    - Beluntas leaves contain a variety of active compounds, one of the active compounds, namely tannins. Beluntas leaf tannins can reduce sperm fertilization potential of white rats (Susetyarini, 2010a) and decrease the number of white rat spermatogenic cells (Susetyarini, 2012). However, in these studies have not examined the role of tannins in changing levels of arginine cement white male rats. This aims, administration beluntas leaf tannins in influencing the levels of arginine cement white male rats. This type of research is the experiment with the following treatments: a control group (non-treated) and group treated leaf tannins beluntas. Giving beluntas leaf tannins administered orally as much as 0.8 ml (an effective dose of tannins in inhibiting fertilization of previous research) to white rats once daily for 49 +3, 49 +16, 49 +26, 49 +36, 49 +49 days. Observations were made according to treatment, white rat vas deferens dissected and taken to obtain cement rats. Analysis of the amino acid arginine levels using HPLC. Data were analyzed using ANOVA. The results showed that the effect of tannin There beluntas leaves the amino acid levels arginin white male rats (p <0.05). The control group without treatment giving the average levels of the amino acid arginine 1375.5 mg/100g and the group treated leaf tannins beluntas showed no decrease in the levels of the amino acid arginine of white male rats. The results of the study can be used as a learning resource for students of biology for Animal Reproduction course

    Insilico study of stigmasterol extracted from pluchea indica as antiferility in men

    Docking is a method to predict the strength of the interaction between the receptor and the ligand based on the binding affinity value. The docking carried out in this study is a specific docking with a grid box imitating the bond between AR and inhibitor control drugs. This study aimed to investigate stigmasterol from beluntas leaves potential molecularly as antifertility in men. This type of research is descriptive and exploratory. The research was carried out from November to December 2019. The research was carried out with the help of Indonesia's Bioinformatics and Biomolecular Analysis Organization (INBIO). Method of analysis with 3 steps: (1) Looking for a collection of metabolites and pass online, (2) molecular docking and MD simulation, and (3) drug-likeness and toxicity. Determination of compound potency based on binding affinity value. The more negative the binding affinity, the stronger the interaction between the receptor and the ligand. The results showed that it was predicted that stigmasterol could attach to the same active site (of Methyltrienolone) as the control to affect AR. Stigmasterol has a binding affinity value close to that of the inhibitor control, which is -5.4 kcal/mol, while the inhibitory control has a binding affinity value of -4.6 kcal/mol. The ideal value for control is -7 kcal/mol. The results of the MD Simulation analysis found that the AR-Stigmasterol complex was more stable than the AR-Cyproterone acetate complex due to its lower RMSD and RMSF values. The finding of this study confirmed that stigmasterol from beluntas leaves has the potential as an antifertility for men

    Analysis of Students' Collaborative, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Creative Abilities through Problem-Based Learning

    Students' collaborative, critical thinking, creative thinking, and communication skills need to be trained using problem-based learning on sharing and jumping tasks, which has never been studied. This study aimed to analyze students' collaborative, communication, critical, and creative thinking skills using Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This type of research is descriptive. The research design uses a Lesson Study-based case study. The population in this study were all 5th-semester students who attended lectures on Human and Animal Anatomy Physiology at the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, the Academic year 2021/2022. The sample of this study was students of class 5C with 38 people (total sampling). Data were collected by observation by eight observers using an assessment rubric. Aspects that are measured include critical thinking, creative, collaborative, and communication skills through descriptive quantitative data analysis with percentages. The results showed that students' collaborative, critical thinking, creative thinking, and communication skills were in the good category. There was an increase in the first and second cycles through problem-based learning. The findings of this study are problem-solving-oriented learning can improve classical 4C skills

    Jumlah Sel Spermiogenesis Tikus Putih Yang Diberi Tanin Daun Beluntas (Pluchea Indica) Sebagai Sumber Belajar

    Tanaman obat sebagai antifertilitas belum banyak digunakan, maka perlu alternatif obat antifertilitas terutama pada pria, yaitu beluntas (Pluchea indica). Beluntas dapat digunakan sebagai obat antifertilitas dalam taraf uji pre-klinik (Susetyarini, 2011). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lanjutan tentang tanin yang dapat menurunkan potensi fertilisasi spermatozoa tikus (Susetyarini, 2010). Pengkajian tannin daun beluntas dalam mempengaruhi spermatogenesis belum pernah dilakukan, maka perlu dikaji tahapan spermatogenesis terutama spermiogenesis. Spermiogenesis merupakan proses pembentukan spermatid menjadi spermatozoa. Spermatozoa berperanan dalam proses fertilisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tannin daun beluntas terhadap jumlah sel spermiogenesis tikus putih jantan dengan berbagai waktu pengamatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan eksperimen dengan perlakuan kelompok kontrol (tanpa pemberian tannin), kelompok perlakuan pemberian tannin sebanyak 0,8 ml dengan ke tikus putih jantan dewasa yang diulang 3 kali. Waktu pengamatan 49+3 hari, 49+16 hari, 49+26 hari, 49+36 hari dan 49+49 hari. Tikus putih setiap waktu pengamatan dimatikan dan diambil organ testis serta dibuat preparat histology dengan metode Humason Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan anava dan uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa p<0,05 berarti ada pengaruh pemberian tannin beluntas dengan berbagai waktu pengamatan terhadap jumlah spermatid dan spermatozoa tikus putih jantan. Jumlah spermatid dan spermatozoa terbanyak pada saat waktu pengamatan 49+3 hari dan jumlah spermatid dan spermatozoa terendah pada saat waktu pengamatan 49+49 hari.     Pengembangan Multimedia Interaktif Ceria (MIC) Pembelajaran Tematik di Sekolah Dasar

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif yang memiliki tingkat kevalidan sebagai kriteria media yang diharapkan pada tema keluargaku pokok bahasan tentang keluarga untuk siswa kelas I SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Pengembangan (Research and Development) dari Borg and Gall dengan tiga tahap, (a) Studi pendahuluan dengan melakukan need assement dan studi pustaka, (b) Pengembangan produk awal,` validasi ahli, uji coba terbatas, dan (c) Pengujian dengan melakukan penelitian eksperimen dari produk hipotetik pada sampel 2 SD dengan kondisi kelas yang sebenarnya dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia yang dikembangkan dikategorikan layak berdasarkan validasi ahli menurut ahli materi dengan persentase total 95% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, ahli media dengan persentase total 88% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, hasil uji coba terbatas dengan persentase total 100% kualifikasi sangat baik. Multimedia interaktif ceria ini telah teruji kevalidan dan keefektifannya pada pembelajaran di kelas, tergambar dari nilai pretest 67 dan dari posttest 87. Dari uji t dengan menggunakan prosedur paired samples t-test diperoleh nilai t signifikan <0.01 atau 1%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan multimedia interaktif ceria (MIC) pembelajaran tematik di Sekolah Dasar sangat layak dan memiliki daya guna tinggi serta dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran tematik di kelas I SD. Disarankan seharusnya semua kelas I SD menggunakan media pembelajaran, yaitu multimedia interaktif ceria. Sehingga menghidupkan suasana kelas yang akan menciptakan penyampaikan materi lebih konkrit dan motivasi belajar siswa dapat meningkat serta dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa

    The Damage of Hepar Cells of White Male Mice (Rattus Norvegicus) Which Are Induced by Carbon Tetrachloride (CCl4) After Being Given Bawang Dayak (Eleutherine Palmifolia Merr.) Ethanol Extract

    The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of giving Bawang Dayak extract as a hepatoprotector to CCl4 induced mice. The research design used in this study was experimental research design by using 25 white male mice aged 2-3 months as samples. The ethanol extract of Bawang Dayak was given orally and induce by using intraperitoreal injection, so the treatment was divided into 5 groups; group 1) negative control (without treatment), 2) positive control which was induced CCl4 at a dose 1.3 ml/kg BW ip, 3) given Bawang Dayak extract at a dose 90 mg/kg BW po + CCl4 induced at a dose 1.3 ml/kg BW ip, 4) given Bawang Dayak extract at a dose 100 mg/kg BW po + CCl4 induced at a dose 1.3 ml/kg BW ip, 5) given Bawang Dayak extract at a dose 110 mg/kg BW po + CCl4 induced at a dose 1.3 ml/kg BW ip. The treatment was done for 53 days. On the 54th-57th day, the mice were injected CCl4 intra peritoneal. On the 58th day, the mice were dissected and taken the hepar organ. After that, making the hepar preparat with safranin staining was done. The observation was done by looking at the damaged hepar cells which were classified into piknotik, main karioreksi and kariolisis from 3 fields of view. The data was analyzed by Anova One Way. The result of the study showed the average score of hepar damage of group 1=48, group 2=107.4, group 3=89.2, group 4=61.8, and group 5=45. The analysis showed that giving Bawang Dayak extract at a dose 110 mg/kg BW could improve hepatoprotector CCl4 induced mice

    PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF DENGAN METODE PROBLEM SOLVING MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SMP Diyah Ariska Fitari1, Rr Eko Susetyarini1, Sukarsono1 1Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universtias Muhammadiyah Malang, e-mail: [email protected] ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pelaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan metode problem solving dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Suboh, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Suboh dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan metode problem solving. Hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dengan menerapkankan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif dengan Metode Problem Solving ini menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I terdapat 21 siswa yang tuntas hasil belajarnya dan 9 siswa tidak tuntas hasil belajarnya (ketuntasan mencapai 70%). Sedangkan pada siklus 2 terjadi peningkatan pada hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami ketuntasan sebanyak 28 siswa dan 2 siswa yang tidak tuntas (ketuntasan mencapai 93%). Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif dengan Metode Problem Solving telah berhasil dengan melihat kenaikan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIIB di SMP Negeri 1 Suboh Kabupaten Situbondo

Yuridis that is solution based on law and regulation arranging about procedural of making of minutes of inspection.\ud Sosiologis that is by seeing practice of field in making of minutes of inspection done by investigator.
