A brief survey on law and economics of contract law

That's to say-together with property law-contract law is vital for a good functioning economy. Thus, contract is a solid instrument to increase social welfare. Accordingly, a brief description of economic analysis of contract law will be carried out in this essay. As such, the author of the essay attempts to find appropriate answers to certain major questions including the following: Why are contracts good from a societal point of view? What types of risks can arise in a contract? What is a fully specified contract and how will risks be allocated in a fully specified contract? Why is a particular risk allocation in contracts important for both society and contracting parties? What are the consequences of transaction costs for contract law? Otobüslerde Kullanılan Plastik Yakıt Tanklarının Statik Ve Dinamik Analizler Yardımıyla Dayanımının İncelenmesi

Bu makalede, plastik yakıt tanklarının, statik ve dinamik analizlere dayalı, bilgisayar destekli, geliştime-tasarım projesinn bir kısmı sunulmuştur. Öncelikle, plastik malzemenin mekanik özelliklerini bulmaya yönelik kupon testleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Statik analizlerde yakıt tankına eşdeğer yükler uygulanmıştır. Dinamik analizler ise zamanla değişen yük, yakıt ve tankın atalaet momentleri göz önüne alınmış ve modal transient analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Statik analizlerde, eşdeğer statik yükleme yaklaşımı kullanılmaktadır. Yapılan dinamk analizlerde, akışkan akustik elemanlar kullanılarak modellenmiştir. Yakıt tankı farklı doluluk oranları için incelenerek karşılaştırılmış ve sonuçları bu bildiride paylaşılmıştır.Nowadays, the conventional metal fuel tanks used in buses are being replaced with plastic fuel tanks. In this paper, a part of the project which aims to develop a computer aided methodology for developing/designing of the plastic fuel tanks based on static and dynamic analysis is presented. Coupon tests are first conducted to acquire the mechanical properties of the plastic material. In the static analysis, equivalent static loads are applied to the fuel tanks. In the dynamic analysis, the time varying loading and the inertia of the fluid and fuel tanks are taken into account using modal transient analysis. Fluid which is in the tank is modeled with acoustic approach in dynamic analysis. In this paper, different fullness ratios of the fuel tank are investigated and both results are compared each other

Revisiting History in Yeşilçam Cinema: An Analysis on Yeşilçam Heroes; Karaoğlan, Malkoçoğlu, Kara Murat and Battal Gazi

History presented in films has always been problematic. This debate is generally categorized into two categories, if the historical movies are loyal to the historical fact or if they should be aesthetically considered an art form. Costume adventure films in Turkish Cinema, present mythological characters with fantasy elements raising nationalist sentiments. This authentic genre in Turkish Cinema takes history as a background motif presenting Karaoğlan, Malkoçoğlu, Kara Murat and Battal Gazi, yet combines real facts and people in history with fantasy world heroes and incidents. Hence, these films raise a query regarding the accuracy of their portrayal in relation to historical fact. Presidential decrees and the principle of legality under Turkish law

WOS: 000455112000017As of July 9, 2018, Turkey abandoned the parliamentary system and has adopted a sui generis kind of presidential system of government. The said new governmental system provides the President, the Executive Organ of the Turkish State, with the authority to issue presidential decrees on matters relating to executive function, and such authority that is conferred directly by the Constitution "is neither dependent on a prior parliamentary mandate nor subject to any subsequent approval"(2). On the other hand, the principle of legality(3), an important constitutional principle relating to "the rule of law" states that the Legislative power is "original/primary", and that, as a rule, the Executive Organ possesses a secundum legem authority. As such, the prospective effects of the presidential decrees on the constitutional principle of legality will be reviewed in this study based on various discussions made by Turkish public law academics

Remembering The Civil War in Today’s Lebanese Cinema

In the aftermath of the civil war, memory and trauma are a prominent thema in Lebanese cinema. This study aims to explore how the civil war is remembered through cinema in contemporary Lebanese cinema, based on an analysis of the films Where Do We Go Now?, Tramontane, The Insult and Memory Box. These films, selected from among the films made in Lebanon after 2010 by Lebanese directors and dealing with the civil war, were analysed through descriptive analysis under the themes of past, identity, trauma and space. The films under scrutiny serve as conduits for the articulation of remembrance, both as a means of confronting past traumas and of reflecting upon the present. The act of remembering the past and confronting traumas is rendered through the medium of personal recollections by the directors, thus creating a narrative of collective memory. When the subject of the civil war is represented in films, it is commonly remembered as “the past in the present”

Açıköğretim Fakültesi akademik danışmanlık ve uygulama hizmetlerinin değerlendirilmesi

Anadolu Üniversitesi-Açıköğretim Fakültesi, bu sorunu, "Akademik Danışmanlık ve Uygulama Hizmetleri" örgütlenmesiyle çözmeyi amaçlamıştır. Bu araştırma, AÖF, Akademik Danışmanlık ve Uygulama Hizmetlerini, danışman öğretim elemanları ve öğrenci görüşleri açısından değerlendirerek varsa, iyileştirilmesi gereken yönlerine ilişkin öneriler geliştirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Değerlendirmede, Fakültenin ilk iki öğretim yılı esas alınmıştır. Gerekli veriler, öğrencilerin kayıt aşamasında doldurdukları formlar ile Danışmanlık Hizmetlerinde görev alan öğretim elemanlarında uygulanan anketlerden sağlanmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, Akademik Danışmanlık Uygulamasının yapılış şekli, öğrencilerin "anlayamadıkları hususları sormaları" beklentisiyle çatışmaktadır. Yaşlaşık % 70'inin Akademik Danışmanlık ve Uygulama Hizmetlerinin verildiği illerde oturmalarına karşılık, öğrencilerin bir bölümü, "uzaklık" ve "saatlerin uygun olmaması" nedenleriyle, bu hizmetlere düzenli katılamamaktadır. Katılan öğrenciler ise, dersliklerin kalabalıklığı temel nedeniyle, danışmanlıktan gereği gibi yararlanamadıklarını belirtmektedirler. Uygulamayı daha çok gerektiren dersler için Akademik Danışmanlık Hizmetlerinin arttırılması yararlıdır

Reprimand human in the Qur'an

Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Temel İslam Bilimleri Ana Bilim Dalıİnsan, düşünceleri, inançları, ahlâkî tutum ve eylemleriyle bir değer ifade eder. İslâm dini de insana bu değeri kazandırmayı hedeflemiştir. Bundan dolayı Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'de insanın müspet ve menfî yönleri belirtilerek ideal insan modeli ortaya konulmuştur. İnsanın çirkin vasıflarından, sapkın inançlarından ve kötü amellerinden söz edilirken kınama lafızlarına yer verilmiştir. Böylelikle insanların bu tutum ve davranışlardan uzak durmaları istenmiştir.Biz de ?Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'de Kınanan İnsan? konulu tezimizde insanın menfî yönünü incelemiş bulunmaktayız. Çalışmamızda, vahye ve akla ters düşen insanın bu tutum ve davranışlarının Allah tarafından kınandığı gösterilerek, bu mezmum davranışlar hususunda insanların bilinçlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Kur'ân-ı Kerîm, insan, kınama, inanç, amel, ahlak.Humankind would be valuable wiht this thoughts, beliefs, moral attitudes and moral acts. Thus, people were asked to stay away from these attitudes and behaviors.We have studied the negative aspects of people in our thesis ?Reprimand Human in the Qur?an?. Pornografinin Sinema ve Kadın Üzerindeki Yansıması

Pornografi kavramını tanımlamak çoğu zaman bazı zorlukları da beraberinde getirir. Bu, sinemada da benzer durumlara neden olur. Çalışmada öncelikle erotik ve pornografik film karşıtlıkları kurularak, bu kavramlar açıklanmaya çalışılmış ve pornografiye olan yaklaşımlar temel alınarak filmlerdeki pornografinin “şiddet”, “röntgencilik” ve “fetişizm” kavramları ile olan ilişkisi irdelenmiştir. Araştırmacı, sonuçta, pornografi ve sunumlarına karşı önyargısız bir şekilde yaklaşılması gerektiğini savunmaktadır
