    The Use Of Cabri 3D Software As Virtual Manipulation Tool In 3-Dimension Geometry Learning To Improve Junior High School Students’ Spatial Ability

    This study is aimed to know students’ spatial ability who work under 3-dimension learning use Cabri 3D software at Junior High School in Bandung. The using of Cabri 3D software as manipulative tool in 3-dimension geometry learning can reduce misperception about 3-dimension materials. This study is quasi-experiment and the instruments cosist of spatial ability test and students’ worksheet. This study is conducted for 8th grade students at Junior High School in Bandung. Based on study result, it is found that students’ spatial ability enhancement under the learning, where Cabri 3D software is used, than those who were taught by conventional learning. From five elements of spatial ability based on Meir (1976), only 2 elements of spatial ability which do has no improve merit significantly, namely, perception ability component and visualization ability, while rotation ability, relation ability and orientation ability have improved significantly.     Efek Anti Hiperkolesterolemik Karagenan Rumput Laut Dalam Diet Terhadap Plasma Lipid Tikus Putih

    Penyakit Jantung Koroner (PJK) merupakan masalah kesehatan yang cukup serius, di USA, Eropa, dan Indonesia masing-masing 52, 49, dan 23,39% kematian disebabkan oleh PJK yang terjadi karena adanya penyempitan pembuluh darah kapiler akibat penimbunan lipid. PJK dapat dicegah dengan mengonsumsi makanan berserat seperti rumput laut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terbaik dari komposisi tepung karagenan rumput laut spesies Eucheuma cottonii yang ditambahkan ke dalam diet terhadap profil kolesterol total, LDL (low density lipoprotein), HDL (high density lipoprotein), dan trigliserida dalam serum darah tikus putih Sprague dawley yang berkaitan dengan hiperkolesterolemik. 16 ekor tikus jantan dibagi ke dalam empat kelompok dan masing-masing diadaptasi dengan diet standar selama satu minggu. Selanjutnya tikus diberi diet standar kuning telur bebek (5mL/ekor/hari) selama tiga minggu hingga tikus mencapai kondisi hiperkolesterolemik (total kolesterol plasma >300 mg/dL). Selanjutnya kelompok tikus diberi diet perlakuan selama tiga minggu dengan diet tanpa karagenan (Ko), 5% karagenan (K1), 10% karagenan (K2), 15% karagenan (K3). Setiap selesai masa adaptasi, praperlakuan, dan perlakuan dilakukan analisis profil lipid. Hasil analisis profil lipid plasma darah tikus menunjukkan bahwa karagenan dalam diet dapat memperbaiki profil lipid plasma darah tikus. Pengaruh terbaik diberikan oleh diet yang mengandung 10% karagenan (K2). Kolesterol total, LDL, dan trigliserida mengalami penurunan masing-masing sebesar 47,76, 62,63, dan 42,01% sedangkan kolesterol HDL meningkat sebesar 94,94%

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan spasial dengan pembelajaran menggunakan software Cabri 3D di Kelas VIII SMP, khususnya SMP Talenta Bandung. Pada penelitian ini, Cabri 3D difungsikan sebagai alat peraga maya dalam pembelajaran geometri bangun ruang. Salahsatu permasalahan pembelajaran geometri bangun ruang adalah adanya misperseption (salah persepsi) apabila disajikan dengan menggunakan papan tulis 2 dimensi. Selain untuk meningkat kemampuan spasial, pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Cabri 3D bertujuan untuk mengurangi salah persepsi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi-eksperimen dengan instrumen penelitian adalah tes kemampuan spasial, bahan ajar berupa LKS dan non-tes berupa skala sikap. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Talenta Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan spasial pada pembelajaran menggunakan Cabri 3D lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Dari lima dimensi kemampuan spasial, hanya 2 dimensi kemampuan spasial yang tidak mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan yaitu dimensi kemampuan persepsi dan dimensi kemampuan visualisasi, sedangkan dimensi kemampuan rotasi, dimensi kemampuan relasi dan dimensi kemampuan orientasi mengalami peningkatan signifikan. Hasil Uji ANOVA Dua-jalur antara kelompok kelas (kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen) dengan kelompok nilai awal matematika (kelompok atas, kelompok sedang, dan kelompok bawah), pada kelompok kelas menunjukan adanya perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan spasial secara signifikan, sedangkan pada kelompok nilai tidak ada perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan spasial secara signifikan. Dengan kata lain, Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Cabri 3D dapat mengurangi gap (jurang) kemampuan spasial antara kelompok atas, kelompok sedang, dan kelompok bawah. Secara umum, siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Cabri 3D memiliki sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan Cabri 3D.     ABSTRAKSI PADA PERKULIAHAN TEORI GRUP: STUDI FENOMENOLOGI HERMENEUTIK PADA MAHASISWA CALON GURU

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri fenomena abstraksi dan makna-makna objek yang muncul ketika perkuliahan teori grup pada mahasiswa calon guru matematika. Dua hal ini penting dalam aktivitas belajar matematika bagi mahasiswa calon guru yang akan membantu siswa dalam mengkonstruksi pengetahuan matematika. Abstraksi merupakan aktivitas kognitif dalam membangun pengetahuan dengan fokus pada hal-hal yang dianggap penting sebagai dasar pengetahuan baru. Makna objek matematika merupakan representasi dari pemahaman objek matematika yang keluar dari mahasiswa calon guru. Berdasarkan tujuan penelitian, realitas penelitian yang diungkap yaitu tentang fenomena pengalaman belajar (abstraksi) dan makna-makna objek teori grup, maka penggunaan penelitian kualitatif dengan studi Fenomenologi Hermeneutik digunakan sebagai metodologi dalam penelitian ini. Kerangka teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Triadik Harel yaitu Mental Act-Ways of Thinking-Ways of Understanding. Selain teori triadik Harel sebagai kerangka teori besarnya, diperlukan teori Abstraksi Struktural dan Abstraksi Reflektif baik teori APOS, RBC+C, dan teori Reifikasi untuk memahami fenomena abstraksi. Makna objek diperdalam dengan menggunakan teori Konsep dan Objek dari Frege dan Sfard. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini 7 mahasiswa calon guru yang sedang belajar teori grup dikondisikan dengan bentuk aktivitas Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data yang diperoleh berupa aktivitas FGD dari 10 video, 20 audio wawancara pendalaman, dan 7 file pdf catatan harian partisipan. Semua data digital tersebut dikelola, diolah, dan dikoding dengan bantuan aplikasi QDAS Nvivo 12. Temuan dan diskusi hasil dalam penelitian ini tentang aksi mental dan makna objek teori grup pada mahasiswa calon guru. Aksi mental yang muncul pada perkuliahan teori grup diantaranya: aksi kontekstualisasi, aksi menghubungkan pengetahuan baru dengan pengetahuan lama, aksi fokus dan abai pada suatu objek, aksi merampingkan argumentasi, dan aksi manipulasi objek. Makna-makna objek teori grup unik yang ditemukan diantaranya: makna subgrup identik dengan subset, makna invers identik dengan satu per, makna identitas sama dengan menghilangkan elemen, dan makna grup siklik identik dengan elemen berpangkat. Dalam diskusi penelitian, aksi mental yang muncul bisa sebagai tahapan abstraksi dari teori abstraksi yang di teori APOS dan teori RBC+C yaitu aksi kontekstualisasi, fokus dan abai, sintesis pengetahuan, dan merampingkan argumentasi. Aksi kontekstualisasi merupakan aksi mental yang menonjol dalam tahapan abstraksi dan penting disajikan karena berkaitan dengan calon guru yang akan menyampaikan kembali materi tersebut pada konteks yang berbeda. Makna objek yang muncul jika dilihat dari abstraksi memiliki sifat yang operasional dan dinamis. Mahasiswa calon guru harus mampu melakukan abstraksi ketika menyerap pengetahuan dan melakukan kontekstualisasi kembali ketika akan menyampaikan pengetahuannya kembali This study aims to explore the phenomenon of abstraction and object meanings that appear during group theory learning for pre-service mathematics teachers. These two things are important in learning mathematics activities for pre-service mathematics teachers who will transfer their knowledge to students. Abstraction is a cognitive activity in building knowledge with a focus on things that are considered important as the basis of new knowledge. The meaning of mathematical objects is a representation of the understanding of mathematical objects that come out of pre-service mathematics teachers. Based on the research objectives, the reality of the research that is revealed is about the phenomenon of learning experiences (abstraction) and the meanings of group theory objects, so the use of qualitative research with Hermeneutic Phenomenology studies is used as the methodology in this study. The theoretical framework used in this study uses Harel's Triadic theory, namely Mental Act-Ways of Thinking-Ways of Understanding. In addition to Harel's triadic theory as his grand theoretical framework, Structural Abstraction and Reflective Abstraction theory, both APOS theory, RBC+C, and Reification theory are needed to understand abstraction phenomena. Concepts and Objects theory from Frege and from Sfard to understand more deeply about object meaning.The participants in this study were 7 pre-service mathematics teachers who were studying group theory in the form of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities. The data obtained in the form of FGD activities from 10 videos, 6 audio group discussions, 7 audio in-depth interviews, and 7 pdf files of participants' diaries. All digital data is managed, processed, and coded with the help of the QDAS Nvivo 12 software. The findings and discussion of the results in this study are about mental actions and the meaning of group theory objects on pre-service mathematics teachers. Mental actions that appear in group theory lectures include: contextualizing actions, connecting new knowledge with old knowledge, focusing and ignoring an object, streamlining arguments, and object manipulation. The meanings of unique group theory objects found include: the meaning of the subgroup as subset, the meaning of the inverse as one per, the meaning of identity as removing the element, and the meaning of the cyclic group as the rank element. In the research discussion, the mental actions that appear can be as stages of abstraction from the abstraction theory in APOS theory and RBC + C theory, namely contextualization, focus and neglect, knowledge synthesis, and streamlining argumentation. Contextualization action is a mental action that stands out in the abstraction stage and is important to present because it relates to pre-service mathematics teachers who will re-deliver the material in a different context. The meaning of the object that appears when viewed from the abstraction has an operational and dynamic nature. Student teacher candidates must be able to abstract when absorbing knowledge and contextualize again when conveying their knowledge again

    Analisis Unsur Pembelajaran Reflektif Berbasis Alur MERDEKA sebagai Penguatan Karakter Mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru Prajabatan

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh model pembelajaran alur MERDEKA yang hadir dalam konteks meraih capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah Pendidikan Profesi Guru prajabatan. Selama dua tahun diimplementasikan belum diketahui mengapa pembelajaran reflektif menjadi ruh alur MERDEKA. Artikel ini dibuat hasil analisis unsur pembelajaran refleksi dalam pembelajaran alur MERDEKA. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui alasan pembelajaran reflektif disebut ruh alur MERDEKA. Dalam mengumpulkan data digunakan metode studi literature dengan melakukan serangkaian penelaahan terhadap modul, Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS), dan catatan terkait implementasi alur MERDEKA. Hasil penelitian menemukan, bahwa pembelajaran reflektif disebut ruh pembelajaran alur MERDEKA karena memiliki kesamaan atau kemiripan unsur-unsurnya. Adapun kesimpulan, bahwa terdapat kesamaan atau kemiripan dalam hal pemahaman konsep pembelajaran, penggunaan taksonomi Bloom revisi, penerapan teori belajar, CPMK, dan langlah-langlah pembelajaran

    PROBLEM SOLVING ON INTEGRAL CALCULUS WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF LECTURERS TUTORS, GOOGLE SEARCH, AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLEGANCE TUTORS: PHENOMENOLOGY STUDY ON PROSPECTIVE MATHEMATICS TEACHER

    This study reveals how prospective teacher students solve Integral Calculus problems with three different assistances, namely the Assistance of Lecturer Tutors, Google Search Tutors, and Artificial Intelligent (AI) Tutors through Socratic Application. This study used a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods to reveal participants' learning experiences. Research participants consisted of nine people who were divided into three groups with different assistance. The data obtained were in the form of recorded discussions, interviews, recorded cellphone screens, and artifacts of student answers. All data is analyzed based on the activity of the respondents in seeking and finding answers. The research findings show that students who study with the help of lecturer tutors are more careful in proposing assistance from the search and sorting of answers stage. While students who use AI and Google Search have almost the same characteristics in starting a search, but at the stage of sorting answers,  AI is thought as able to provide more efficient and accurate recommendations answers

    Implementasi Model Problem-Based Learning terhadap Peningkatan Critical Thinking dalam Pendidikan Jasmani

    This research was conducted to learn about implementing the problem-based learning model to improve critical thinking in physical education. This research study aims to analyze the impact of using problem-based learning on increasing critical thinking in physical education and its influence on the 21st century. The research method used is the Systematic Literature Review research method using a qualitative approach. The data collection used was by collecting other literature studies resulting from research in 18 examinations taken from 7 sources, which were included in a systematic review based on the quality of the sources. The results show that problem-based learning can be a practical approach for improving students' critical thinking skills. In conclusion, problem-based learning can enhance students' learning experiences, encourage critical thinking, and increase deeper understanding of concepts and facts.     Analisis Tingkat Keterampilan Kepemimpinan Atlet Berdasarkan Perspektif Gender Di Sekolah Bulutangkis Provinsi Jawa Barat

    The purpose of this study was to use quantitative descriptive techniques to examine the level of Leadership Skills possessed by badminton athletes from the West Java Provincial Club. 29 male athletes and 21 female athletes formed a research group of 50 athletes. The instrument used Life Skills Scale of Badminton Sport (LSSBS) developed by (Hambali 2024) consists of 24 items as a means of measuring life skills, and is the instrument used in this study. The researcher created each item to be appropriate and relevant to what will be tested to measure the leadership characteristics possessed by athletes who play badminton. Afterwards, the data was examined using SPSS (Statistical Package For the Social sciences) software version 29.0, independent sample T-test, and descriptive statistical techniques. The researcher showed that male and female athletes have different levels of leadership. With a percentage rate of 62%, both were evaluated in the Moderate group. In terms of gender, male athletes were categorized as Moderate (34%), while female athletes were also classified as Moderate (28%), in the same group. The sig value. (2-Tailed) = 0.020 was revealed by the findings of the independent samples T-test analysis. Conclusion, it can be said that there is a substantial difference in the leadership levels of male and female athletes (sig. (2-Tailed) > 0.05. Keywords: Badminton; Leadership; Life Skills

    Analisis Tingkat Kecakapan Hidup dalam Perspektif Dimensi Pengambilan Keputusan Berdasarkan Gender di Klub Bulutangkis Jawa Barat

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of life skills in the decision-making dimension owned by badminton athletes in the West Java using descriptive methods. Total of 50 athletes consisting of 29 male athletes and 21 female athletes participated in this study. The research instrument is in the form of a life skills scale of sport (LSSS) developed by Cronin which aims to measure the level of life skills in the decision-making dimension of badminton athletes. Data was obtained using descriptive statistical analysis and independent sample T-test using SPSS software version 29.0. The results showed that the level of life skills in the decision-making dimension of male badminton athletes was the same as female athletes. Both are in the medium-level category with a percentage of 72%. Based on gender, male athletes are in the medium category with a percentage of 34% and female athletes in the medium category also with a percentage of 38%. while in the independent sample analysis, the T-test obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.047/0.407. In conclusion, there is a significant difference between the level of life skills in the decision-making dimension of male athletes and female athletes.
