Biofilter aquaponic system for nutrients removal from fresh market wastewater

Aquaponics is a significant wastewater treatment system which refers to the combination of conventional aquaculture (raising aquatic organism) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) in a symbiotic environment. This system has a high ability in removing nutrients compared to conventional methods because it is a natural and environmentally friendly system (aquaponics). The current chapter aimed to review the possible application of aquaponics system to treat fresh market wastewater with the intention to highlight the mechanism of phytoremediation occurs in aquaponic system. Evaluating the relationship between sexual function and marital satisfaction in married Kurdish women in year 2016

BACKGROUND: Sexual satisfaction and ultimately marital satisfaction have a significant role in couples' adaptation. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between sexual function and marital satisfaction of married Kurdish women referred to health centers in Sanandaj, Iran, in 2016.METHODS: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 500 married women referred to health centers in Sanandaj City in 2016. Sexual function information was collected using the standard Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) questionnaire. In order to investigate the marital satisfaction, the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Inventory (MSI) was also used. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. Pearson correlation test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used.RESULTS: In terms of adultery scales, the sexual satisfaction for majority of women was moderate. The average score of sexual satisfaction was 20.37 ± 8.40 from 36. Between sexual satisfaction with age (r = 0.223) and spouse's age (r = 0.26), correlation was inversely significant (P = 0.0001). Sexual function was significantly correlated with the level of adultery scales including sexual satisfaction, communication, conflict resolution, and ideal distortion (P < 0.0500).CONCLUSION: Given that sexual performance in this study was moderate and there was a relationship between sexual satisfaction and marital satisfaction, sexual education and counseling to women and men during marriage by health and social systems is recommended

HER2-Positive Metaplastic Spindle Cell Carcinoma Associated with Synchronous Bilateral Apocrine Carcinoma of the Breast

Apocrine carcinoma, which is strictly defined as over 90% of tumor cells showing apocrine differentiation, is a rare variant of breast cancer. Here we report an uncommon case in which apocrine carcinomas developed concurrently in both breasts; in addition, a sarcomatoid spindle cell lesion was coincident in the right breast. Both apocrine carcinomas were immunohistochemically negative for estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PgR), but diffusely positive for androgen receptor (AR), GCDFP-15, and HER2. The presence of intraductal components in bilateral carcinomas and the absence of lymph node metastasis suggested that they were more likely to be individual primary lesions rather than metastatic disease. The spindle cell lesion showed a relatively well-circumscribed nodule contiguous with the apocrine carcinoma. HER2 oncoprotein overexpression was observed not only in the apocrine carcinoma, but also in the spindle cell lesion. Since the spindle cell component was intimately admixed with apocrine carcinoma and had focal cytokeratin expression, we diagnosed it as metaplastic spindle cell carcinoma, which was originated from the apocrine carcinoma. To our knowledge, this is the first case report of a patient with synchronous bilateral apocrine carcinomas coinciding with metaplastic carcinoma

Työturvallisuus siivoustyössä

Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tutkia työturvallisuuden toteutumista käytännössä siivoustyössä erilaisissa kohteissa. Työturvallisuus työpaikoilla on osa työsuojelua ja työsuojelu puolestaan on toimintaa, jolla ylläpidetään ja edistetään työpaikan työympäristön ja työolojen turvallisuutta ja terveellisyyttä sekä työntekijöiden fyysistä ja psyykkistä työkykyä. Työturvallisuus työsuojelun osana tarkastelee työympäristöä, eli työtiloja, työvälineitä, koneita ja laitteita, työntekijän terveyden ja turvallisuuden kannalta. Siivoustyö luokitellaan keskiraskaaksi työksi, johon liittyy tekijöitä, jotka voivat olla haitaksi työntekijän terveydelle tai turvallisuudelle. Useimmat riskit voidaan välttää oikeilla työtavoilla ja suojautumisella. Oikeat työtavat opitaan kouluttautumalla alalle tai työpaikalla perehdytyksen yhteydessä. Työturvallisuuden toteutumista tutkittiin tekemällä kyselytutkimus kahdessa eri siivousalan yrityksessä. Kyselyihin vastasi joukko eri-ikäisiä siivousalan työntekijöitä ja tuloksia vertailtiin työturvallisuuden teoriaan ja lainsäädännön määräyksiin. Tutkimus osoitti, että työturvallisuudesta ollaan hyvin tietoisia siivousalalla ja siihen panostetaan paljon. Työntekijät kohtaavat päivittäin työssään työturvallisuuteen liittyviä asioita ja työpaikoilla annetaan runsaasti koulutusta ja tietoa työturvallisuudesta. Hyvästä tilanteesta huolimatta tarvitaan edelleen lisää koulutusta ja tutkimusta, jotta työturvallisuutta voidaan edelleen kehittää ja lisätä.The subject of this thesis was to collect information on occupational safety in cleaning work. Occupational safety is part of health and safety in workplaces. Health and safety practices and laws ensure workers with safe working environment, suitable working equipment and manageable working methods. Cleaning work is classified as a medium-heavy work, meaning that it contains elements which could pose threats to workers’ safety or health. Most risks can be avoided with suitable working methods and protective equipment. The best way to ensure safety at work is to take necessary precautions, such as give sufficient education and information for everyone. The realization of occupational safety was researched by carrying out a survey in two different companies, which offer cleaning services. A varied number of cleaning workers answered the survey questions and the results were compared with the theory of occupational safety and the regulations of the law. The findings indicated that the workers were well aware of the rules and regulations of occupational safety at their respective workplaces. It was also found out that a lot of effort is put to inform and educate everyone in the matter. The workers deal with health and safety issues and risks on a daily basis and feel that they have enough information and help at hand. However, in spite of a positive situation in regards of occupational safety, even more education and research is needed to keep up this level of good quality in health and safety

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi wajib pajak mengenai mafia pajak, pengetahuan pajak, dan sistem informasi perpajakan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah wajib pajak yang terdaftar pada kantor pelayanan pajak Jakarta Kebayoran Baru Dua. Ada 55 sampel dalam penelitian ini. Metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling. Data diolah menggunakan metode regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel persepsi wajib pajak mengenai mafia pajak tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak. Sedangkan pengetahuan pajak dan sistem informasi perpajakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak

PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PETA PIKIRAN BAGI ANAK USIA DINI

The aims of this research are to know the upgrading of learning outcome in islamic study by use of mind map method and are there any increase of grade first class elementary student capability of learning outcome in islamic study after giving the learning outcome in islamic study by use of mind map method. 24 students of first class at Amaliah Elementary Ciawi-Bogor are the subject of this research.This research used action research method according to Kemmis and Mc.Taggart that consist of four step: 1) plan, 2) action, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The data was collected by filed notes, interview, observation, test, an documentation. The data was analyzed by qualitative and quantitative method.The result of research shows that the learning outcome in islamic study by use of mind map method could increase capability of first class elementary students. Whereas the learning outcome in islamic study consist of cognitive, afective, and psikomotor.</jats:p

Implementasi Media Piring Cakra dalam Meningkatkan Pembelajaran Huruf Hijaiyah Anak Usia Dini

Learning hijaiyah letters is certainly very good if it is learned andtaught to children from an early age, of course by using concrete and interesting mediaaccording to their stage of development so that learning activities are able to present apleasant experience for them. This study aims to describe implementation of the cakraplate media in improving the learning of hijaiyah letters in early childhood. Theformulation of the problem is how implementation of the cakra plate media inimproving the learning of hijaiyah letters in early childhood?. This study uses aclassroom action research (CAR) method using an instrument of early childhood activityobservation sheets. The result showed that in pre-cycle the average value of children inBSB category was 25%, the firs cycle the average value of children in BSB category was36.25%, and the second cycle the average value of children in BSB category was 76.25%.The results of the study showed an increase in hijaiyah learning through the cakra platemedia with an average result that increases in BSB category in early childhood. Thus, theimplementation of the cakra plate media in improving the learning of hijaiyah letters isvery effective and works very well to be applied to early childhood.</jats:p
