The unusual interpretation of traditional physics problems

In educational–methodological edition of the textbook consideration is given to non-traditional interpretation of physics problems, administered in high, secondary school and on a college level. In particular, the existence of matter in the form of substance and field and its transition from one type to another in a form of movement, the issue of relativistic mass, dual nature of light as a form of movement, which represents the oscillations type mass-energy-mass-energy-..., the nature of the de Broglie waves and the nature of the uncertainty relation, consistent interpretation of quantum effects of diffraction and other problematic issues. Rituximab in combination with high-dose methylprednisolone for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

We observed that high-dose methylprednisolone (HDMP) and rituximab was well tolerated and had promising activity when used in combination to treat patients with fludarabine-refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). This prompted us to evaluate the use of these agents in frontline therapy. A total of 28 patients with a median age of 65 years enrolled in this study. Patients received HDMP at 1 g/m(2) each day for 3 days during each of the three 4-week cycles together with rituximab and prophylactic antimicrobial therapy. The treatment was well tolerated with few adverse events of grade III or higher. The overall response rate was 96% (N=27). Nine patients (32%) achieved a complete remission (CR), two of which were without detectable minimal residual disease (MRD). Six patients with MRD received consolidation with alemtuzumab; five of these patients achieved an MRD-negative CR. With over 3 years of follow-up median progression-free survival was 30.3 months with only 39% of patients requiring additional therapy, and an overall survival was 96%. This study demonstrates that HDMP and rituximab is an effective nonmyelosuppressive treatment combination for patients with CLL that warrants consideration particularly for patients with limited myeloid reserve that might not tolerate standard treatment regimens

Neste módulo trabalharemos os princípios da Comunicação em Saúde mediada por Tecnologia de Informação e Comunicação (TIC). Tem como objetivo introduzir o aluno à utilização das tecnologias de EAD para o desenvolvimento de habilidades e competências para emprego das novas formas de ensinar e aprender, mediadas pelas TICs na informação, educação e comunicação em saúde, e ainda utilização desses recursos para fortalecer estratégias de aprendizagem e mediação colaborativa em rede na base territorial para a Gestão da Informação e do Conhecimento em Saúde. As atividades estão distribuídas em 7 lições assim constituídas: diferenciação entre informação e comunicação; educação aproximativas mediada por tecnologias; fundamentos da comunicação em Saúde; tipos de comunicação; princípios da comunicação para tomada de decisões; planejamento em comunicação e fluxo de comunicação.Fundo Nacional de Saúde - FN

Saúde e cultura da paz

Esse módulo pretende abrir espaço para uma discussão a respeito da importância de se criar cultura de paz baseada na relação com o desenvolvimento humano. É dividido é dividido em quatro lições que visam possibilitar ao especializando: refletir sobre sua rotina (pessoal, familiar, profissional e comunitária); relacionar violência, saúde e contextos sociais; discutir conceitos de cidadania, equidade, justiça social, conflitualidade, não-violência e cultura de paz; refletir sobre as implicações da violência como problema de saúde; identificar ações necessárias ao enfrentamento dos agravos da violência com foco na atenção básica; enfatizar a necessidade da construção de Cultura da Paz a ser assumida como ação de Saúde Publica.Fundo Nacional de Saúde - FN

Promoção da Saúde Bucal
