Small gauge transformations and universal geometry in heterotic theories

The first part of this paper describes in detail the action of small gauge transformations in heterotic supergravity. We show a convenient gauge fixing is `holomorphic gauge' together with a condition on the holomorphic top form. This gauge fixing, combined with supersymmetry and the Bianchi identity, allows us to determine a set of non-linear PDEs for the terms in the Hodge decomposition. Although solving these in general is highly non-trivial, we give a prescription for their solution perturbatively in alpha' and apply this to the moduli space metric. The second part of this paper relates small gauge transformations to a choice of connection on the moduli space. We show holomorphic gauge is related to a~choice of holomorphic structure and Lee form on a `universal bundle'. The Universal Geometry of Heterotic Vacua

We consider a family of perturbative heterotic string backgrounds. These are complex threefolds X with c_1 = 0, each with a gauge field solving the Hermitian Yang-Mill's equations and compatible B and H fields that satisfy the anomaly cancellation conditions. Our perspective is to consider a geometry in which these backgrounds are fibred over a parameter space. If the manifold X has coordinates x, and parameters are denoted by y, then it is natural to consider coordinate transformations x \to \tilde{x}(x,y) and y \to \tilde{y}(y). Similarly, gauge transformations of the gauge field and B field also depend on both x and y. In the process of defining deformations of the background fields that are suitably covariant under these transformations, it turns out to be natural to extend the gauge field A to a gauge field \IA on the extended (x,y)-space. Similarly, the B, H, and other fields are also extended. The total space of the fibration of the heterotic structures is the Universal Geometry of the title. The extension of gauge fields has been studied in relation to Donaldson theory and monopole moduli spaces. String vacua furnish a richer application of these ideas. One advantage of this point of view is that previously disparate results are unified into a simple tensor formulation. In a previous paper, by three of the present authors, the metric on the moduli space of heterotic theories was derived, correct through order \alpha', and it was shown how this was related to a simple Kahler potential. The Implementation of Reality Group Counseling to Improve Discipline Behaviour Student Class VIII - G in State Junior High School 28 Surabaya

The background of this research starts from the results of interviews to teachers BK stating that as many as 20% of classVIII – G in state junior high school 28 Surabaya . Form of behavior that are found are come late,do not use attributes in full uniform, do not bring lesson book, and not attention the lesson. This research has a purpose to investigate the effectiveness of the implementation of reality group counseling to improve discipline behaviour student. This research used with experimental design one group pre test post test design.The subjects of this research are 6 (six) students of VIII in state junior high school 28 Surabaya which are identified as students who have low discipline  which have been known from the result of questionnaire on the first measurement (pre-test). The data collection method of this research is questionnaire of discipline behavior student and the data analysis technique which is used in this research is non parametric statistic with Sign Test. After having conducted the analysis using the sign test, it was known that ρ = 0,016 less than the α of 5% = 0.05 , therefore it is decided that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that the hypothesis of this research, “The students of experimental group’s discipline behaviour scores using reality group counseling increase and can be accepted. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that reality group counseling is effective to help students to improve discipline behaviour student class VIII - G in state junior high school 28 Surabaya .     Key words : Reality Group Counseling, discipline behaviour student. &nbsp

PENERAPAN THOUGHT STOPPING PADA PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA DENGAN MASALAH KEPERAWATAN GANGGUAN PERSEPSI SENSORI : HALUSINASI PENGLIHATAN DI RUANG FLAMBOYAN RUMAH SAKIT JIWA MENUR SURABAYA

Gangguan jiwa atau skizofrenia 70% mengalami harga diri rendah dan halusinasi, sedangkan yang mengalami komunikasi verbal 30%.Penderita skizofrenia dengan di sertai halusinasi akan kesulitan membedakan rangsang eksternal dan internal, tidak memberi respon secara akurat, sehingga perilaku yang sukar dimengerti dan mungkin bisa menakutkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penurunan halusinasi setelah diberikan terapi thought stopping diruang Flamboyan RSJ Menur Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah study kasus dengan melakukan asuhan keperawatan meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa, intervensi, implementasi dan evaluasi dengan memfokuskan intervensi pada penerapan terapi thought stopping dengan melatih klien memutuskan pikiran yang mengganggu dengan mengatakan “stop” yang dilakukan dalam tiga sesi. Hasil penelitian selama diberikan tindakan keperawatan menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan penerapan terapi thought stopping pada klien gangguan jiwa dengan masalah keperawatan halusinasi selama 3 hari didapatkan hasil klien dapat mengontrol halusinasi, klien relative tenang, ada kontak mata, klien mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik, serta klien tampak lebih rileks pada hari ketiga setelah dilakukan intervensi. Simpulan penelitian ini semakin sering dilakukan terapi thought stopping, semakin mempercepat kemampuan klien penderita gangguan jiwa untuk mengontrol halusinasinya. Saran untuk perawat melakukan terapi-terapi lainnya seperti terapi thought stopping, terapi aktivitas kelompok, penerapan jadwal kegiatan harian dan lain lain agar mempercepat kesembuhan klien serta meningkatkan kinerja perawat diruangan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesempatan kerja, pendidikan dan kesehatan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Aceh.Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder selama periode tahun 1991-2012. Peralatan analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan metode ordinary least square (OLS). Penelitian menemukan bahwa kesempatan kerja, pendidikan dan kesehatan berpengaruh negatif secara signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Aceh. Semakin besar jumlah kesempatan kerja, semakin baik kualitas pendidikan dan derajat kesehatan, semakin kecil jumlah penduduk miskin. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Aceh secara nyata dipengaruhi oleh kesempatan kerja, pendidikan dan kesehatan. This study is aimed to determine the effect of employment opportunities, education and health on poverty in Aceh Province.The data used are secondary data for the period 1991-2012. Data analysis equipment used is multiple linear regression with the method of ordinary least squares (OLS). The study found that employment opportunities, education and health are significantly negative effect on the level of poverty in the province of Aceh. The greater the number of employment opportunities, the better the quality of education and health status, the smaller the number of poor. The conclusion of this study is the level of poverty in the Aceh Province is significantly affected by the job opportunities, education and health. Therefore the Aceh provincial government is necessary to open employment opportunities for the community, improving the quality of education and health status.Keyword : Poverty, Employment Opportunities, Education and Health

Tayub as a Symbolic Interaction Medium in Sedekah Bumi Ritual in Pati Regency

This study aims to find, understand, and describe the process of symbolic interaction in sedekah bumi ritual and the supporting symbols of Tayub as the symbolic interaction medium in the ritual. This study applies qualitative methods with the holistic approach. The research was conducted in Dukuh Guyangan, Desa Sidoluhur, Kecamatan Jaken, Kabupaten Pati. In collecting the data, observation, interview, and documentation technique were implemented. Further, the data were analyzed using the technique of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusion, as well as verification. The data was validated using the sources triangulation, the technique triangulation, and the time triangulation. Tayub as the medium of symbolic interaction realizes in four interaction processes, as follows: 1) symbolic interaction processes between the ritual actors and the spirits of ancestors reflected in kenduren procession held in punden, 2) symbolic interaction process between ledhek and pengibing that is embodied in ibingan, 3) symbolic interaction process between wiraswara and the audiences that is seen during the dance performance, 4) symbolic interaction process between pengrawit and ledhek that is reflected in the dance movements and the accompanying music. The meanings of symbol behind the ritual itself are reflected through the realization of symbolic interaction. It consists of three elements, as follows: 1) kenduren prayer, 2) offerings and ambeng, 3) Tayub dance
