    Pusat Edukasi Ekosistem Hutan Bakau di Surabaya ini merupakan fasilitas edukasi yang mewadahi kegiatan masyarakat sehubungan dengan pengenalan dan pembudidayaan ekosistem hutan bakau. Hal itu didukung dengan potensi hutan bakau di Surabaya yang memiliki keanekaragaman hayati terbesar di Pulau Jawa. Fasilitas edukasi ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai hutan bakau beserta ekosistemnya bukan hanya secara lisan namun dari segi arsitektural yaitu dari bangunan dan lingkungannya. Hutan bakau Wonorejo memiliki habitat yang unik, yaitu pada kawasan tambak dan aliran sungai. Oleh karena itu proyek yang terletak di Wonorejo ini menggunakan pendekatan ekologi arsitektur yang memperhatikan kondisi tapak agar dapat mewujudkan bangunan dan lansekap yangmampu beradaptasi terhadap habitat ekosistem hutan bakau. Ekologi arsitektur pada bangunan diwujudkan dengan pemilihan material lokal dan material yang terbarukan, sistem konstruksi yang sederhana, dan desain pasif untuk memaksimalkan pencahayaan alami dan penghawaan pasif.     Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari faktor-faktor lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja di hotel ‘X' di Surabaya. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian kuantitatif ini adalah Partial Least Square (PLS). Penelitian ini meneliti 70 karyawan yang bekerja di Hotel ‘X' di Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan, serta kepuasan kerja juga memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.     At this modern age, interactive media program is already widely used for learning. Making the interactive media program aims to make students learn more class VII although not in school hours. This is done so that the students of class VII, can make a more effective and less confused in school learning at the temperature and heat chapter. The program used is Unity using the programming language C sharp.In the interactive media program there are 5 material ie shops, schools, parks schools, offices, and homes. Every material has a different learning but still in the learning of temperature and heat. Exam contained in the interactive media program includes a wide thermometer, temperature formula, formula substances expansion, expansion events, and heat transfer. The material has been taken through the stages of an interview with a teacher of Physics.Based on the results of the questionnaire, 55% expressed the view on a good program, 75% said that the storyline in targeted programs, 76.25% stated that the program is easy to play, 80% stated that the program is easy to understand, and 85% stating that the program as a whole can help understanding the physics lesson

    A lot of environmental damage has occurred in Indonesia, including illegal logging and excessive use of natural resources, without any sustainable conservation. This can happen due to the lack of awareness of the local community regarding the importance of protecting the environment, especially nature in the surrounding environment. Because if the nature around humans has been degraded then the humans themselves will receive the effects, especially future generations who will be the inheritors of nature. The implementation of the KKN activities lasted for 1 day in Negeri Wahai, North Seram District with a structured program and targets, namely the socialization activity "Youth Participation in Protecting the Environment" was carried out using the material presentation method to the youth of Negeri Wahai. The purpose of implementing this Community Service Program is to increase youth awareness and concern for the importance of protecting the environment, especially nature in Negeri Wahai.     As an alternative technique, electroless deposition is gaining interest due to its simplicity (solution-based process, no complex instrumentation), economical aspect, and effectiveness to form certain desired film thicknesses and morphologies on a wide variety of substrates. This work describes the use of water-soluble, polyvalent star polymer templates to form spontaneous self-limiting monolayers on complimentary functionalized substrates that act as efficient adhesion layers for the electroless deposition of thin gold films. The resulting gold films display outstanding thickness control, uniformity, reproducibility, and plasmon resonance generation, as evaluated by Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy (RBS), surface plasmon resonance (SPR) spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The adaptation of this technique to the formation of core-shell gold nanoparticles was also shown to be feasible. The synthesized star polymer-templated gold nanoshells display a tunable NIR absorption depending on their size. By utilizing star polymers as templates, other materials such as drugs or chromophores can be effortlessly embedded inside the star polymer via self-assembled occlusion complex formation. This ability coupled with the efficacy of gold nanoshells in absorbing NIR light and transferring the light energy as heat to their surrounding environment can lead to an integrated form of imaging contrast, drug-delivery system, and photothermal ablation agent

    Intensi berselingkuh menjadi masalah ketika melihat tingkat perceraian yang semakin tinggi dan penyebab terbesar adalah perselingkuhan. Berselingkuh dapat mengakibatkan perasaan sakit secara emosional serta kekhawatiran jika suatu saat terungkap (Jones, Olderbak, & Figueredo, 2010). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji korelasi antara intensi berselingkuh dengan kepribadian, yang diukur dengan menggunakan big five personality. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 136 mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Surabaya semester gasal 2012-2013 angkatan 2010 hingga 2012. Teknik pengukuran dilakukan secara kuantitatif menggunakan skala IT IS dan IPIP-50 butir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa empat dimensi big five personality yaitu ekstraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, dan openess to experience tidak berkorelasi secara signifikan dengan intensi berselingkuh. Dimensi lain yaitu emotional stability memiliki korelasi negatif dan signifikan dengan intens berselingkuh. Dengan demikian, intensi berselingkuh tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh kepribadian saja, Akan tetapi terdapat juga faktor-faktor lain yang bersifat eksternal dan situasional seperti gender dan kualitas relasi

    There have been many cases of fraud that show the weakness of internal control in management at PT Bank Maluku Malut. Thus it is hoped that the emergence of GCG can help banking management to minimize and reduce the number of frauds that occur at the bank. This research was made to see the implementation of internal audit at PT Bank Maluku Malut plays an important role in realizing Good Corporate Governance so that through the principles of GCG the company can efficiently reduce the number of frauds. The study used the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach as data analysis. PLS is a component or variant-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) equation model. The data used is primary data, which is collected through a research questionnaire, with a research population of 30 people, namely all auditors and internal control branches at PT Bank Maluku Malut. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Internal Auditor has a significant influence in realizing Good Corporate Governance while the Internal Audit Role does not have a significant influence on fraud prevention, but if using Good Corporate Governance (GCG) as an intervening variable, the role of internal audit will affect Fraud Prevention with a significance level of α = 0.05

Here we report results of a detailed morphological analysis, which revealed that chromokinesin KIF4 cooperated in a parallel pathway with condensin complexes to promote the lateral compaction of chromatid arms. In this analysis, KIF4 and condensin were mutually dependent for their dynamic localization on the chromatid axes. Depletion of either caused sister chromatids to expand and compromised the "intrinsic structure" of the chromosomes (defined in an in vitro assay), with loss of condensin showing stronger effects. Simultaneous depletion of KIF4 and condensin caused complete loss of chromosome morphology. In these experiments, topoisomerase IIα contributed to shaping mitotic chromosomes by promoting the shortening of the chromatid axes and apparently acting in opposition to the actions of KIF4 and condensins. These three proteins are major determinants in shaping the characteristic mitotic chromosome morphology
