Embedded Ethernet Web Server for a Robot Arm Control
The World Wide Web has provided a strong medium for networked computing with
independent platform. As the Internet continues to grow, there will be a practical as well
as economical sense to connect number of devices to the Internet. Hence, embedded web
servers are needed to access, monitor, and control these devices. This work investigates
the issues involved in developing an embedded web server which monitors and controls a
number of devices through its re-configurable I/O ports. This thesis also provides detail
discussion on the software and hardware aspects of an embedded web server. Site Player
embedded server module is used as a base unit in this research. With the PC interface,
embedded server module is configured with appropriate I/O control codes as well as user
interface. The example application used with the embedded server module is a servodrive
robot arm which has four servo motors to control the movements of its base, arm,
wrist, and grip. Further integration and greater capability of web-enable devices which
are being used in factory automation and home appliances control are discussed as future
works of this research
Selanjutnya direvisi melalui Keppres No. 39 tahun 1969 tanggal 21 Januari 1969 dengan tugas pokok
melakukan stabilisasi harga beras, dan kemudian direvisi kembali melalui Keppres No 39 tahun 1987,
Perubahan berikutnya dilakukan melalui Keppres No. 103
sistem rantai pasok beras.

Teachers’ aides working in secondary school settings: preparedness and professional learning
In Victoria, Australia teachers’ aides (TAs) are employed to provide support to students with disabilities in accessing their education. The role of the TAs varies within and across school settings. Drawing from the findings of a quantitative study, the purpose of this paper is to develop an understanding of teachers’ aides’ perceptions of their preparedness to perform 18 student-related tasks within the state secondary school setting in Victoria, Australia. In all, 163 participants completed the on-line questionnaire. The results of the study showed that that in general TAs perceive there are tasks relevant to their roles in supporting students with disabilities; and there are tasks that are not applicable to that role. The TAs in this study considered that they had training that enabled them to effectively perform the listed student related tasks to support students with disabilities in the secondary school environment
The role of contralesional dorsal premotor cortex after stroke as studied with concurrent TMS-fMRI.
Contralesional dorsal premotor cortex (cPMd) may support residual motor function following stroke. We performed two complementary experiments to explore how cPMd might perform this role in a group of chronic human stroke patients. First, we used paired-coil transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to establish the physiological influence of cPMd on ipsilesional primary motor cortex (iM1) at rest. We found that this influence became less inhibitory/more facilitatory in patients with greater clinical impairment. Second, we applied TMS over cPMd during functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in these patients to examine the causal influence of cPMd TMS on the whole network of surviving cortical motor areas in either hemisphere and whether these influences changed during affected hand movement. We confirmed that hand grip-related activation in cPMd was greater in more impaired patients. Furthermore, the peak ipsilesional sensorimotor cortex activity shifted posteriorly in more impaired patients. Critical new findings were that concurrent TMS-fMRI results correlated with the level of both clinical impairment and neurophysiological impairment (i.e., less inhibitory/more facilitatory cPMd-iM1 measure at rest as assessed with paired-coil TMS). Specifically, greater clinical and neurophysiological impairment was associated with a stronger facilitatory influence of cPMd TMS on blood oxygenation level-dependent signal in posterior parts of ipsilesional sensorimotor cortex during hand grip, corresponding to the posteriorly shifted sensorimotor activity seen in more impaired patients. cPMd TMS was not found to influence activity in other brain regions in either hemisphere. This state-dependent influence on ipsilesional sensorimotor regions may provide a mechanism by which cPMd supports recovered function after stroke

The Use of a Code Lavender Space to Promote Self-care
The nursing shortage has been an ongoing issue across the nation. The workforce has lost valuable employees, especially in rural areas, due to staff shortages and lack of self-care. Implementing therapeutic interventions such as a Code Lavender Room aims to implement self-care during working hours to increase nursing retention in the long term. The goal of this quality improvement project was to provide a safe place for employees to go to relax and reset during working hours. A survey was used to analyze the Code Lavender Room\u27s effectiveness in self-care and how likely the staff are to continue to use the room for self-care. Results showed the team utilized the Code Lavender Room and stated it was helpful in improving moods after a stressful event. The project had positive impacts on staff by creating a working environment where staff are aware of and can maintain self-care
The iron regulatory axis of pulmonary artery vascular cells; disruption and implications for PAH subtypes
Introduction: Pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH) is a devastating and rare disease characterised by restricted flow through the pulmonary arterial circulation resulting in increased pulmonary vascular resistance; which ultimately results in right heart failure and death. Vascular remodelling is hypothesised to be caused by chronic inflammation, disrupted metabolism and dysregulated growth factors leading to endothelial and smooth muscle cell proliferation. Iron deficiency is prevalent in PAH and has been associated with reduced exercise capacity and increase mortality that makes iron deficiency clinically relevant and a potential therapeutic target for PAH. Systematically iron is regulated by the hepcidin/ferroportin axis, hepcidin, described as the global iron regulator, binds to ferroportin, an iron exporter, causing internalisation, thus preventing iron export. Hepcidin has been described to be elevated in patients with idiopathic PAH, therefore the present of this axis has been investigated in human pulmonary endothelial cells (hPAECs) and the manipulation of this axis will lead to iron retention by these cells with consequences that could influence responses locally of other surrounding cells.
Methodology: hPAECs were grown and treated with either hepcidin, IL-6 or haemoglobin. Gene expression was examined by real-time PCR and protein expression by western blot or flow cytometry. hPAECs mediators release was determined by ELISA and proliferation by BrdU and MTS assays. hPAECs and
2
human smooth muscle cells (hPASMC) mitochondrial function were examined by the Seahorse assay.
Conclusions: this study present findings that demonstrated the presence of the hepcidin/ferroportin in hPAECs that allows for local iron homeostatic control and modulation of this axis in these cells presents a PAH like phenotype that could contribute to vascular remodelling. Furthermore, IL-6 and hepcidin caused aberrant-BMPR2 signalling, in which BMPR2 protein is downregulated, however downstream signalling of BMPR2 remains active. The results present here here also supports the hypothesis that subclinical haemolysis may have a role in PAH pathophysiology.Open Acces
Design and Verification of a Round-Robin Arbiter
As the number of bus masters increases in chip, the performance of a system largely depends on the arbitration scheme. The throughput of the system is affected by the arbiter circuit which controls the grant for various requestors. An arbitration scheme is usually chosen based on the application. A memory arbiter decides which CPU will get access for each cycle. A packet switch uses an arbiter to decide which input packet will be scheduled to the output. This paper introduces a Round-robin arbitration with adjustable weight of resource access time. The Round-robin arbiter mechanism is useful when no starvation of grants is allowed. The arbiter quantizes time shares each requestor is allowed to have. A minimal fairness is guaranteed by granting requestors in Round-robin manner. The requestors can prioritize their time shares by the weight. For example, if requestor A has a weight of two and requestor B has a weight of four, arbiter will allocate requestor B with time slice two times longer than that of requestor A’s. The verification of the design is carried out using SystemVerilog. The inputs of the arbiter are randomized, outputs are predicted in a software model and verification coverage is collected. The work in this paper includes design and verification of a weighted Round-robin arbiter
