulun Hotelli- ja ravintola-alan ensimmäisen vuoden yhdeksän opiskelijaa suunnittelivat tapahtuman sisältöä ja markkinointia palvelumuotoilun menetelmiä hyödyntäen. Tästä syystä myös opinnäytetyön tekijät ottivat huomioon tapahtuman järjestämiseen liittyvissä osa-alueissa palvelumuotoilun perusteita ja käyttivät apunaan palvelumuotoilun menetelmiä. Palvelumuotoilun menetelmiksi valittiin benchmarking sekä aivoriihityöskentely. Benchmarking-menetelmää käytettiin toimintaympäristön kartoittamiseen esikuva-arviointina ja aivoriihityöskentelyä tapahtuman ideoinnin tukena. Myös Suurpellon asukkailla oli mahdollisuus osallistua aivoriihityöskentelyyn. Projektijohtamisen onnistumista arvioitiin projektissa mukana olleille opiskelijoille tehdyllä ryhmäteemahaastattelulla. Lisäksi haastateltiin Koulii-hankkeen projektijohtajaa ja projekti-asiantuntijaa, jotka olivat mukana Joulutorin järjestämisessä. Tapahtuman onnistumista arvioitiin havainnoinnin ja vapaamuotoisten haastattelujen avulla tapahtuman aikana ja tapahtuman jälkeen myyjiltä kerätyillä palautteilla. Haastattelujen ja havainnoinnin perusteella pääasiallisena tuloksena pystyttiin toteamaan, että projektijohtaminen ja tapahtuman järjestäminen onnistuivat hyvin. Eri osapuolet kokivat projektijohtamisen ammattitaitoisena ja selkeänä ja tapahtuman osallistujat olivat tyytyväisiä Joulutorin kokonaisuuteen. Tästä huolimatta kehitysideoita syntyi. Projektin aloitusvaihe koettiin sekavana ja tapahtuman mahdolliseen peruuntumiseen olisi tullut kiinnittää enemmän huomiota. Joulutori-tapahtumassa parannettavaa löytyi tuotteiden hinnoittelun selkeyttämisestä, ajankohdasta, äänentoiston parantamisesta sekä alkuperäisen teeman mukana pysymisestä läpi projektin suunnittelun. Näiden kehitysideoiden pohjalta tapahtumaprojektia pystytään parantamaan jatkossa entistä toimivammaksi kokonaisuudeksi. The thesis consists of the theory section and the practical process of project managing a Christmas Market event that took place in Suurpelto in December 2012. Suurpelto is a residential area located in Espoo. The commissioner of the thesis was the Koulii project. The Koulii project is carried out in co-operation with Laurea University of Applied Sciences (UAS) and vocational college Omnia. The Koulii project ended in December 2012. The objective of the thesis was to organize a successful event for the residents of Suurpelto. The purpose of the thesis was to assist future project managers to perceive the entirety of the event project and support the project managers to achieve a successful project. The commissioner hopes that the Christmas Market will become an annual event that brings together residents and different operators of Suurpelto. The authors of the thesis functioned as project managers in the Christmas Market project and were responsible for the realization of the event. Nine first-year students from the Hotel and Restaurant Management programme of Laurea UAS planned and marketed the event by using Service Design methods. Therefore also the project managers utilized Service Design methods in the study. Benchmarking was used to collect information about the operational environment. Brainstorming was used with the residents of Suurpelto to plan the event. The brainstorming resulted in many useful ideas for the Christmas Market. The success of the project management was measured with the help of theme interviews. The theme interviews were arranged with the students from the Hotel and Restaurant Management programme that took part in the Christmas Market project. The theme interviews were also conducted with the manager and the project specialist of the Koulii project. The success of the event was evaluated through observation and informal interviews during the Christmas Market. Feedback was also collected after the event from the salesperson of the Christmas Market. According to the results the event and the project management were successful. Different partners considered the project management to be professional and the participants of the event were satisfied. In addition some development objectives were listed. The beginning of the project was considered to be confusing. The possibility for the cancellation of the event should have been taken into consideration more precisely. Development objectives from the point of view of the Christmas Market were product pricing, date, audio functionality and carrying on the original theme until the end of the project. Vähänkyrön terveyskeskuksen vuodeosaston kirjaamisen kuvaus ja kehittäminen

Opinnäytetyö on osa eNNI (Electronic Documentation of Nursing Care – the R&D Project for Creation of Nursing Informatics Competence in cooperation between education and working life) -hanketta, joka käynnistyi helmikuussa 2007 säädetystä sähköistä potilastietojärjestelmää koskevasta lakimuutoksesta. eNNI-hankkeen päämääränä on yhtenäistää hoitotyön rakenteinen kirjaaminen sähköisissä potilastietojärjestelmissä. Kansallisesti yhtenäinen kirjaamismalli perustuu FinCC (Finnish Care Classification) -luokitukseen, joka on suomalainen hoidon luokitus. Kirjaamisen yhtenäistäminen mahdollistaa potilastietojen tallentamisen KELAn ylläpitämään KanTa-arkistoon. KanTa-arkisto on kansallinen terveysarkisto, johon tallennetaan tulevaisuudessa kaikki potilasasiakirjat. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kartoittaa Vähänkyrön terveyskeskuksen vuodeosaston kirjaamisen tilaa ja tuoda osaston kirjaamista koskeva hiljainen tieto esiin hoitohenkilökunnalle suunnatuin kyselylomakkein. Tavoitteena oli raporttimaisesti kuvata meneillään olevaa hanketta ja kyselyn tulosten perusteella tehdä kehittämismalli yhdestä esille nousseesta kirjaamisen ongelmakohdasta. Kehittämismalli tehtiin potilaan tulotilanteesta osastolle tultaessa ja mallissa kuvattiin myös hoitosuunnitelman rakentamista kirjallisesti. Tutkimus toteutettiin kvalitatiivisesti eli laadullisesti ja kyselyn tulokset analysoitiin sisällönanalyysin avulla.This bachelor’s thesis is a part of the eNNI (Electronic Documentation of Nursing Care – the R&D Project for Creation of Nursing Informatics Competence in coop-eration between education and working life) -project which started of the amend-ment regarding the electrical patient information system in February 2007. The aim of the eNNI-project was to unify the structured nursing documentation in electronic patient information systems. The national uniform documentation model is based on the FinCC-classification which is the finnish clinical care classifica-tion. Structured documentation makes it possible to store patient information to KanTa-archive. The KanTa-archive is a national health archive where all patient documentations are stored in the future. The purpose of the thesis was to survey the state of documentation in the ward of Vähäkyrö’s health center and bring the nurses silent knowledge out with ques-tionnaires. The aim was to describe the ongoing project and based on the results make a developing model of one documentation problem. The development model was made of the situation when the patients come to the ward and it also includes the creation of a care plan. ICT Road map for supporting energy systems in smart cities

This paper introduces a road map for ICTs (Information and communication technologies) supporting planning, operation and management of energy systems in smart cities. The road map summarises different elements that form energy systems in cities and proposes research and technical development (RTD) and innovation activities for the development and innovation of ICTs for holistic design, planning and operation of energy systems. In addition, synergies with other ICT systems for smart cities are considered. There are four main target groups for the road map: 1) citizen; 2) building sector; 3) energy sector; and 4) municipality level. As an example for enabling active participation of citizens, the road map proposes how ICT can enable citizens? involvement among others into building design. The building sector roadmap proposes how ICTs can support the planning of buildings and renovations in the future, as well as how to manage building energy systems. The energy sector road map focuses on city?s energy systems and their planning and management, including e.g. demand side management, management of different district level energy systems, energy performance validation and management, energy data models, and smarter use of open energy data. Moreover, the municipality level road map proposes among others ICTs for better integration of city systems and city planning enabling maximised energy efficiency. In addition, one road map section suggests development needs related to open energy data, including among others the use of energy data and the development and harmonisation of energy data models. The road map has been assembled in the READY4SmartCities project (funded by EU 7th Framework Programme), which focuses on the energy system at the city level, consisting of centralised energy systems and connections to the national level energy grids, as well as interconnections to the neighbourhood and building level energy systems
