Farm waste recycling have a role in prevent cause of environment pollute, and in other side canincrease of plant production. One thing which real enough that a lot of farm waste can changebecame organic fertilizer. This reasearch is proposed to find out effect of growth and productionresponse of mustard ( Brassica juncea L. ) as guano and rabbit urine given. The research startedfrom november 2011 until january 2012. The design use randomized block design factorial with 2aspect. The first aspect is guano consist of four stages those are G0 ( 0 g/plant ), G1 ( 4 g/plant ), G2( 8 g/plant ), G3 ( 12 g/plant ). The second factor is rabbit urine consist four stages those are U0 ( 0ml/L water ), U1 ( 20 ml/L water ), U2 ( 40 ml/L water ), U3 ( 60 ml/L water ). Guano givenperform real effect to plant height, number of leaf, leaf area, fresh weight per plant, dry weight perplant, production per plot, but not gave any influenced to production per hectare and harvest index.Rabbit urine given perform real effect to plant height, number of leaf, leaf area, fresh weight perplant, dry weight per plant, production per plot, but not gave any influenced to plant height at 2MST, number of leaf 2 MST, production per hectare and harvest index. The interaction betweenboth aspect influenced on plant fresh weight, dry weight, production per plot but not gave anyinfluenced to plant height, number of leaf, production per hectare and harvest index

Hubungan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Dengan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Berita Pada Siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kemampuan menulis teks berita pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan tahun pembelajaran 2015/2016. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan yang berjumlah 227 orang. Sampel diambil dari populasi sebanyak 42 orang dengan teknik random sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif korelasional. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk menjaring data adalah instrumen tes. Dalam hal ini, instrumen yang digunakan untuk menjaring data kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah instrumen tes objektif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk menjaring data kemampuan menulis teks berita adalah instrumen tes penugasan menulis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tiga hal. Pertama, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa tergolong ke dalam kategori cukup (= 61,95). Kedua, kemampuan menulis teks berita siswa tergolong ke dalam kategori cukup (). Ketiga, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan kemampuan menulis teks berita siswa (thitung> ttabel). Besaran korelasinya (rxy = 0,86 ) berada pada rentangan 0,800 - 1,000 dan tergolong ke dalam kategori sangat tinggi

Pengaruh Lama Penyimpanan Dan Diameter Stum Mata Tidur Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Karet (Hevea Brasiliensis Muell. Arg.)

The purpose of this research is to found out the influence of storage period and diameter stump on stump rubber growth. This research was conducted at experimental field of Agriculture Faculty, University of North Sumatera, Medan, in april until august 2015, using randomized block design with two factors, i.e storage period (0,5,10,15,20 days) and diameter of stump (1.6-2.0 cm, 2.1-2.5cm, 2.6-3.0 cm). Parameters observed were percentage of grow, time of break bud, height of bud, diameter of bud, amount of leaf, total leaf area, root length, root dried weight and shoot dried weight. The result showed that the storage period significantly affected on percentage of grow, diameter of bud, amount of leaf, total leaf area and root length. While the treatment diameter of stump significantly affected on percentage of grow and root length. The interaction of two factor significantly affected on percentage of grow and root length

Research about comparative study of food types of fish Keperas (P. binotatus) inthe river of Aek Pahu Tombak, Aek Pahu Hutamosu and river of Parbotikan DistrictBatang Toru that have aim to determine the types of food in fish and feeding habit ofPuntius binotatus. The research was occured in the river of Aek Pahu Tombak, AekPahu Hutamosu dan river of Parbotikan District Batang Toru in January-March2013.The method of fishing is used by elektrofising gear 12 volt. The analysis of dataincludes the relationship of fish length and weight, condition factor, bulk index (IndexPropenderance), the index of food options, wider food niche, and niche overlap of food.The result showed that fish keperas (P. binotatus) eat 6 groups of organisms that arepresent in all research station, types of Bacillariophyceae is the main food,Chlorophyceae, Monogononta, Ciliophora, and detritus as a supplement food, andCyanophyceae as additives food

Mikrobiota Dominan Dan Perannya Dalam Cita Rasa Tape Singkong

Tape singkong adalah jenis pangan fermentasi traditional Indonesia. Kualitasnya ditentukan oleh mikrob. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi mikrob dominan dan mengkaji peranan mikrob tersebut terhadap cita rasa tape singkong. Analisis mikrob dilakukan terhadap tape singkong yang diperoleh dari Jakarta. Identifikasi khamir dilakukan berdasarkan sekuen daerah ITS rDNA, dan identifikasi bakteri berdasarkan sekuen gen 16S rRNA. Kelimpahan khamir ditemukan sekitar 10 7 CFU/g yang terdiri atas Saccharomyces cereviceae dan Pichia jadini. Bakteri yang dominan ditemukan Bacillus subtilis, Lactobacillus plantarum, dan Pseudomonas fragi. Masing-masing dengan kelimpahan 10 8 CFU/g. Tape singkong telah diproduksi menggunakan S. cereviceae (KO), S. cereviceae + B. subtilis (K1), S. cereviceae + L. plantarum (K2), dan S. cereviceae + P. fragi (K3). Produksi tape singkong menggunakan S. cereviceae (KO) memiliki kualitas paling rendah karena teksturnya keras, tidak beraroma, tidak manis, sehingga tidak memiliki karakteristik tape singkong secara umum. Tape singkong yang diproduksi menggunakan S. cereviceae + B. subtilis (K1) paling menguntungkan karena rasanya manis, aroma alkoholnya tidak terlalu tajam, dan tekstur lembut sehingga merupakan jenis tape singkong yang paling disenangi oleh panelis
