Probiotic is a supllement feed mikrobia which beneficial for cattle to keep mikrobia balance in gut. Giving probiotic can keep the composition mikrobia in digestive tract of cattle to increase the power of gastrointestinal tract and keep healty of cattle. The aims of research was to measure the levels of cholesterol, HDL and LDL in blood of indigenous chicken with given as probiotics feed additive. This study used Day Old Chick (DOC) of 200 chicken with initial body weight of an average of 33.58 ± 0.8 grams, antikoagulen, EDTA, Vacuntainer, Centrifuge. Probiotics used which are the kind of mold. The composition of basal feed are metabolizable energy (ME) 2750 kcal, 20.9% crude protein, 6.260% fat. Experimental design used was completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments with 5 replicates, each experimental unit 20. The treatment was dose of probiotic T0 without probiotics addition, applied 0.25 g probiotic / 100 g (T1), 0.50 g probiotic / 100 (T2), 0.75 g probiotic / 100 g (T3). The results showed that addition of probiotics affected (P <0.05) to the levels of Cholesterol, HDL, LDL. The average HDL levels each treatment T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 41,440; 45,920; 48,440 and 50,440 mg/dl respectively. The average LDL levels each treatment T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 78,089; 70,550; 45,677; and 47,011 mg/dl respectively. The average Cholesterol levels each treatment T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 163,529; 160,000; 132,941; and 131,764 mg/dl respectively. The emelutions the addition of probiotics increased levels of HDL, decreased levels of LDL and cholesterol in indigenous chickens

TIE-2 expressing monocytes in human cancers.
Tumor-associated macrophages (TAM) are well known as a key player in the tumor microenvironment, which support cancer progression. More recently, a lineage of monocytes characterized by the expression of the TIE-2/Tek angiopoietin receptor identified a subset of circulating and tumor-associated monocytes endowed with proangiogenic activity. TIE-2 expressing monocytes (TEM) were found both in humans and mice. Here, we review the phenotypes and functions of TEM reported so far in human cancer and their potential use as markers of cancer progression and metastasis. Finally, we discuss the therapeutic approaches currently used or proposed to target TEM
Two-year observations of the Jupiter polar regions by JIRAM on board Juno
We observed the evolution of Jupiter's polar cyclonic structures over two years between February 2017 and February 2019, using polar observations by the Jovian InfraRed Auroral Mapper, JIRAM, on the Juno mission. Images and spectra were collected by the instrument in the 5‐μm wavelength range. The images were used to monitor the development of the cyclonic and anticyclonic structures at latitudes higher than 80° both in the northern and the southern hemispheres. Spectroscopic measurements were then used to monitor the abundances of the minor atmospheric constituents water vapor, ammonia, phosphine and germane in the polar regions, where the atmospheric optical depth is less than 1. Finally, we performed a comparative analysis with oceanic cyclones on Earth in an attempt to explain the spectral characteristics of the cyclonic structures we observe in Jupiter's polar atmosphere
Camera re-calibration after zooming based on sets of conics
We describe a method to compute the internal parameters (focal and principal points) of a camera with known position and orientation, based on the observation of two or more conics on a known plane. The conics can even be degenerate (e.g. pairs of lines). The proposed method can be used to re-estimate the internal parameters of a fully calibrated camera after zooming to a new, unknown, focal length. It also allows estimating the internal parameters when a second, fully calibrated camera observes the same conics. The parameters estimated through the proposed method are coherent with the output of more traditional procedures that require a higher number of calibration images. A deep analysis of the geometrical configurations that influence the proposed method is also reported
TIE-2-expressing monocytes are lymphangiogenic and associate specifically with lymphatics of human breast cancer.
In experimental mouse models of cancer, increasingly compelling evidence point toward a contribution of tumor associated macrophages (TAM) to tumor lymphangiogenesis. Corresponding experimental observations in human cancer remain scarce although lymphatic metastasis is widely recognized as a predominant route for tumor spread. We previously showed that, in malignant tumors of untreated breast cancer (BC) patients, TIE-2-expressing monocytes (TEM) are highly proangiogenic immunosuppressive cells and that TIE-2 and VEGFR signaling pathways drive TEM immunosuppressive function. We report here that, in human BC, TEM express the canonical lymphatic markers LYVE-1, Podoplanin, VEGFR-3 and PROX-1. Critically, both TEM acquisition of lymphatic markers and insertion into lymphatic vessels were observed in tumors but not in adjacent non-neoplastic tissues, suggesting that the tumor microenvironment shapes both TEM phenotype and spatial distribution. We assessed the lymphangiogenic activity of TEM isolated from dissociated primary breast tumors in vitro and in vivo using endothelial cells (EC) sprouting assay and corneal vascularization assay, respectively. We show that, in addition to their known hemangiogenic function, TEM isolated from breast tumor display a lymphangiogenic activity. Importantly, TIE-2 and VEGFR pathways display variable contributions to TEM angiogenic and lymphangiogenic activities across BC patients; however, combination of TIE-2 and VEGFR kinase inhibitors abrogated these activities and overcame inter-patient variability. These results highlight the direct contribution of tumor TEM to the breast tumor lymphatic network and suggest a combined use of TIE-2 and VEGFR kinase inhibitors as a therapeutic approach to block hem- and lymphangiogenesis in BC
Linear pose estimate from corresponding conics
We propose here a new method to recover the orientation and position of a plane by matching at least three projections of a conic lying on the plane itself. The procedure is based on rearranging the conic projection equations such that the non linear terms are eliminated. It works with any kind of conic and does not require that the shape of the conic is known a-priori. The method was extensively tested using ellipses, but it can also be used for hyperbolas and parabolas. It was further applied to pairs of lines, which can be viewed as a degenerate case of hyperbola, without requiring the correspondence problem to be solved first. Critical configurations and numerical stability have been analyzed through simulations. The accuracy of the proposed algorithm was compared to that of traditional algorithms and of a trinocular vision system using a set of landmarks
Wernicke encephalopathy caused by avoidance-restrictive food intake disorder in a child: a case-based review
Background: Wernicke encephalopathy (WE) is an acute and potentially fatal neuropsychiatric disorder resulting from thiamine deficiency: its etiology and clinical presentation can be heterogeneous and arduously recognized, especially in children and adolescents. Case presentation: An 8-year-old girl arrived to the emergency room with ataxic gait, nystagmus, and mental confusion after a 10-day history of repeated severe vomiting; her recent clinical history was characterized by restricted nutrition due to a choking phobia, which caused substantial weight loss. Brain magnetic resonance imaging revealed a bilaterally increased T2 signal in the medial areas of the thalami and cerebral periaqueductal region. Diagnosis of WE based on clinical and neuroradiological findings was established and confirmed after labwork showing low serum thiamine. Following psychiatric evaluation, the patient was also diagnosed with avoidance-restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), which required starting cognitive behavioral therapy and introducing aripiprazole. The patient displayed improvement of the radiological findings after one month and complete resolution of her neurological symptoms and signs. Conclusions: Eating disorders like ARFID might forerun acute signs of WE; this possibility should be considered even in pediatric patients, especially when atypical neurological pictures or feeding issues come out
