    Розробка методики проектування підприємства для випуску нової продукції

    The object of research is the method of designing an enterprise for the release of new products, the basis of which is played with nature and the method of analyzing hierarchies. The sustainability of the project is determined by the break-even point. With the help of the game's criteria with nature, the task of determining the optimal output of paving slabs is solved. The criteria of Wald, Bayes, Laplace and Savage are used. The method of analyzing hierarchies is used to determine the optimal location for an enterprise. The criteria are the compliance of the land plot, the opportunity to recruit the necessary personnel from the surrounding areas, access to material resources and transport. As alternatives, 3 sites in different regions of the Dnieper, Ukraine, is considered. The break-even point is determined by analytical and graphical methods. One of the most problematic places is the use of only two mathematical methods when designing an enterprise. There are still many design problems that can be solved with the help of modern mathematical methods and information technologies, but these are tasks of the future.The volume of paving slabs is received, not less than the level of demand, so as not to lose the potential income from the sale of products, and not more than the level of demand, otherwise the enterprise will incur losses mainly due to lower prices. This volume is 34 thousand m2 per year. The optimal place is chosen for locating the enterprise according to the criteria: compliance of the land plot with 43.9 %; the opportunity to recruit from the surrounding areas the necessary staff 43.7 %; access to material resources and transport 42.3 %. The safety zone is 44 %. The breakeven point value corresponds to 53 % of the possible sales volume of paving slabs, that is, the project is recognized as sustainable.The introduction of the methodology will reduce the design of modern enterprises and new products. This is due to the fact that the proposed methodology is based on mathematical methods and information technologies. There are no analogues in the world.Описана методика проектирования предприятия для выпуска новой продукции, основу которой составляют современные математические методы. Математический аппарат позволяет определять: рациональный объем выпускаемой однотипной продукции, оптимальное место размещения предприятия и точку безубыточности. Первая задача решена при помощи критериев игры с природой, вторая задача – методом анализа иерархий.     Factors Associated With Youth Athletes Discontinuing Vs. Staying In A Sport

    This study investigated the factors that go into youth athletes deciding to drop out of a sport versus staying in the sport. To test this, current Otterbein University athletes and non-athletes took an online questionnaire that asked specific questions pertaining to their experience in sport participation. We tested the hypotheses that (1) those who began specializing in sports at a younger age will be less likely to continue participation, (2) parental pressure would be a reason for dropout and parental support would influence the athletes to stay in, and (3) those who continued participation in sports would perceive a healthy lifestyle to be more important than those who are not currently involved. Results indicated partial support for these hypotheses. Supporting Hypothesis 1, specializing during younger vs. older years was associated with dropping out. Counter to Hypothesis 2, those who continued in their sport indicated having higher parental pressure than those who dropped out. In support of Hypothesis 2, however, those who continued participation indicated having higher parental support than those who dropped out. Finally, in support of Hypothesis 3, those who continued also indicated having increased perceptions of the value of maintaining a healthy lifestyle
